It's Waffle House. They are pretty standard, which is what makes them so good. You're pretty much guaranteed to get the same quality of food. I love sitting at the counter, watching the cook at the griddle work in the ballet that it is. I'd get service here. My server was very attentive. The restaurant was as clean as a waffle house is. Plenty of free parking out front. I ordered coffee with my meal and she offered me a to go coffee when I left. That was awesome. My wife and I traveling from N.Y. to MO. had the pleasure of stopping at the London, OH. Waffle House. There are no Waffle Houses any near us and only get to stop when traveling. I was very impressed with the whole operation at this location especially the kitchen staff. They were very efficient and appeared to be able to remember and fill orders without using paper checks or any comp. system. Our waitress was very nice and the food was excellent of course. This isn't a shining example of what a Waffle House is supposed to be. I almost said screw it and left but decided to stick it out. Should have left. From the time I walked in the door to leaving it was a solid hour and twenty. For Waffle House. While sitting there saw two groups of people walk out after sitting for 15 minutes. Insane. The manager was clearly stressed by the situation and started slamming plates around, talking loud, etc. He probably isn't paid enough to care but I can respect hard effort and decorum. I know it's a Waffle House off the expressway...but still. There was a level of basic cleanliness missing from this location, and the 3 peeps working had their hands completely full. I mean the place was packed at 730pm (?) with tables yet to be cleaned, trash to be emptied. It feels like they were short at least one person and one was new. Either way I have seen three Waffle House employees kill it at other locations. I am just going with 2 stars because the food was still Waffle House quality and the employees were working hard. But if you are reading this you might want to just skip it and go somewhere else. read more

I've been stopping here for 25 years. IT's continued to go downhill. Today the waitress and guy at the counter are telling their life long drug stories. Cook is sitting in a car outside while the waitress talks crap about him. I asked for a coffee when I sat down and never got it. The cook never did come in from the car. Below average Waffle House... I sat here on Monday morning where the place was practically empty with four waitresses on the floor and could not get anybody's attention. I literally had to call them to the table every time I wanted coffee or wanted to order anything. As a extreme regular of waffle house, probably have been to over 50 different ones across the country... You become accustomed to people paying attention to the customers instead of ignoring them. Stopped here on a cross country road trip at 1200 am. Didn't think much of it, it's the usual Waffle House but the service here was incredible! We walked in along with 8 other guest and we were all served our food within 15 minutes by Tim. Ms. Cassandria was the star of the show. Upon entering we passed a worker out side with a unlit cigarette in his mouth by the door it's was icy outside so he was salting the ground. My fiancé, my sister and I sat down. Friendly staff but the food was super salty and greasy. I ate at many Waffle Houses before in Virginia and North Carolina, this one wasn't to my satisfaction. I ordered 5 once sirloin, it was coated with salt felt like eating sand, the meat must have been frozen and thawed a few times before. Had a ridiculously good burger melt here. The hash browns were good, but just hash browns, not really that exciting. I was a little bummed I didn't see any sort of waffle combo except for the huge one that comes with way too much. I think I was secretly wishing they had chicken to go with their waffles, but no such luck. Restaurant was clean enough. Bathrooms could use an update. When she came in first thing she did was clean her tables and everything around her. She is very pleasant and friendly. Went there last Friday ... It was the worst Service I have ever had there before. Walked in no one said anything . All of the tables were dirty . Finally after 10 minutes standing at the door they decided to clean the table off ... They did didn't even wipe the table off !!!! This is true fine dining. The waffles are hot. Crispy. Decadent. Perfect ratio of chocolate chips, if you're into that sort of thing. Watching the making of a waffle was more joyous than seeing my first born. And the frying of the bacon was better than my wedding day. read more
