I was out and about and got hungry.. anyone sensitive to gluten knows how difficult it is to find a safe meal in a pinch. I decided to give Jersey Mikes a try but I gotta admit I was Soooo nervous. I was warmly greeted, and to my surprise no scoffs or annoyance when I requested Gluten free. The person helping me "Will" was so incredibly kind. He asked what I'd like on my sandwich .. I replied, "A little of everything!" When I tell you this man went TO THE BACK of the store to pull out FRESH INGREDIENTS that had zero risk of cross contamination. Cut my Meats on a separate Meat Cutter and Prepared my entire sandwich in a separate workspace!! I literally almost cried and I'm not joking!!! He did not make a fuss about any of this - nor did I ask for that level of care. Yes it took him Longer, and there were others waiting in line. He didn't care, and when I told him how much I appreciated his efforts-he said "my best friend is celiac, so I understand!" It seriously made my whole month.
