I love Korean food and I love Bibinbop- not sure how to spell. First the positive. Food was good…read moreand there was a lot of it. They also provided free green tea for the table. Negative. The food was cold. I ordered with the hot stone and the only thing that was hot was the fried egg on top. I love when the rice gets burned a bit on the bottom but was barely warm. It was also supposed to be beef and veggie. I think I found two small pieces of beef. For service you ring a bell which is weird. We sat in the middle of the room and you would think they would at least check on you. And did I mention the live ROACH we found on our table? We told them and they just had us switch tables. Ughhhh

I personally prefer grilled mackerel (B9) but my friend wanted the sole. Still didn't disappoint. We had the chicken teriyaki which I wouldn't normally order if I wasn't on a diet. We got sauce on the side and I salt and peppered it, still good. Our table also ordered the Tonkatsu (which has huge portions, two layers of deep friend pork), C7: Bone-in Haejanguk (hangover soup), and C2: Bulgogi in a hot pot. They both looked and smelled delicious and our friends loved it. All in all, I have no doubt that almost everything here would be good. I'm definitely coming back next time I'm in town!

Five Stars -- This Place Saved the Trip…read more Let me set the scene. We were heading to Callaway Gardens to pick up some Venice jewelry (I'll talk about that later), when I discovered that the Oyster House -- the seafood spot I was counting on -- was permanently closed according to Yelp. I was devastated. Like... fully prepared to cancel Pine Mountain altogether. I was having a whole moment. Then I did a little digging and found out that Eddie Mae's Kountry Kitchen & Oyster Bar had the same owner. I found this out before we arrived, and I knew immediately -- we HAD to stop there. And let me tell you... January 3, 2026 -- this is all I needed in my life. This is GOOD seafood. Like, really good seafood. Freshly cooked. Hot. Flavorful. Done right. The service? AMAZING. The people? Warm, genuine, country hospitality at its finest. The vibe? Real, welcoming, and comfortable -- no nonsense, just good food and good people. Food. Service. Atmosphere. People. Clean restaurant. Clean restrooms. Five stars across the board. I'll be honest -- I will never come to Pine Mountain again unless I know Eddie Mae's is open. I need y'all to hang in there with me because otherwise I can't even travel outside of Atlanta for real. If you want legit seafood, incredible service, and that authentic country goodness -- this is the place.

The day after Thanksgiving, about twenty of us rolled into Eddie Mae's Seafood Kitchen in Pine…read moreMountain, Georgia, still stuffed with turkey but ready for something fried, buttery, and Southern. Wrangling twenty hungry folks is no small feat, but our waitress handled us like a maestro conducting a seafood symphony. Not one single mess up. Not one forgotten order. Just pure joy, laughter, and the kind of energy that makes you swear her heart runs on sweet tea and Sunday kindness. She didn't just serve us, she took care of us. Her laughter kept us laughing, her smile kept us smiling, and her love for what she does poured out like sweet tea on a hot day. The world needs more people like her, because she reminded us that service can be more than just food, it can be a refreshing, soul filling experience. And the food? Absolutely amazing. Not only did we have seafood, but some of us went for the buffet, the kiddos got their grilled cheese, and the burgers were downright delicious. Plates of goodness that made us forget all about yesterday's turkey coma. To top it off, they had my favorite wine (hallelujah!) and beers for everyone else, which meant the whole table was happy. Eddie Mae's gave us more than lunch, it gave us a memory. A funny, touching, belly filling memory that we'll be talking about for years. Five stars, no hesitation.

I was really looking forward to having the short rib. Unfortunately when we were seated our waitress told us they didn't have it that day. While ordering drinks my husband was ordering beer and he was told they didn't sell what he was asking for. Even though it was listed on the menu. He ended up ordering whatever the waitress suggested and we ordered the shrimp cocktail while we looked over the menu. The shrimp cocktail was very good. For dinner I ordered the filet with lobster and my husband the Pork shank. My filet came out overcooked but was promptly fixed. The lobster was amazing ! My husband wasn't a big fan of the pork. We did order a cheesecake for dessert that was also really good. Overall our experience was pleasant but food wise not what I'd expected from the other reviews. However the service was great. The owner is so nice and spent time socializing at each table. He even came to make sure my second set of fillets were good to go. Our waitress is also very nice. I can see us trying this place out again. Hopefully on a night they have short rib.

You won't be able to use the kiosk to check in and depending on how busy it is, you might end up being in line for 30+ minutes to check in at the front desk. If you have an electric car, have a back up plan to charge your car. They have 4 Tesla chargers and two non-Tesla chargers. I've been told the two non-tesla ones does not work. The Tesla ones work half the time and you need to change the charge to 20amp from your car setting or it would stop charging after 5 minutes. I've also been told they plan to remove all the chargers in the near future so call ahead and ask. Sign up for their newsletter. They often have deals throughout the year and special sale on 8/4 every year. It's a fun place but everything inside is overpriced so expect to spend an extra $100 per night there if you plan on dining there as well. I've seen people pack their own lunch and drinks in a cooler and none of the staff members seem to care. There's also a mini fridge in the room and a microwave and ice machine on every floor. Bring a sweater or warm jacket. Walking out of the water park to air conditioned indoor area can be cold. In my opinion, staying on the first floor has been the more convenient. Especially the morning of checkout. You don't have to wait for the elevator and usually the elevator fills up quickly around checkout time. If you are purchasing miniature golf or bowling, buy the family deal if you have four or more people. The arcade Is a money pit, don't stay here too long or try your best to avoid it. My son loves this place and we keep coming back so they must be doing something right lol the staffs here have always been friendly so no complaints there.
