I am not from the area and stopped by TJ Maxx during my visit. While browsing, I came across a gorgeous beautiful top that I absolutely loved but I was disappointed to find it had a small hole in it. That is when Meera stepped in. She took the time to look at the fabric, worked her magic, and was able to move the material around to fix the hole. It made me so happy because I had been loving that top from the moment I saw it and she found a perfect solution. The rest of the staff was just as kind and accommodating. One of the girls even went out of her way to search the store for another top in the same style just in case. The store itself was very clean, well organized, and a pleasure to shop in. I enjoyed my time here so much that I felt compelled to leave this review. Meera's exceptional service along with the friendliness of the entire team turned what could have been a disappointing shopping moment into a wonderful experience. This location always seems to have a very nice variety of items. I have noticed they now offer a high end brand of purses instead of the general Michael Kors, Calvin Klein or Steve Madden. The store is usually pretty clean and well kept. I recommend going earlier in the week before the items are picked over. I always leave with at least a few items! read more

This T.J. Maxx can be hit or miss. I will say, they typically do a great job keeping the store stocked - even around the holidays. It's not a large store. They have ~3 rows of purses, a small jewelry counter and a small show section. No higher end display case. What I'm not a huge fan of is that they're constantly changing the size of their departments. For example, last month they had 3 aisles of pet supplies. Today, they had barely one full row. It's a plus that they're always changing their inventory, but it makes it hard when you're relying on the store to be a little more consistent with what they carry. read more

Worst experience ever. I'm visiting this area for military training and found some protein powder and a shaker. The shaker was priced on the front and when I went to check out the young lady said it's mistagged and said there's a tag on the side. I asked how much did that tag say and it was the "original" price. She then said they usually give it for the lower price since it was mistagged but she went and got the manager. The manager looked at me and said she would go see if there were more shakers to check the price. She then returned back with the bottle and the mistagged price removed and asked me if I still wanted it. I told them I no longer wanted it just for the principle. I did not mistag the item and should not have to pay a price that was on the side of the item when they mistagged it on the front. Very dissatisfied with their customer service and feel racially discriminated against when I am here to serve my country but this is how I get treated. read more

This is the most stocked TJ Maxx I have ever seen. All of the shelves are always full of stuff no matter what aisle you go down. They have a little bit of everything here. Decorations, bed & bath items, clothes, jewelry, small furniture, strange snack foods. This is store is clean and organized for the most part and very busy. This store is in a little strip mall location so there are other competitive stores right near it like Ross and Kirkland's. There are also a lot of restaurants in the area for a full day of shopping if you are into that. It's a good area and you are a short distance from the Tanger Outlets. read more

I love stopping at every T.J. Maxx I see. I never know what type of deal I may stumble upon. This store is organized. This location has a great selection of women's jewelry and watches. I saw I watched I liked. Now I regret not getting it because I haven't been able to find it at any other locations. I always check out the clearance items in the beauty department--you can find some great deals on items that may have a little packaging defect. Halloween is right around the corner and that can be seen in all the themed candles, mugs, kitchenware, home decor, etc. This store is located in a busy area/plaza so I can see how things could get congested. read more

T J Maxx is always a great place to shop when you have a list of people to shop for with very little time to do it. This T J Maxx is a typical store. It even follows the typical TJMaxx floorplan. To the left of the entrance is luggage and purses, then jewelry, then makeup, shoes. Home goods are on the back wall, men's is to the far right, and women's/juniors in the middle. If you are a make-up lover or newbie stop by the make-up area you are bound to find something nice. Overall this store deserves a B. The store is large, great items for a discounted price, and great makeup selection. Pitfalls, the store is crowded and during the holiday season more unorganized than usual. read more

This T.J. max is great. It always has a great selection and is in an even better area. It's near other competitor stores like Ross so you have some selection which is nice. Our entire time in the store I didn't run into one employee but I wouldn't say that's unusual for a discount store like this. The store was well organized and the bathroom was clean. The parking lot is shared with multiple stores so it's not hard to get a spot. read more

Came in here to buy a cooler for our road trip home. Not a bad Maxx at all but full of snooty people. It's also super crowded with stuff, which makes walking around extra annoying. It also seemed like the prices were high, which is odd for a Maxx. I figured they were all priced roughly the same. Anyway, jam packed, full of snooty people. Enter if you dare. Ha! read more

Terrible! Worst TJ Maxx I've ever been to! Bad customer service by Steven C. Tried to buy a bathing suit. When I went to check out the manager Steve told me that I could not purchase it because the bottoms were missing. So after 20 minutes of looking for the bottoms that they never found, he told me I still could not purchase the just the top! I was willing to pay the full price for only half the suit!! He said it has to sit in the store for 7 days before I can purchase! On top of all that time wasted he was completely Rude! And couldn't be bothered! read more

Well apparently they've got the gender police at this TJMaxx. Wouldn't allow me into the women's changing room with my friend because I didn't look feminine/female enough. Wouldn't even allow us to use a "family" dressing room together--she told me that's only for mothers and children. So they have no gender neutral option and won't let you go into a changing room unless you fit into their box of what a particular gender is. Thanks for the discrimination, TJ Maxx! read more
