WORST WALMART EVERRRRRR AND IVE BEEN TO ALOT OF CRAPPY WALMARTS. I get pissed off just going here but there are almost no other options in Hinesville for certain things that you need to buy. -HORRIBLE organization.Everything thrown around. Mislabeled or not labeled at all, wrong prices on products. $47 for a pack of 20 plastic hangers that popped up on the register as a "filing cabinet". -VERY narrow isles that intersect in the dumbest ways. They change everything around every time I go and there is no consistency or rhyme or reason to any of it. -workers don't even know where stuff is because they focus more on moving stuff around constantly then actually organizing the products on shelves. They expect you to move over for them if they are passing by. Not very friendly. -almost never stocked well with basic items -AC doesn't seem to always work. I'm always in there sweating. -I've never seen a more horrible baby section. If you have or are expecting a baby, you won't find what you need, everything is thrown around or stacked on top of each other or just all squished next to each other in no apparent order. -Garden section is almost non-existent. Cant get basic garden or outdoor items, constant empty shelves and now it's worse because they put Christmas stuff out instead. Their plant section was the worst I've seen, display patio furniture in crappy condition, the stuff in boxes are ruined from being out in the rain uncovered. -I went to the paint section, had to wait 1 HOUR. AFTER THEY CALLED THE PAINT ASSOCIATE 8 DIFFERENT TIMES OVER THE INTERCOM, and even talked to a manager, to finally get one gallon of paint. There was no sign saying what time they'd be back at all. The lady walks up casually and basically says that she heard them calling over the speakers but she was "on her lunch break". FOR AN HOUR. And they don't even have anyone to take over while she was gone. Whoever is in charge of this Walmart honestly should be fired. Talk about zero pride in your work. If you like NEVER finding what you need, spending lots of time walking around in circles looking for basic items, having to constantly bump into or squeeze around tons of people because the isles are WAY too close together, and wasting your time and having a stressful experience every time you go in, and getting zero actual help from the employees because they are just as lost or don't care, then this is the perfect Walmart for you!! read more

I'm back again to leave another 0 star review. I ordered pet food to be delivered so I didn't have to go to the store after work. I ordered a specific brand that my dog eats and they delivered a completely different dog food. I called the pickup and delivery line and the guy sounded like he didn't care and clearly wasn't listening when I explained my issue. I was told I had to go to Walmart to sort it out. Do not take your vehicle for maintenance at this Walmart! They put the incorrect oil in my Yukon. I asked for a certain brand and asked for a certain kind of oil. They did not tell me that they only used one synthetic oil. My husband caught them putting a different synthetic oil in my car and a mechanic told my husband that is the only one they use. He went to tell the customer service representative and the manager that that he didn't ask for that synthetic oil. But they didn't tell him up front they don't offer that synthetic oil. This is one of the nicest Walmart ' s I have been to. At times it's quiet and sometimes very busy. It's open 24 hours, the pharmacy is pretty good and once I ordered lawn furniture and sent it back to New York. You can food shop, even buy patterns for sewing. Nice selection for fruits and vegetables. I don't get dizzy and faint like I do when in New York, so they have earned big brownie points right there. But, while there I could not resist picking up a few things for BJ, the newest addition to our family. I think he will be very happy, especially with the bed because I spent the night with his paws in my back . read more

I went to purchase an Apple I watch from the electronics section. I looked at the displays and prices. The particular watch I came for was priced at $429 (44mm, WiFi+gps) on the display. I went to the counter and asked if they had this watch in stock. The heavy set lady who wore a fanny pack said yes. I asked her how much it was and she said it was $529. I told her that that wasn't what the display said. She rolled her eyes and walked away to get the keys to unlock the cage to scan one. She confirmed what I said and it rang up as $429. Her customer service was horrible and I did not feel welcome. I left and purchased the same Apple Watch off of the Best Buy website. I won't be spending any money at this Walmart again. read more

on average this is a horrible walmart the customer service is so bad. if you even look like you're about to ask an employee a question, they look the other way or act like they are busy. and when you do ask a question they act like you are bothering them some are even rude. the store manager along with two thirds of the employees should be fired or at the very least re-trained . i will leave one third because some employees are very nice and helpful, but i attribute that to their upbringing not walmart's training. half of the time you have to ask a shelf stocker to excuse you so you can get to an item on the shelf . walmart has crammed these isles so close together that people can barely pass each other or turn a round in the isle. its like driving a car, you have to do a 3 point turn to go the other way, or back out. the check out lines are (WOW) i don't even want to get started those except to say loooong read more

This Walmart is the worst Walmart I've been to in a long while. I went to this store around 10:00pm on Saturday, July 3rd. Mine you this store closes at 11:00pm and lines were literally across the isles. Reason being they had about 3 maybe 4 registers open, none of the self check out lanes were open and I tried to check out in electronics and the associate back there had closed the register. I have never gone to a Walmart and self check was close due to not having enough cash for the registers. Most Walmarts will let you use self check. The associate will let the customer know the self check is taking cards only. Whoever is managing this Walmart needs immediate training or be retrained. Wal-Mart, you and I have a love hate relationship. I frequent you as much as I can stand (which hasn't been a lot) because you have what I need at times. BUT this past Sunday (9/11/11) was TERRIBLE! There were bugs, yes that's right, bugs, INSIDE a SEALED package of donuts that they make on site. And the worst thing is, when I tried to hand the package discretely to a worker, she said in a LOUD voice that she didn't know how to handle that and I had to take it elsewhere. 1. I generally do not go to the supercenter due to the neighborhood walmart around town. I was in need of a TV upgrade due to my old one was starting to act up. I went looking at the selection, not much to select from but I did see a 70" LG that I would be happy with. Had to chase down an associate to help me, had asked if they actually had a roll out cart to used for oversized items. They did not. I was told to get a regular shopping cart. I asked him that if I did that would he help load up onto cart, which he did that, and then help me take it to my truck due to that I do not feel that it is safe to do in that firm of carrying so that I would not be held liable for damage property. He said sure. So once we loaded in cart and I paid for the TV in the entertainment center ovation. I was standing there waiting for his assistance and he then said that he cannot leave that location. So I asked if there is anyone that can help he said go up front and someone should be able to help. Now this is the part that I did not mention is that I have preexisting condition with my back and other things go. So I am wheeling this cart with a awkward load to the front and seen the lady that checks your receipt to make sure you purchased what is in your cart. I then asked her if there is someone that can help me load this onto my truck due to my back. She said I don't see anyone out there getting carts so no sorry. Mind you they do carry walkie talkies on them that they can ask for assistance when needed. So I hauled it to the truck, .y wife is not very strong and I had to climb into the back of my truck and pick up and drag into truck and lay it down carefully. I have been in customer service for over 15 years and I have never seen such sorry customer service from a very well known big branch store such as walmart. I've for the longest time only gone to walmart stores out of a lack of any other place to acquire things I have to have. Since I've been in this area.. I have managed to bypass this location for months at a time. Recently I have decided to boycott the entire line of stores altogether and simply either go without, have another local store order an item for me and pay them more, or simply drive a bit farther and get the stuff I need from a store that treats their employees better. Lines are excessively long, while supervisors stand and watch. Nothing is done to correct the situation. Employees stock the shelves and do not move while customers are shopping. Had a bad experience in the Toy department over the weekend. I didnt know that my grandson had taken a chair off the shelf. Hey, it's kinda like a free workout. I HATE Walmart, however, Target is 40 minutes away & I don't want to have to drive into Savannah every time I need just a couple things. Karl not only came out to my car to measure my wipers (since they were not listed in the book), but because there was a long wait with several cars ahead of me, he went ahead and replaced them himself and I didn't have to wait at all. I was highly disappointed in the pharmacy at the supercenter in Hinesville, I've been using this pharmacy for two years and i don't what or who made the changes to the pharmacy operational procedures but I still feel that customer care and service should be a top priority. little over a month ago i went to Walmart pharmacy to pick up my refill on my prescriptions and notice that one of my medications had change from a generic brand to another generic brand; well, when i had my doctors visit my major complaint was about his new medication that Walmart pharmacy took it upon themselves to give me without explaining to me that this was another brand to a generic brand i was already receiving. I told my doctor i experience severe weight gain and leg cramps and she notice the difference from my last visit. she also informed me that my prescription was for levothyroxine and not the generic brand to levothyroxine called Euthyrox. This brand causes leg cramps, heart attacks, weight gain etc. but this was explain to me at the window when picking up my prescription and it was told to me why the change in my prescription. I felt this was unfair to me because the medication given to me was going into my body and it was like i don't have health insurance; i wasn't given an option Walmart pharmacy staff made the decision for me and my physician without being informative of the change in my prescription. i can see now that it's time for a change in where i get my prescription filled because if no one else care about my life i do and i can careless about them pushing off a generic brand, it should be the person who taking the medication if their health insurance covers it and if they want to pay a co-pay. If you live in Hinesville you really don't have a choice where to shop, unless you want to drive 45 minutes to savannah! We usually buy half our groceries here and the basics at the commissary on post. the grocery area is pretty well stocked and they honor prices you find online so you know you'll be getting the right price. The only issue I have here is with the McDonald's, I know it's a convenient location, however standing in line for 15 min with only 2 other patrons, and then not being helped (I guess I was invisible that day!) was the last straw, did I mention they've never got my order right?? I really dislike this Walmart. I've actually never had a negative experience or interaction here. My issue is with the parking lot and how it is situated. The lot is very small in comparison to other Walmart stores. If there were an emergency, you'd be better off taking off on foot and leaving your car. Getting in and out of this place can be quite a hassle unless shopping early or late. Avoid if you can unless you have a ton of patience. read more
