We got a gyro platter with salad ($12) & a kids grilled chicken tenders with fries ($8) The gyro meat was tender and the sauces were all great! We tried the tzatziki, yiannis sauce and another thicker one and they were all sooo flavorful. The yiannis sauce is like remoulade and we liked it a lot The platter was enough for my husband and I to eat and the gyro meat was tender. The chicken on the kids meal was perfectly cooked, tore apart easily and was moist inside. The kids meal came with animal crackers and a drink too so it's a great deal. Our toddler loved the fries ofc They have interesting seats inside and they look so be new and in great condition and we can right at open so it didn't take long at all. I was in Valley, AL a nice little interstate town near the Georgia state line. I wanted to get a bite and turned to Yelp. I am glad I did. Yiannas is a nice little sandwich place that has salads, burger, fries etc AND Greek Gyros. Maybe the freshest gyro in Alabama. The pita was soft and warm, the meat was fresh and tasted right, not too spicy or too greasy. Let's face it gyro meat can be mysterious. This was not mystery meat but lamb. The tomato, lettuce and onion were cold and fresh. Taziki was spot on too. I ordered a side of pita and hummus and fries. Pita was soft and warm, hummus cold and generic, but good. Fries were fresh out of their fryer and hot. I repeat it was all fresh prepared. Everyone was friendly. The place is spotlessly clean. This was my first time eating from here and the food okay. It took about 20 minutes to relieve my food but everything was fresh and hot. You may have to ask for more condiments because they can be stingy with it. Other than that I would eat here again. read more

We found this place thanks to Yelp, and it completely lived up to the reviews! We were on a road trip to Mississippi and liked it so much, we made a point to stop again on the way back -- even the kids requested it! We ordered the Philly cheesesteaks, and they were easily in our top 3 of all time -- perfectly cooked, flavorful, and satisfying. We also tried the gyro platter, which was delicious and ranks in my top 5 for gyro meat -- tender, well-seasoned, and generously portioned. The fries were crispy and tasty, a great side to both meals. The wings weren't the best we've ever had, but my 10-year-old (who's quite the little foodie) gave them a big thumbs up, so that says something! One heads-up: the prices listed on the menu didn't quite match what we were charged, so just be aware of that. Still, the food more than made up for it. We've driven by so many times and never stopped by. We were really missing out! You order at the counter and your food is delivered to your table. We both had the gyro combination, and they were absolutely delicious. Service was good, food was delicious, and portions were large. Very clean, and family friendly environment. This is an extremely reliable restaurant. The cheesesteak is great, the gyros are amazing, and the chicken is divine. The servers here are always very nice and give you your food quickly and correctly. This is the most incredible fast food i've ever had... this is the kind of quality you'd expect from a high end big city bistro. With a greek food bent, the menu is simple but with enough variety to keep regulars happy. I had the California Chicken Salad and it was fantastic!
