It's a hole in the wall BBQ joint in an old house. A handful of tables inside and several tables outside. Grew up in the Midwest eating KC, Oklahoma and Texas BBQ so I have high expectations for BBQ brisket. This brisket surpassed my expectations. It's the best brisket I've found east of the Mississippi River. All the meats had a good amount of smoke. Ribs were tender. Sausage had just the right amount of heat. Had BBQ beans and coleslaw as the sides. The beans were exceptionally good, with a bold rich flavor. They offer 5 sauces. We opted for the sweet sauce which is a rich tomato based sauce. We left completely happy with the experience.

Super friendly bbq spot, all meats are gluten free according to the cashier. I ordered ribs and unfortunately the wings were sold out. Ribs were not very warm but they were still tasty, I wasn't a big fan of the sauces a bit sweet I prefer spicy. The greens were good I needed hot sauce for those also, beans were a little sweet also but again some spice would've been great with them. Everything was decent no complaints. Unfortunately I did seem to have a gluten reaction after which is why I had to give 3 stars not sure what I reacted to - PBR was enjoyed by my spouse and was super happy about the $2.75 price tag.

LOVE that they have crayons and coloring books for kids

Delicious, filling, authentic and just all around a great spot for bbq if you're in the area, the brisket was smokey and flavorful, the sides were really good too, they use red potatoes for their potato salad, there are lots of options for meats, sides and even bread! Their collards are juicy, not too salty and definitely not bland. Service was great! Informative and kind staff, restaurant is clean too. Definitely recommend!

Chicken was pretty good. I've had their brisket and pork before and was not really that impressed. The chicken has been by far my favorite.love their homemade pickles and sauces. We went late in the day so they were out of a lot and the peanut butter pie was frozen still when I ate it. It still wasn't that bad.

Trust me - this is the best pulled pork and brisket I've had. I've been to +30 bbq joints across the South and Texas, and this place takes the cake. The brisket is lean and flavorful, and the pulled pork is juicy and seasoned well. I like to dip in the Alabama white and spicy bbq sauces. The beans also have big chunks of brisket in them. Pro tip: skip the Mac and cheese, it's not worth it.

The ribs needed no sauce. Neither did the brisket. Every single thing I ate was on point! These folks know how to season and cook. Period. Not to mention they are so friendly and the bbq smell when you walk in is amazing! Can't say enough good stuff.

We were just staying one night Opelika on the way home. Looked up this place based on yelp reviews. It was a good find. The brisket was great.we tried with sweet bbq sauce. The sweet flavor really enhance the brisket tenderness. The beans are great as well with pieces of meat to add on the texture. Also finding the small brisket sandwich do pack in a large portion of meat. Well worth the price. The core bread was a bit dry though. The pulled pork was also a bit on the dry side. But add more bbq sauce saves it.

This is a whole slab from Sam's for $12 bucks , 13 ribs in total

The place was clean , the quality of the ribs for the price could of been better , service was horrible, the employee didn't know what a slab of ribs was , so 8 ribs for over $34.00 and yes they asked what type of BBQ sauce, but ended up with none in the bag.

The food is cooked perfectly. The smoke flavor is there but not overpowering. The staff was friendly and cheerful. Between my wife and I we had the brisket, ribs, pulled pork and a couple of wings to try the white sauce. For sides, Mac &cheese(good smoky flavor), bbq beans (very tasty) and the collard greens, great surprise with the brisket in them. Really fabulous meal

Atmosphere is spot on when it comes to an Irish pub. (Last summer we were in Ireland, taking part in many a Guinness and other things in various pubs.) Our family group had burgers, shrimp and grits and a Sheppard's pie (actually a cottage pie). We also shared an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. The portions are large and almost all of us took another full meal home when all was said and done. Tasted great, we just couldn't finish it all! The location is nice too, lots to do down that strip.
