Simple menu, great price. Small town diner at its best. I loved that they had a French toast combo and it did not disappoint. Add cheese to your scrambled eggs and you won't regret it.

    a burger and onion rings

Unexpected trip to London to find somewhere local to eat. Service was excellent and good came out quick. The onion rings were killer. The burger and fish sandwich were okay. We got the chicken nuggets for the kids and they were a bit chewy. The bathroom could have used a cleaning but it was still in usable condition. As a cyclist, this would be a great place to stop along the OTET (Ohio To Erie Trail) as it is literally right off the trail in London.

    Steak and eggs

I stopped by here for a meal after running a half marathon in London, Ohio. The race staff recommended this place for a post-race meal and I can see why. The food is affordable, the food tastes great and the staff is fantastic. I opted for the steak and eggs breakfast which turned out to be quite the treat. I asked for medium on the steak and picked hash browns. The steak was correctly cooked and didn't need any salt, pepper or steak sauce. The eggs were done a perfect over easy so I got the pleasure of breaking them open and sopping up the yolk with some sour dough toast (not in the picture). I wasn't sure I had room for all of it but before I knew it, I cleared my plate, the toast and two huge cups of coffee. Worth every penny. I will be back if I'm in the area.

I think having a call reservation system could help, but they probably could also have some outdoor seating when the weather is nice. They're very friendly here, and the food is very good........so it's completely understandable why they're so loved. Just maybe they could use some extra capacity accommodations as I suggested.

I ordered a grilled chilled cheese to be safe because I suspected the quality of other items would be questionable. Unfortunately, the grilled cheese is made with one single slice of Kraft American Singles. Not even real cheese and it wasn't fully melted. The fries are frozen crinkle cut fries, also somehow cold. The bacon was gross, tastes dry and just low quality, like microwave kind? I tried my son's kid waffle which was surprisingly decent. Hash-browns were okay just unseasoned. Overall would not recommend if you're looking for quality ingredients but if you're looking for a greasy spoon you're in business. The staff was nice, probably the only positive for me.

Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

The broasted chicken was so good. Best chicken I've had in a long time. They gave me like 2 cups of mashed potatoes as well as the Parmesan brussel sprout. They were so good I had to eat the whole thing. Lots to do. There's a free petting zoo with goats. You can buy corn to feed them for a quarter. There's an antique mall next to and an Amish market. I'll definitely go back.
