We came in early in the morning and the place was packed. I thought we wouldn't get a table because their booths are limited and there were 4 of us. Somehow we got a table. Staff was friendly and took our order quickly. Food came out fast and portions are huge. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the grits but they were delicious. Of course, the waffle was bigger than my head! It was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Not the cleanest place, but you already know that before going in. read more

The food was delicious! Perfect breakfast spot. We came after church and it wasn't a long wait. Service was well and I loved the WH sauce. The environment was typical W.H. And didn't disappoint with the juke box. Aside from the food the prices were on point and right within my Sunday budget. I subtracted a star because someone came out and started mopping while we were eating... I don't know if it was a spill or if that was just the time that the floor gets mopped.... I would've preferred them waited until there was less guest: it's something that's unappetizing about smelling mop water while you eat. But I'm sure that was a one time thing. read more

I stopped by Waffle House around 9 a.m. with my Dad for breakfast, and this was my first time visiting one. The experience was surprisingly good overall. The food came out extremely fast, was cooked well, and tasted great. Exactly what you'd hope for from a classic diner-style breakfast. The server was excellent, very attentive and quick to check in without hovering. The atmosphere was lively with music that was a bit loud, but it added to the upbeat morning vibe. The restaurant looked fairly clean, which made the experience even better. And for anyone who's heard the internet jokes. don't believe the hype. Not everyone's there for a fight. Most people are just enjoying good food and friendly service, just like we did. Overall, my first visit to Waffle House left a great impression. Fast service, solid food, and a fun atmosphere make it a great stop for a casual, satisfying breakfast. I'll definitely be back! read more

This place is impeccable! First off know the establishment you're visiting. Is this some fancy aesthetic brunch spot for you and your girls with all the vibes?....NO, but is this a place that feels like a little bit like family regular folk, people with good hearts, and people who want damn good food with flavor ABSOLUTELY!!!! The food is made with love, and yes lots of butter at times but again READ the room, if you want some low carb health conscious bland food do not come here! The service is quick, if you go during about the 10:30-12 pm time on the weekends be prepared to wait and sign up on the wait list there. Things move kind of rapid so it's not too bad even if your wait is 30 minutes. The staff was nice, welcoming and comical at times. The music selection ranges but it's definitely vibey from Alicia Keys, to pop back to debarge....if you don't know what to get, I recommend the AllStar it's a little bit of everything waffle (I like getting a pecan waffle), eggs, toast (I get cinnamon raisin), bacon or ham or sausage (they have chicken sausage) Hashbrowns or grits.... I mean can you really wrong with Waffle House? Nah. Their waffle is my all time favorite!! My go to every time is a waffle cooked light with hash browns covered and smothered (cooked light as well). Visiting Waffle House and ordering a pecan waffle, crispy bacon, hash browns and hot coffee is one of my favorite breakfasts while out of town because unfortunately we don't have them back home for some strange reason (El Paso - let's make it happen!). Took the kiddos with us to grab a bite while out of town visiting family. The breakfast for everybody was a hit - quick, hot, tasty! Of course, no trip to Waffle House is complete without a little drama! Experienced a brief, mild employee argument about where to seat us, including a nosey customer who chimed in, thinking it had something to do with them for some reason. My food is served by Mary or Titania both whom are very responsive knowing what I do/don't like as a whole both are a part of the morning crew. Also, I order something for when I leave, along with Mary say you gonna eat that too. If there were such a thing as a national chain hole in the wall, Waffle House would be it. The ones that I've been to , they all look the same. They all have super friendly staff that wait on you hand and foot. The food is always good. We always sit at the counter so we can watch the action. Somehow, I always get the waitress that is SO nice and does a wonderful job. Maybe that's because I'm nice to them, and I'm not that ass that expects perfect service every second that I'm there. I got my usual, the everything plate, and it was cooked perfectly. The two waitresses were so much fun, talking and joking with us the whole time. I wish I would of got their names so I could say THANK YOU for such a good time as we had breakfast for supper. Thank you ladies, we'll be back! read more

Came in for a very late breakfast. We were greeted with a friendly welcome and told that we could choose our seats. The manager made was so friendly and was walking around making sure everyone was satisfied. It was pretty busy. It was organized chaos!! Everyone was so friendly. I loved the whole feel of being there. Our waitress was amazing. I believe her name was Malinda. (Sorry, not sure) She made sure our cups were never empty. Our food came out fast and hot. A party of 4 1/2 , as walk in the employees are talking LOUD and not attending to the customers walking in ! As an employee sits down at the booth cleaning sugar containers ... We grab a booth only to be told 2 mins later that they are closing that section and we need to move to another area, this server claims he will take care of us while disappearing to the back, while AGAIN waiting to be served a party of 3 walks in and a server promptly started the process of taking their order ! I look back and said WOW and the server comes to our table and proceeded to explain how to other server was supposed to take our order but it doesn't matter she will take our order ! IF IT DOESN'T MATTER WHY DID YOU NOT HANDLE THIS THE CORRECT ORDER ! No one in that restaurant is willing to take ownership of the poor customer service provided today ! read more

I really love this place..it's loud, crowded and typically has some questionable guests dining in..but I wouldn't have it any other way. Every time I eat here the entire staff is friendly , my order is perfect and delivered in a timely manner no matter how busy they are. The manager is fabulous as well. He is everywhere helping out and truly runs the place with concern for both guests and employees. Not the place for a quiet meal lol, but it is fun and the food is good and inexpensive. As we parked, an employee was standing near the dumpster smoking a cigarette. We went in and put our name down n the waiting list. The employee walked in from his break, walked straight to the cooking area and began to stack clean plates then help with food. He did not wash his hands!! We left. read more

I love Waffle House! I mean great greasy breakfast food is hard to beat! This was my first time at this location, I usually go to the one in Plano, but was very happy with our service at this location! We came in around 8:30pm and Paula was our server. She noticed the air blowing full force on me and went to go turn it down. I wasn't going to ask since I know a lot of times they can't control it, but it was very sweet of her to notice and do what she could! My husband ordered one of the breakfast plates, and I just wanted waffles and a side of bacon. Paula just put it in as a full breakfast plate to save us money, which just added to the reasons she was great! I love their chocolate chip waffles, and the breakfast sandwich is always a winner too. Paula was great, and made our experience even better! If you like a delicious greasy breakfast, go to Waffle House! read more

The food is good and the service is good. Can't believe all the bad reviews , it's a Waffle House not a 5 star restaurant with a world renowned chef running the kitchen. It's a Waffle House, expect to wait a little when it's crowded and expect the place to be less then clean. Overall the staff are working hard to control the chaos . Food is inexpensive and loaded with sugar , oils and other bad stuff. read more

How I would rate our meal: Drinks: I got the amethyst dream and he got the smoke haus. Presentation of both was really nice, enjoyed both drinks but would probably try something different on our next visit. Appetizer: we got the Caesar salad to share. Loved the croutons and the dressing. It seemed a bit small but possibly for one person it would be enough! Entree: I got the crispy chicken breast, the piece of chicken is huge!! All the flavors of the dish come together so well, it's truly one of my most favorite things I've eaten recently! We also tried a side of mashed potatoes which were good and my fiancé got the red fish which he enjoyed. It is pretty light though, so maybe wouldn't recommend if you're REALLY hungry. Dessert: we got the milk and cookies. I wasn't honestly too impressed. I think I expected them to be warmed and gooey and they were not. However reheating the chocolate chip at home was good! The place is old and shows its age. Expected really. The staff is always super friendly and willing to go the extra mile. My kids really enjoy the food and I like the Sausage egg and cheese sandwich. I do wish they could get a bit of a facelift, maybe a bigger location. When we go on weekend mornings it is super crowded and end up leaving rather than waiting 45 minutes for a table.
