OVERALL: Hot Food, Fast Service (usually), Food tastes Adequate to Good, Limited, but Expected Menu items (hasn't really changed in Years!) When You're hungry and it's still early (7-10am), when nothing else is open and lunch is hours away at 11a.m., this is a place to fend off Your hunger. My 1st visit to a Waffle House in years, and before I left, I told the Mgr that I was very impressed by his staff. One Worker ("KiKi"), never stopped moving the entire time we were there. She also called out a lot of direction to the rest of the Staff. There are plenty of Staff who do a great job! And literally, a couple who are slow, and get orders wrong, or serve people in the wrong order (us usually served in order of arrival.) The food ranges from adequate to perfectly made (Ex: Eggs Over Medium, etc) The menu is limited remaining the same over time; however, that also ensures that the entrees are served with a consistency in quality that is at minimum acceptable and eatable, and at best, a great breakfast experience. Like all 'Greasy Spoons', one thing to remember is that the order of business is quick turnaround, fast food, consistent quality, a hot meal, and move on to the next Customer (for Staff), Place (for Customers coming in & out), and not to look to closely at things like cleanliness. Because, for a GermaPhobe like myself a fast food breakfast 'Greasy Spoon', (an often affectionate name given to Fast Food & Fried Food locations frequented by Truckers+Travelers during road trips, back in the 70's-80's), taking too close a look at a Fast Food location's cleanliness, will likely result in a loss of appetite. Truly, not the cleanest place to eat, but if you can ignore, or close your eyes to that fact, the food is hot, served quickly, tastes good, and You can be on your way relatively quickly for a dine in location. Thanks to Hurricane Ida, we are still displaced, and since we aren't at home, we prefer not to cook in someone else's kitchen, so we've been hitting up this local Waffle House fairly regularly (I'm just a passenger on this ride), as there aren't that many places open for breakfast locally. Pretty much Waffle House, iHop (10min away), and Cracker Barrel (20min away). read more

I want to try a Waffle House and see what that was like and this franchise location was chosen to be my first Waffle House experience. Unlike Denny's or IHOP, the dining experience is very unique. You seat yourself, you can visibly see the kitchen and them make your food, and the menu is very simple with a combinations of a select few things. If you sat by the booth bordering the kitchen, they wait and serve you from the kitchen side which I find interesting. We took a booth by the kitchen where dirty dishes laid around for a good few minutes before someone finally decided to come up to clean it up for us as that was the only table available to seat a party of 4. Besides, that the experience was pretty good! Food is your standard fast food chain quality so I wasn't expecting it to be out of this world. It was interesting you can get your hash browns in different styles, but I stuck to the standard to see what it was like. Waffles were fine and the eggs were pretty standard. Overall I enjoyed the unique dining experience of a Waffle House. I wouldn't say I'd go out of my way to eat at another one in the future, but definitely wouldn't be opposed to it. read more

4/7/2018 When we first came in the store was quite loud and I almost wanted to leave... but turns out this staff is just having a good time and does a great job together. The team makes for a great experience. Our food was great and came out quick. We had the same thing we usually get and everything was perfect for our late night meal! Previously... you just can't beat Waffle House for late night greasy good food. We stopped in after a night out for a chicken burger and an egg & steak plate. Everything was great. read more

Cleaner and nicer staff than many WH. Coffee pretty good and bottomless. Waffle pretty good for price, didn't like the buttery spread, syrup good. Scrambled eggs, tasted like real, hash browns, not cooked quite I like, I like crispy. but okay. Bacon cooked on grill, so not crispy like microwave, good taste though. Toast okay. My husband also got ham, pretty good and orange juice, pretty good. For Waffle House, one of the better ones. Sarrah was pleasant server and kept the drinks filled. Okay restrooms. I like Waffle House. I know how one is supposed to run, and this one is really up there. Things were clean and perky. Staff was sober and having fun. Our orders were nearly perfect, and the waitress was quick to fix the single error. Protip: if you want your hashbrowns in a ring, you can't add any toppings. Oh! This Waffle House has lots of new two-person booths. It's pretty cute, and I appreciate that I don't have to take up a four-top when we're just a pair. The late morning and early afternoon shifts were great, and I appreciated the cheerful holiday decorations, too. Not much more to say besides cheap waffles are my jam. the three star rating comes from my boyfriend... i could have gone with 2 stars, but hey, he was born and raised in LA and smitten by the whole Waffle House fad going on in the south. the staff was friendly and super attentive, and who doesn't like their hashbrowns topped with everything under the sun? i would definitely return to this waffle house and dine on their biscuits and gravy during my next drive through the middle of nowhere, louisiana. ;) read more

Very poor service ordered two eggs over medium and grits grits head chunks in it and the eggs were Raw white runny clear runny that's not eggs over medium and then it took 10 minutes for the cooked come back out to recook it I paid for my sausage biscuit and my coffee and left the manager was right there never offered to anything make it better no sorry nothing garbage Waffle House need to fire everybody read more

If I could leave 0 stars I would. At 3 am. I called this Waffle House twice to make an order and nobody answered. So thinking that they were maybe busy, I sent my boyfriend out to see if they were even open ( the weather had been bad, & there are many road closures ). Not only were they open, but both employees were outside when he got there. He goes inside and before even taking his order a female employee pulls up a chair then she begins to tell him her whole life story & about how she doesn't want to be at work. Its a Waffle House, what do you expect? Tables are complete with the obligatory layer of grease since you sit right next to the kitchen. I guess you have to eat at a Waffle House once in your lifetime--but I think once might be quite enough. It is a convenient walk across the parking lot from the Microtel Inn. read more

They never answer the phone it's really disappointing how much business they lose. When I go in and place my order at the counter all the employees are just standing around outside smoking or no where to be found. I like the food but just wish they would actually take orders. read more
