My wife and I love fire house. So it's a little disheartening when we constantly get our orders wrong. You order something with nothing on it and you still get something on it or you order a large and comes out as a medium. Even when you say I want a large sub it is still put in as a medium. Check your receipts every time to make sure it's put in right because I can promise you it's not. read more

We try to go to this Greek place but it's dive-thru only so we head across the street for Firehouse Subs. Dining room open w/ no waiting. Smelling good. We order Club on a Sub & Smokehouse Brisket. Friendly customer service goes a long way... Stopped in to grab a quick bite to eat on the way to my son's return-from-deployment ceremony. We wanted to eat somewhere decent with a quick in-and-out experience. We got the quick experience alright along with super efficient and very friendly service. This place has amazing subs!!!!!! It's a bit pricey, which is a why we aren't frequent visitors. We used their delivery option during this trying time. There was an issue with a smaller sub than what we paid for being sent out. When I called to get it fixed, the manager was very friendly and apologized, explaining she accidentally put it in wrong. No worries!! I'm always pleased when problems are easily resolved! If you use delivery.com, be warned, they tend to forget parts of the order. Not much to complain about the food, or in house service however everyone needs to be super careful when ordering online. If you make a mistake and do not insure you select the correct location the Hinesville location WILL NOT HELP YOU FIX IT! Even if you have already paid for the food and it is at a location 30 miles away and you ask the "Hinesville" location to help fix the mistake they say sorry..... Then you contact corporate and ask for their help to get your food but they say it isn't their fault and you are out of the food and cost! Nice way to do business "HINESVILLE FIREHOUSE SUBS"! This was my first visit to Firehouse Subs. The place was clean and the staff greeted me when I walked through the doors. I made a comment that I forgot my glasses and was squinting to read the menu board. The friendly cashier readily pointed out where the takeout menus were so I could get a closer look at the many different subs. I ordered the full size of the Hot Pastrami sub loaded. There was a short wait before my sub was ready and got two chocolate chip cookies to go. I shared the sandwich with my husband and we were both quite content because the sub was very delicious and filling. The cookies were soft the way we like them. My first Firehouse Subs visit, but certain to not be my last. I wasn't quite aware that this was a chain of restaurants, but I'm willing to overlook that. They have a tantalizingly large selection of hot sauces on display, which are rated by relative position on the Scoville scale. As a "Chili Head" I need to evaluate for myself their range, and I look forward to doing so,, as most of their sauces I don't recognize. I had a healthy, lower calorie sandwich and it was delicious (the "Hook and Ladder" lite) I visited during lunch, and they were doing a good business, but everything moved along at a decent pace. I wanted a good sub, and I didn't want Subway, so Firehouse was the next obvious option. I came in here pretty hungry - I was telling myself I was going to grab lunch for the past two hours. I was the only patron when I walked in and two different people greeted me. I really couldn't make up my mind as I was hungry, but not yet hangry, but I had to play it cool and select a sub. The New York Steamer called out. It includes USDA Corned beef brisket and pastrami, melted provolone, deli mustard, mayo, and Italian dressing. No fluffy toppings like veggies; it brings you straight to the meat, and I thoroughly enjoyed it that way. read more

Probably one of the "fast food" restaurants I'll go to here in this town. The sign does warn you service maybe a little longer due to not that many employees. Which I respected but they honestly did an amazing job overall ! My sandwich wasn't super warm like I've had before but it still tasted good! The ladies in the back were very nice as well. If I could give this place ZERO STARS I would. My husband ate here for lunch and we're now sitting with his head over the toilet staring at what he ordered (and before you start judging I am Registered Nurse so I am somewhat qualified to make this assessment). He ordered the "Big Italian" sub from this restaurant at approximately 1:00pm this afternoon. He said that the tomatoes looked "questionable" but he was starving and this restaurant was right outside of the main gate of Ft. Stewart. The sub, he ordered, was the only meal he had eaten today. He came home from work at around 6:00pm complaining of feeling "nauseous and light headed" and he was experiencing severe cramps in his epigastric area. It didn't take long until he was head first, over the toilet, projectile vomiting the contents of the sub from Firehouse. He was food poisoned. Diner beware. I would have expected more from a restaurant located so close to Ft. Stewart. The amount of patronage they receive from military personnel should allow them to have the funds to actually properly handle their food. I mean it's simple, you either handle your food properly or you don't and this is exactly what comes out of that. Absolutely disgusting. Don't eat here. read more

I stopped in this location to get a sandwich. As I look around while I wait, I see that masks are pulled down under the sandwich makers' noses which defeat the purpose for the masks. Several of the associates touch their mask with gloved hands then continue to make sandwiches with the same gloves. One associate even touched an AirPod in the her ear with a gloved hand then proceeded to make sandwiches.The district leader puts her hand under a table to reach for a box then after touching the box proceeds to continue making making sandwiches with the same gloves--Absolutely gross and unsanitary. Why is that the district leader and one of the associate have AirPods in while working anyway? Those are apt to move and need to be repositioned. I asked the associate who was making my sandwich with her mask below her nose if it was my sandwich when she said yes. I responded you can just throw it away because I don't want it, thanks. I left the store without asking for a refund because I was too grossed out by people in food service behaving like this. I called and placed an order for sub tray on Thursday Feb 14th for a family that recently lost a loved one. Called back within the same hour and asked if I could cancel due to other circumstances. I was willing to pay if the order was comeplete. The person who I spoke to was completely off putting and rude towards me and basically hung up on me before I could say thank you. I found this chain a few years ago while visiting family in FL, visited the one in Savannah, and now I can get my fix here in the 'Ville. Always great food, friendly employees and clean restaurant. My go to is always the Beef Brisket & Cheddar. Their Datil Pepper Hot Sauce makes a great ingredient for meatballs or smokies for game day or get together - just mix with some BBQ sauce. The brisket sub is soo good! I'm not a big meat eater so I was surprised that I crave it so often! I'd recommend the bacon turkey Ranch as well! We're definitely going to miss their subs when we move out of GA!
