Okay, so this is my first time ever eating at a Waffle House. Reading the reviews for this place I was quite frankly scared. Don't listen to too many negative reviews, most people now a days have an over inflated value of their opinion. Yes, cleanliness & service do matter, but this is a Waffle House, not a Michelin star rated restaurant. Yes, the entire place could use a good scrub down. But our food was great. We came in for lunch. I told our server, Adele, that this was my first time in a Waffle House, she couldn't believe it. All the other members in my party had been to a Waffle House before. She explained about the hash browns. My life will never be the same. There are no waffle houses anywhere near my home, so now I just have to dream about the hash browns covered in chili. The chili is AMAZING! I had a patty melt with bacon, Adele gave us the new Waffle House sauce to put on it. OMG! Perfect! Just the right tang to add to the sandwich. I subtract a star only because it service was not quick and it wasn't the cleanest place. But everything we had was good and there was no food left on anyone's plate. I will have to find a Waffle House every time I travel outside of California just to have those amazing chili covered hash browns! read more

Scrambled eggs cooked until they were brown, grits were clumpy, cold and oily, raisin toast barely toasted and butter smeared in one spot not the whole piece. Seven employees milling around talking load hollering at each other. Jukebox blaring and three speaker phones blasting tic toks.It was Mother's Day Sunday at 7:00am I didn't eat my meal the noise the poor service and the disgusting food were a combination I couldn't tolerate. I know it's just Waffle House. ISmelled bad, dirty and not busy. I guess we arrived at shift change. One waitress and about 5 were leaving. Clearly they want to leave. One person tried to help, yet everyone else just ignored the patrons. Finally after 10 min Waitress took one of our orders and walked away to fill a to go order, she had no to plates etc etc . 20 minutes later, no food, no drinks and no service. So we left. Not one person apologized or cared. I guess they were relieved. I don't blame them It's hard work. Corporate should try to hire more help. read more

When I arrived there was no customers. I enjoy Waffle House always have. The people were less than friendly to see me, did not get part of my food eggs were cooked incorrectly hash browns for cooked incorrectly upon bringing this to the waitress attention she could have cared less asked several times for a second cup of coffee when going to pay she ignored me until I just left the $20 bill on the counter I did not want to leave $6 tip but was forced to out of frustration. Cold coffee, cold staff, warm ish food. Normal Waffle House feel but less smokey. The hash brown bowls were lacking in the toppings. Good thing it was a quick stop. Probably wouldn't go back driving out this way. read more

Waffle House food is very consistent across the company and that's definitely one of its good qualities! The food here was exactly as you would want your Waffle House meal to be. The staff here was attentive and I have no complaints about the service I received. The reason this location got three stars is it is outdated and somewhat dirty. I don't mean dirty in the sense that the tables are cook surfaces are unclean, I mean there is staining on the ceiling, and the bathrooms need serious renovations! Truthfully, this whole location needs renovations! This isn't the responsibility of the staff there, the things that need to be replaced and fixed are not such because they aren't being maintained by the kitchen staff but rather because they aren't bring maintained by the franchise or corporation. If they make these improvements, I would definitely return! read more

They never answer the phone my husband gets off at 2 and I try calling every time soon as he gets their , nobody's doing anything & it's not busy so how come they can't answer the phone So during the pandemic they actually answer the phone now , and the food is great , love tipping them ! read more

Did you know Nirvana covered the waffle house theme song? I'm not lying. I love me some waffle house. For some damn reason, every time I try to describe it to a Californian, they say without fail, "Like Roscoe's?" No damnit! Its not like Roscoe's. Its like Denny's, only less healthy. And louder. And smaller. lol Scattered Covered and Smothered may be a mystery to peeps west of the Mississippi, but I have a thick layer of grease around my heart for this place. Maybe it was youth, but I used to come here and order a waffle, grits, eggs, bacon AND hash browns (scattered and covered). Maybe the fact that you only eat every other day as a touring musician has something to do with it. I hate that my favorite location sits right next to Cajun Village because I have to wait a few hours and shlep over to get my Red Beans and Rice with Sausage at the Coffee Shop. Worst Waffle House. Filthy everywhere you look. Young girl cooking with no hair net on. Music so loud it was annoying. Trash can right where we were eating. Some employees talking LOUDLY about precious nights drama. Girl with her phone out constantly. Then they took loud conversation to the kitchen about their drama and it could still be heard. Our waitress's name was Fluffy Nae?! What kind of name is that? Well lemme tell ya- it's the name of a really slow, lazy, slightly angry and boring waitress. There were raw sausages that lay on the floor the whole time we were there, the stove was not clean at all, service was slow, and the food...wasn't that amazing. Stopped by with my hubby during our spring break trip to Louisiana; we left before we received our food because the service was awful! I usually would not write a review on a fast food type restaurant but this restaurant calls for a review. The waitress working the tables looked like she did not want to be there and the cook had poor manners (he cursed at the waitress in front of us). My first ever and last ever Waffle House. I think this "awful" Waffle House needs to be inspected by health authorities; do not order any meats here! I ordered scrambled eggs w side of ham & the ham was bad. Not only did it taste bad but the smell was terrible too. My wife ordered same but w sausage gravy on hash browns as they have biscuits & gravy on menu only to be told they have no gravy after being served. What!! Women's bathroom was very dirty and wife used a Kleenex to put on handle to open door. No cars in parking lot should have been our first clue. Avoid at all costs!! read more

I was here Thursday night, 11 p.m., Nov 9, 2012. There were six cooks/servers on duty, only six customers. I ordered a grilled chicken dinner, only to discover they had no salads. No offer to reduce the meal cost, just an offer of an extra serving of hash browns. I ordered the dinner to get a little variety, not less! Changed to cheese and eggs.
