The slightly higher prices are reflective of the much higher quality of products and staff. Selection is a bit less varied than Walmart, but the experience is so much more enjoyable. I especially appreciate the recycling center provided by Publix: Paper, Foam, and Soft Plastic. My efforts toward re-use, re-new, and re-cycle are very small, but I'm thankful for the encouragement and support provided by Publix. One more thing: the pharmacy at our local Publix has HIGI! It's an easy, low-stress way for me to keep track of my weight, blood pressure and BMI. Thank you, Publix!
