I wanna start off by saying whenever I walked into the restaurant. I was asked what I wanted to drink, which was amazing. And then the lady looked at me and asked me what I wanted to eat and I said well I do not know because I do not have a menu and she's like it's Waffle House. I said I still need a menu and then she copped an attitude. And then I proceed to tell her I'm allergic to pickles. Then they try to put pickles on the plate and my order was originally a plain bacon cheeseburger plate chunk. My order comes out and I end up getting the plain cheeseburger with the hashbrowns without anything in them so then I say something and the man tells me I can just eat my cheeseburger and I'll get my hashbrowns whenever they get done re-cooking them like no I would like all my food to come out together. that's the purpose of a meal so I would highly recommend not going to this Waffle House. Let me start by saying that I've always been a fan of Waffle House since college. However once I got married and had children it wasn't as convenient. This particular waffle was so clean and the staff was so respectful that I'm thinking of making this a regular spot we visit on a monthly basis. Me and my group came in after homecoming. it was me and my boyfriend and then the rest of my group. me and my boyfriend were seeing who was gonna pay and I accidentally ripped the very top of my receipt. I go to pay and the lady calls me a child and says she needs that piece. I go to find it and bring back the wrong piece and she gets mad at me again so my boyfriend goes to get it. I apologized and she said to stop being sorry and be careful she says I'm a child when I'm in there. I just put my head down and walked away. horrible experience. read more

This location provides horrible service. Went in and sat down and no one greeted me. There were just a few people in the restaurant. As I sat in a booth several others came in and were waited before my order was ever taken. Exasperated, I got up and left. No one tried to stop me or say a word. Now to start off I know that this is a waffle house and certain expectations have to be lowered for a waffle house. With that being said this greasy spoon was ultra greasy. The waffle house is a chain is just a basic dive breakfast joint to get a waffle and a hot meal but this particular stop grossed even the toughest of tough out. When we walked in the hostess told us we could sit anywhere. I took one look at her with her drippy snotty nose drip and said oh God please don't let this be my waitress. And to my chagrin she was my waitress!!! She was pleasant enough but I saw that drizzle coming out her nose and could not summon the courage to walk out for which I should have done. Went to the Waffle House on Broad River Road on 8/15. Sat down at a table and there was one other customer. 2 waitresses and a cook. When I walked into the restaurant I smelled cigarette smoke and didn't think much about it. After 10 minutes from sitting down, my wife and I felt like we were in a 60's dinner as everyone was smoking. The food was standard Waffle House, but the amount of cigarette smoke was terrible. Worst experience ever. We got sat down in front of the kitchen and the kitchen floor was absolutely disgusting. I saw a man throw some food just on the ground. So i asked if i could move i did. Then the lady serving us had some white stuff on her mouth and went away and came back and had more. She brought our food got the entire order wrong at first. Really Really BAD! Walked in around 3:30 in the morning after working a night shift. I was the only customer in the restaurant. I placed my order to go and watched as the waitress went over to the corner and had to WAKE UP the cook. That's right... He was passed out. Needless to say once he woke from his slumber he proceeded to completely mess up my order (including the hash browns) and burned the cheesesteak. LOL I may be the only person that absolutely loves Waffle House. The new Apple Crumble Waffle is AMAZING! Cool and laid back staff (mind you I've never met a stranger). They're alright in my book.
