For the price, it's a decent option for food. I came during lunch and ordered a special, asking for an extra egg roll and hot and sour soup. Good speed, food was hot but you have to take it out there is no eating in here. Only one egg roll came you can't tell if your order is right because the bag is stapled shut. That being said, there is a lot of food for $7.75. I realize now that maybe she thought I was confirming the egg roll that came with the lunch. Hard to hear or speak behind a mask and glass pane. This place is located in a shopping center between dollar tree and the piggly wiggly. I went here for lunch one day about 1pm. There was no one in front of us and we ate in so they bought it to our ttable when it was ready, about 8 min. I did like that they use fresh veggies (I saw someone cutting onions and mushrooms) I don't even cur mushrooms. I buy them presliced lol. I got the beef with vegetables I wasn't expecting yellow rice but that was ok. He food was good but had zero salt. I never add salt to my food I'm always ok with however mUch they put in it preparing it. But all of our food had zero salt. Excluding the beef w veggies, my food was lacking flavor. The crab Rangoon was hot and fresh. We stayed and talked for anOther 30 min. I appreciated that they didn't rush us. read more

Always great food made right in front of you. They are hard working people cooking wonderful food.

I ordered hot and sour soup and fried dumplings. The soup lacked seasoning, was watery and didn't have enough of that hot and sour taste. The dumplings were very thin and just soaking in oil. Those items are my "when I'm not feeling well" go to foods. Unfortunately this time they didn't make me feel better. read more

Do not order the honey chicken... got home and it's one big blob of goo! (see photo). Got the house special lo mein which tasted really funky and full of garlic... had one pitiful shrimp in it... fried rice is tasteless and dry. The place was filthy. read more

The portions here are huge! Other than that, just your run-of-the -mill shopping center Chinese food. I had shrimp lo mien, which was flavorful and not too greasy. The egg drop soup wasn't seasoned very well, but I loved the hot and sour soup. A nice, cheap place for lunch. My biggest complaint is that it was too hot in the restaurant. Today was my second visit and it was much better than the first. These were the best chicken wings I have ever had at a Chinese restaurant. It's very well seasoned and fried just right. The house special fried rice was a bit bland but it had lots of meat and a decent amount of seafood. The spare ribs were a bit dry but I would still order again. Cheng's is good. The price is right too. And,.. they deliver! My growing boys love it and I feed them this when I want bang for my buck:).

I always order the chicken with mixed vegetables with hot and sour soup. It's only $5.95 and it's more than I can eat. They cook the broccoli perfect and the soup is one of the best I've had. It's not the best place I've been, but for a small town and for the price it is excellent. read more

Ummmm..just ok for me. A lot of other really good reviews but...First of all the fried rice is yellow, not so good - ever. The sauces on our chicken was ok, but not great. Hidden in a small unit next to Piggly Wiggly sits a plain Chinese restaurant with GREAT food. It is located less than a mile from the most "popular" Chinese restaurant in town, which happens to be the priciest. There is no buffet, because every dish is cooked to order--hot and fresh, right out of the wok. A single combination plate with fried rice and egg roll is actually enough for 2 people. We had Sweet and Sour Chicken and Sesame Chicken. Both were terrific, and it was hard to decide what to order as the menu is so vast. The folks in this town really need to get out of their ruts and try some place other than their norm. It really does make eating out more interesting! read more

Decent Chinese food. Not the best or worse. Surprisingly low prices. Huge portions. Staff is pleasant. Decor and restrooms could be a lot better. Only a few places in the area to get Chinese food.
