Honestly, you might just find the best burger in Hinesville, Georgia at Waffle House. Their smash burger is delish! Who doesn't love a good Waffle House? What a blast from the past, and a trip down memory lane dining here today! It's been about 20 years since I've eaten here with my little ones, and I found the employees as friendly and helpful as I remember. The restaurant was clean, too. This Waffle House may serve up the best burger in Hinesville! The Smashed Burger was a home run! It was delicious, drippy and cooked perfectly. My choice of tater tots were a strike out. While they were hot and crispy they had an off putting flavor. Old frying oil? I simply couldn't eat them. For a very busy Christmas Eve night with only a few staff working and lots of take-out orders coming in they did a pretty decent job of taking care of us. Food was good, had their patty melt with hash-browns and sweet tea. Good food for a decent price. The place seems a bit run down even for a WH. Could use a good cleaning and some paint touch up inside. Overall basically what one expects eating at Waffle House. read more

One of my personal guilty pleasures in life are Waffle House's pecan waffles. I will order it every single time I go there. This location though was spot on and worth the extra 15 minute drive from the one that's right off I95 (which only has 1 1/2 stars; yikes!!) I have been going to this waffle house for a while Now and I pulled up this morning to an old man turning me away at the door with no explanation, just waiving me out when I got out the truck. I noticed him laughing when I was pulling out. I came to huddle house and I realized I have been missing out this whole time. I won't be returning to Waffle House of Hinesville ever again. read more

As far as Waffle Houses are concerned, this ones purty darn good... These places get the worst, underserved rap and I don't know why - they offer super friendly service, solid food, and it's served up fast. That's what we got here - all three and with healthy portion might I add. This one is no exception, I'd be glad to visit again on my return trip to Hinesville. read more

My mom came to visit the weekend before thanksgiving and asked for her eggs to be scrambled but runny as well. The cool was phenomenal and made everything the way it was requested. We are and my parents left until Thanksgiving. Today (11/27/2021) we decided to eat here again and we had the same waitress and she remembered everything as my parents had requested the previous visit. Waffle House is Waffle House in the USA. Not to sure what to rate but that the food is ok not the best for a diner Waffle House that we are use to. But the service it seemed as if the waitress was more concerned with being nervous majority of the time. Overall expierence wasn't a horror show. But afterwards my sandwhich seemed to be a little distasteful when the cheese did taste right I am not to sure if it was a piece of cheese going bad or just the fact my taste buds where going out. No customer service at all. Staff was sitting down at a table when we came in and the waitress was inconvenienced she had to work and rude. We were not offered drinks or menus at first. Tables were dirty; we found guessing the only clean one. I asked if she could move a full trash can next to my seat; she said she had to leave it. First time eating at thisWaffle House. The morning staff was excellent and the food was just as great. I had the grit bowl. It was hot, fresh, and tasty. My boyfriend (a local of Hinesville) had the double Angus Burger with fried egg and bacon. I didnt think I'd like egg on a burger but it was amazing. I love Waffle House because you see your food cooked fresh in front of you. The staff made me feel as if I was eating in one of my aunties kitchens and not a diner. I had the hash brown bowl here added bacon and onions and asked for extra crispy hash browns and it was awesome. I usually frequent much nicer restaurants but sometimes u just need some simple comfort food. The staff was great and attentive, Bobby was my server and he anticipated what I needed. The worst I have ever been too. I do not know where to even start. Went there with my husband , my son, and his wife. We walked in and some of the waiters were arguing. A male and a female. They were very loud in the restaurant. Then the one guy gets sent home. He walks out then walks back in telling the customers he is getting sent home for telling someone else he knows how to do his job. We are waiting to be seated and their were two other parties ahead of us. They seat one party the next party is a party of 2 they sit them at a table for 4 instead of the table for 2 so we have to wait approximately 15 more min. to be seated all the while the table for 2 is not being used until someone else comes in as a party of 2. Then we get seated at the counter table over on the side. The counter was just wiped down and left soaked. I had to dry it off. So we have a full view of the kitchen. I told my husband I didn't think I would be able to eat. It was such a nasty view all over the floor. Water and food was all over the floor. Instead of mopping up the water the waitress stands in the puddle of water doing dishes and sloshing the water all over. One of the females waitresses later fell when she got to a table to take an order, So sad. When my husband got his food there was hair on his plate. one of the waiters had sores and cuts all on her arms and had no sleeve on. The worst place will never go back.... read more

Not going to leave a full review but this place is really clean and has amazing bathrooms

Food was good but service was bad. The waitress we started with took our order. She was rushed and it was obvious she was trying to leave as we were talking. She forgot to ask what I wanted to drink so I had to call her back. Then she brought the wrong drink to my wife, followed by the wrong food to her. We were done with breakfast. And she showed up with our 2 orders of bacon. At some point another waitress started helping us because ours was no where to be found. When we got the right food it was tasty though. read more
