We came here after the hurricane a few months back so we weren't expecting top tier because of how many people were without everything. However, we waited for about 30 minutes to be seated (expected) and then we were basically ignored for an additional 20 minutes. Finally got drinks and placed our order thinking it would be good and I'm sorry to say it was the worst food I've ever had! I would have been better off eating an MRE. There was no flavor to anything, my boyfriend asked for the chorizo bowl and I think he had MAYBE 3 tiny pieces of chorizo in the whole thing. It was very disappointing considering I've heard good things about it. Stopped here on a whim looking for simple breakfast with the family. It was a seat yourself kind of small town place. We ordered and the food came quickly and was crazy hot. My husband went with a Philly Omelette and hash browns and I had the cheese grits, bacon and eggs. Food was a good portion and was lightly seasoned (I definitely prefer more flavor). When we went to get our check the waitress told us the table beside us had paid for our breakfast. That was amazingly and had never happened to me before. I really enjoy this spot back was I lived in Hinesville in 2018-2020. I was in town for business and thought to drop by. The food was okay. I love the seafood omelette but the waffle with pecan did not taste as great as it used to. I was in route back home so I purchased to go. I founded out that now they are charging a convenience fee for take out. This is not fair. You may want to do away with this fee. Due to large orders and not receiving a tips I was informed. A tip is a choice, based on service and is not always received even when dining in. You are in business to make food for orders, whether dining in or out. Whats in the Gravy!?!? Wow. Their biscuits and gravy are hands down the best thing in Georgia! Holy biscuits! If I were in town longer, I would ordered these every single morning!! The biscuits were light, airy, and flaky. Not so impressed with the omelets though. The ones we ordered were super thin omelets, almost transparent, but not much flavor. The Triple Crown Omelette had a lot of almost burnt filling inside along with the egg portion being very very thin. I would definitely go back to the biscuits and gravy. We've lately had some experiences with slow to poor service and wondered how it was all going to play out. Well, it played out incredibly good. Service was impeccable. Not only was our server dealing with us, I noticed she had several other tables, but she was bussing tables as well. The lady was in a BEAST MODE - it was clearly obvious even to the casual observer. Anyway, our breakfast, of eggs, grits, toast, cheese - scrambled and delivered hot and fresh, was accompanied by their delicious Belgium waffles. No complaints there. My husband and I decided to give this place a try for breakfast. The staff was great, very quick and friendly. Additionally the building was clean and had a classic diner feel. Now, as far as the food, we weren't very impressed. We wanted to try a variety and ordered the country fried steak and eggs, which came with hash browns and toast (I substituted a biscuit for 75¢), and the Belgium waffle with chicken fingers. We also got a side of curly fries and a piece of French Toast to try. The steak and the chicken were very thin pieces, mostly consisting of batter. I should have asked for the hash browns to be extra crispy, as they were barely cooked. The Belgium waffle was okay but didn't really taste like anything. Fries, eggs, biscuit and French Toast were average, about what you would get at any diner. I will say some of the other items that came from the kitchen looked good, specifically some burgers we saw ordered at another table. From the non existent greeting, to me asking for mayonnaise, and not honoring the order that I made online- it was outrageous. She refused to give me the franchise owners's information. I thank God for deliverance. I told her I was going to pray for her and whoever pissed her off before me she should've taken it out on them. I let her know she was very unprofessional. Their Belgian Waffle was really good but the chicken wings was okay needs seasoning, Veggie Omelette was good...the customer service there was good friendly servers. Well I finally decided to stop and try this place out after seeing it so busy most days. Maybe I had this little cafe built up too much in my mind after hearing so many good things about it around town. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. I was so excited to see a breakfast place offering corned beef hash, until it came out. I thought the server brought me out about another order of sausage. The bacon was way overcooked, nothing fancy about the sausage and the orange juice was horrible. I couldn't tell if it just tasted bad or it was sour. The scrambled eggs were great, which I'm not usually a fan of eggs but these were cooked perfectly. The English muffin was fine and the grits were alright but bland. Definitely not worth the price. We went in on Father's Day, and naturally, it was packed. I worried it would take forever to get our food, but they were actually very fast. It is very casual, and honestly walking in I thought it was going to be mediocre, but wow, the food was so good! This place is utterly chaotic. Their "seat yourself" policy simply doesn't work, making table procurement a Hunger Games of sorts. On our first visit we had a horrible time finding a seat and essentially had to stake claim on a table with customers who were still finishing their meal (sorry, guys). However the waffle was excellent and the other food was acceptable. The waiter was nice and apologetic, although the service itself wasn't great. On our second visit we had a much easier time locating a table, however the 4-5 empty tables were all dirty. We located the cleanest of these and stood beside it for several minutes without being greeted or having any employee acknowledge us. I eventually walked into the server area, located a rag, and cleaned the table myself (ew). The waitress came and took our order and upon delivery I requested an additional plate to remove the grits. At some point during my attempt to force down the worst omelette I have ever tasted the grits were removed from the table. Apparently someone felt I didn't want them. We will definitely not be returning to this restaurant. Bottom line: Don't visit if they are busy, avoid the omelettes, and guard your food prison-style. read more

We found this place googling breakfast. This was a hidden gem. Small but great food and great portions for price. I was impressed by the size and flavor. I had the chicken and waffles and the chicken was huge and I had the strips not wings. The next time I had the pancakes and turkey sausage which was juicy and great. They are friendly and even had curtains to separate booths due to covid and had sanitizer at the entry ! I went twice in one week not living here. Recommend coming here to others read more

First-time visitor and I must admit, I was not expecting the variety of their menu items. I was guilty of thinking it was a breakfast specialty restaurant and wow was I surprised. Shrimp, steaks, burgers, pretty much enough variety that there will be something for everyone. With that said, yes, the omelets are amazing, the pancakes are huge and the waitress staff was some of the best I've had in Hinesville. So my husband and I went here this morning for the first time in years after just relocating back to the area and let's just say we won't be back. First we understood it was busy and gave them a chance to catch us and get to us. However when we finally got service the waitress wasn't friendly at all . She didn't smile once she looked miserable. Once we got our food it was barley over room temperature which made no sense cause it didn't take long to get it. My waffle was burnt and tasted bitter. It was also bland and the syrup bottle on the table was gross it have butter and syrup all over the top like someone had dumped it in their food and no one cared to clean it off. I also asked for my bacon to extra crispy cause I'm pregnant and wanted to make sure it was cooked well for safety and it wasn't cause it was limp and soggy. My husbands was a little crispier so he traded me. It took forever to get a refill of coffee for my husband and I never got a refill at all on my drink. Watching our waitress while eating we noticed she had to clean off a table near by us and u could tell she extremely unhappy and mad about it. Right as we were leaving my husband noticed that she had been giving all her attention to a table behind us towards the back of the restaurant which is why we hardly got helped. I will not under any circumstances go back and won't recommend to anyone the only decent thing about this place it seems like are prices but no one seemed very friendly which ruined the atmosphere for me. read more

EAT HERE ! This place is awesome. I love their Belgium waffles. Everything else is great as well. There are a lot of variety dishes you can get. I enjoy their breakfast- I am not a burger person so I can not tell you about that first hand, but, a lot of folks love their burgers. Great coffee. I'm giving this please a three star rating for the following reasons: 1. The omelette I ordered was served with a cheap piece of slice cheese instead of shredded. 2. They placed the one pancake I ordered on top of the plastic utensils and syrup inside the container which is unsanitary. 3. The customer service by the cashier was definitely bad. She barely listen to anything I said at first and when she responded to me, I could hardly understand what she was saying due to her doing everything else except listening and paying attention. In addition, another customer walked in after me before closing time to place a small order, and the cashier told the man that they are closed when they were clearly open. To me that's a red flag on customer service especially when lying to a customer just to make your job easier. I came to this restaurant while visiting Fort Stewart for the first time only because of the reviews and the food. However, I feel like the restaurant is definitely overhyped and not worth the price you pay. I mean the pancake is huge but aside from that it's definitely not worth what I paid for. Overall I would say that the food is definitely filling, I couldn't even finish my grits and omelette before getting stuffed.
