Yeah Five Star! If you have never been you are missing out on an American Classic. The southern US is littered with these "Greasy Spoon" style diners! The food is super basic. The staff works hard and you will get fed a quality meal! The menu is always the same. Has been for decades and they grind it out 24/7. My favorite Grits are served here. My daughter always gets a Chocolate Chip Waffle, doesn't need to see a menu! There is a good chance you will see a wild show after last call in most towns! The staff calls out your orders,loudly to the cooks, who repeat it and execute without failure right in front of you! So the WH close to our house was only taking cash today so we picked the next closest one....6 miles away but seems like it takes forever to go that far. Pretty new one and really nice but a lot of wasted space IMO. Everyone here was so fun. Put on a couple of songs and everyone will sing along! Order my usual with scrambled eggs with cheese and onions. These are so good. A side of hash browns all the way except gravy and chili. This is a meal by itself. So good! They are selling these as stand alone bowls now. I like waffle house cause it's dependable. I don't think I have ever had a bad meal and it tastes the same everywhere. I like that. read more

We have been going this WF for some time but as you know, WF has unique turnaround with their staff members. So we noticed that there were new folks there. On Sunday, October 30th we perhaps had the worst service as in fact there was none at all. For investigative purposes this occurred at 2:18pm EST. Your staff sat us down and preferred to take other customers before us. My fiancé (who is pregnant) turned head in the direction of one of your staff members (an older white gentleman) and said: "wow I am so thirsty" hoping he would notice we had no menus or water for 6 minutes being the only folks present. He looked at her and turned away. Before this he looked at me and made a facial reaction that just didn't look pleasant. That face someone makes when they don't like you, if that makes sense. About 5 minutes had passed afterwards and this staff member is not bringing us menus, water, basically nothing. At this time additional customers walk in and side right besides us. We then see him grab utensils and menus and were relieved but then he went to the people besides us and also serviced a woman at the counter. He basically and rightfully ignored us. At one point we were the only people in this restaurant before the others showed up. When he didn't even look at us as we were in shock. We got up and walked out and as we did we were told to "have a great day". My fiancé was so disappointed. Like really? Was this because we are an interracial couple? Is this because she is pregnant? We don't know. What ever happened to first come first serve? Not even a menu or water. Absolute shame that these thought have to run through our minds. Lost customers today that were coming to your establishment for the last 3 years. read more

I ordered all star special with hashbrowns with cheese, but got hashbrowns with onions and no cheese sent it back. They put a cold piece of cheese on the same hashbrowns with onions, and would not remake them without onions. Bacon was burnt. I'm going to be honest , I go to a lot of different wafflehouses and this was my worst experience. This place gave me the smallest portion out of all for hash browns. Best part was that it was burnt and so was my bacon on my sandwich. The person I was with also got the same sandwich but hers was overcooked and rubbery with the burnt bacon on top as a bonus for that. I'm pretty disappointed in general. I also love getting charged for a sandwich that was inedible. Overall, I don't like it here. read more

it's a standard waffle house. the employees are nice, the bathroom is clean and the food is great. i think that's about all you can ask! the portions are diner sized so just be aware if you're dieting but if you're looking for the best value for what you pay this is a good choice. read more

So, last couple months I've been stopping by at this Waffle House and have always been happy with the service and cleanliness of this restaurant. I want to give a special shout out to one of the cooks Billy. Everytime he cooks my food its perfect kinda like I told him exactly how to do it! Today, I was craving a Patty Melt and I kid you not it was one of the best I've ever had! Exactly how I asked. Extra onions, cheese, bacon and the meat was excellent too! My husband and I have eaten at this waffle house location a couple times in the past without any problems. Today we attempted to eat here. Including the two of us, there were 11 customers. After about 5 minutes wait, a server brought us coffee and said someone would be back to take our order. We drank all of our coffee and waited and waited and WAITED. Finally, we put down some cash for the coffee and left. I doubt anyone noticed we had left. The star that I am leaving is for our previous visits where we were actually served food. read more

Ok....we all know the food is always good here. This review is about the great staff here. We came in during the Sat 1100 rush. The chaotic baleet between servers and cook staff was not only amazing to watch but their (mostly) great attitudes during all of it. On one side you have the cook handling two grills saying "I am just that good" and the high counter guy in a totally different conversation saying he was " I am the real MVP". You have to love team work and great people. If you are looking for food and a show you have to stop here. read more

Okay.....I know, I know....4 stars for a fast food diner, people must think I'm crazy. But I visited the location on Starkey and thought so highly of these ladies, I rated them a 4. I've visited other locations, the food is okay, service is fast, but this location was fabulous! We sat at the diner high top, right in front of the cook tops, waffle makers and coffee pots on a mid morning Sunday. All the tables were filled, people were waiting in line for pick up orders and all the staff was working at a New York super speedy pace. Hot coffee and OJ served immediately. Our food order was taken just as quickly. I was blown away at how well these ladies worked together to feed the large crowd. The waitresses called out orders to the cooks, who quickly began fixing each one. How they remembered each order still puzzles me to this day. Everyone working was uber friendly; three different people kept my coffee mug filled. I ordered eggs over easy and some white toast. Eggs were perfect and I was able to dip the toast into the yolk with ease. My daughter ate the cheesy grits and loved every buttery bite. My son ordered some ginormous breakfast bowl with hash browns, bacon and scrambled eggs. He also had a side of sausage gravy and biscuits. There wasn't a crumb left on either dish!!! We had such an enjoyable time watching and interacting with this staff!!!! To the Pats waitress, my Eagles won and as promised, I'll be back! read more
