Atmosphere is spot on when it comes to an Irish pub. (Last summer we were in Ireland, taking part in many a Guinness and other things in various pubs.) We had a wonderful waitress...and I'm sad we can't remember her name. A lady in her 40s or 50s. She was super attentive, nice and welcoming. Wait time wasn't long, everything came out quickly. Our family group had burgers, shrimp and grits and a Sheppard's pie (actually a cottage pie). We also shared an appetizer of fried green tomatoes. The portions are large and almost all of us took another full meal home when all was said and done. Tasted great, we just couldn't finish it all! The location is nice too, lots to do down that strip. As for costs, it was on par with other places with the same food quality. If you're in town, this place is a must!

A big deal was made that we would not be charged for it. A couple of us went with the grouper over jambalaya special. The fish was fantastic with a light, fried crust. Everything else was stone cold. The restaurant was a bit chaotic and our server was not to be seen so I finished most of the fish before being asked if I was enjoying my meal. We did not eat the cold side.

Inside was the same old local photos, has a daily special, has a kids menu , didn't get a photo. Staff were friendly. Got the Jalapenos burger with all the fixin, it was warm to be but not super hot. Which was great to me. Got a melt it was very cheesy and a kids cheeseburger, got it plain but didn't know the bun was toasted (my kid don't like toasted buns) got wedges, they was good remind me of the old KFC wedges. We all ordered burgers because we arrived too late for breakfast. I had a double cheeseburger with onions, bacon & lettuce on the side. My son had a breakfast burger with fries My mom a pineapple burger with fries (tots are also an option or you can pick a side from the menu) Burgers took a bit to come out but when they did omg! Huge & the fries were fresh. The condiments are all on the side which is perfect & theres nothing missing if you need it. I wouldn't have ordered a double if I knew the patty was so huge.. it was very well seasoned & cooked. I'm a definite fan! Everyone's food was great. The only thing I will say is... the service could be better. There was a gentleman who brought our food out & what a breath of fresh air. Super sweet very attentive, quick smile and very helpful. That was very opposite of the service we had prior when we came in. The ladies weren't too friendly or attentive nor did they seem very interested in serving us. So to this the gentleman who came out to help longer hair - THANK YOU.

I couldn't have asked for a better dinner date than coming here with my super thoughtful boyfriend…read morewho completely spoiled me with such great food! We came Valentine's Day weekend from Columbus, GA after attending mass. He really wanted to take me here and I'm so glad he did. We had the bread and butter which was to die for! I think they gave us too much butter over bread ratio, but l'm not complaining haha. So warm, soft, fluffy and delish the bread was. I don't think we talked much when we had our wagyu steak main course cause it was so good, we couldn't say a word to each other. The pepper sauce with the perfectly cooked medium rare steak (which came cut in two pieces, which is a really genius move to serve steak by the way), with white asparagus, caramelized onion, rose petals, and just pure deliciousness. Literally chef's kiss. We also couldn't make up our mind about desserts cause they had a Valentine's dessert menu and the couple sitting next to us also recommended the cookies and milk. Yeah- I'm really lucky and very spoiled. Definitely hit a sugar high, but absolutely worth it. Servers and greeters were also all so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend :) I think this is the nicest dinner anyone has ever treated me to. Thanks for my amazing boyfriend- I'm so grateful.

Our main dishes all come out together, which was amazing since it was a group of twelve. Everyone enjoyed their food. We also got the cookies and milk for dessert which they brought out with a happy birthday and congrats sign to finish off our celebration. Again the service was great. Ah-Maz-Ing! The homemade tortillas were fluffy but not too fluffy, the steak was so tender, I mean, even if you have dentures, this is safe ground to slap them jowls. I don't plan to need a "last meal," but if I did, this would be it. The rice, beans, and that butter are all 10/10.

The hostess quoted us a 40-45min wait, but we were pleasantly surprised it was only about half that. The space was insanely warm-- got it, it's winter and it's cold/rainy, but we were sweating and our baby's cheeks were turning pink. Our waiter made the experience less than ideal. He definitely didn't want to be there and his performance showed that. He was no help when we asked about menu items-- we got nothing more than a shrug and a mumbled 'I don't know'. He was slow to do anything and our beer was barely cold when it made it to the table after letting it sit at the bar for too long. We waited for 40min for our dinner. Even a Friday night in a busy college town shouldn't equal that. Food was good when we finally got it. Not worth the long wait, but decent. Disappointing visit...but, I'll probably go back when it's hopefully less busy and attempt a better experience.
