Hi Everyone, What do we all hate to part with always? Money! Why? Because most of us needed it constantly in our American driven consumer (you & me) economy, daily. Ya know, the more the merrier, lol. What do most of us enjoy receiving? Value! Why? Because some of the time, it is in very short supply. Ergo, the American driven consumer (BtF, or Built to Fail) economy. But where can we consistently find value for less money? Ya know, like giving up less of what we don't want to part with (i.e. money) and more of what many of us enjoy receiving (e.g. value)? Walmart in Pooler GA, that's where. Yes, I realize that some of our experiences with Walmart may not have always been stellar. However, this is a FANTASTIC deal! What? Go on with your bad self! I'm here to tell ya, if you need tires, and want an outstanding installation, and if you are a Walmart + member, free lifetime (the tire, not yours) rotation, and balancing while receiving a very highly rated set of Goodyear Reliant All Season radials (low rolling resistance, quiet, good dry, wet traction, and light snow control, yea that one!) with a 65K mile warranty then Walmart in Pooler, GA be the place. How do I know? This is the tragic part of the this story, tears optional. Our Hybrid Avalon needed a new set of tires. Followed by, only two weeks later, our Prius needing three new tires because our only four year old set of Michelin Defenders which cost $928.00 complete w/tax and installation were starting to dry rot with only 28,000 miles on them and 7/32's tread left on them. Man, that's a lot of tread left! Yea, you're right! This is the same set of Michelin tires which had one tire blow out last April 2025 on Route 17 N outside Charleston, SC when I was driving to an Emergency room for treatment. Yea, and they only had about 23,000 miles on them then. What? Yep! Total cost of seven new tires installed w/lifetime balancing & rotation (Yea, Plus Member) $952.00 including tax. What, no way! Yea way, all day! But how was your customer service experience? Outstanding! Ben who checked me in was respectful. Kelsey who did the work on our Prius was very friendly, efficient and very polite. I have forgotten the Gentleman's name (I apologize), who installed our Avalon ties but he was terrific as well. And hey, I had a new experience at this Walmart in Pooler, GA Automotive department as they actually answer the telephone! Rare, I know, but they do. So let's add this up. 1. Seven Goodyear Reliant tires for about the cost of four Michelin Defender tires. 2. Good, competitive product, rated very close to the same quality based on performance. 3. Good customer service. 4. Installation time the same with appointment. 5. Five percent cash back on all Walmart purchases with Walmart One Pay CC, free lifetime tire rotation and balancing, Paramount + or Peacock subscription for free for a year as a Walmart + member. 5. And if these tires show dry rot in four years (Please Lord no), I certainly will feel a little better having paid very close to half the price! Conclusion: Yea, I'm good to go! Try calling the store! No answer ever. I have had an issue ongoing for several weeks and cannot get an appropriate response. All i want is an answer why absolutely no frozen food is in stock for over a month when ordering on-line. I talked to some at customer service (national not local) and was told 10 days ago it would be resolved in a week. My last trip to Walmart was to do a pickup. The location for pickup is awkward to get into, and it takes forever to get your stuff out to the car. I give 2 stars because they were able to quickly fix one issue where they grabbed the wrong food item from what I had originally ordered and said not to substitute. We parked in our RV at 9am and we were approached immediately by Ashley who started the conversation with "we don't allow RVs to park here" and when my husband told her he was an 100% disabled veteran, she got angry and said "I would never start a conversation like that", and added "I'm a disabled veteran too". Aggressive and defensive, unapologetic and rude. Instead she should had started the conversation with "welcome to Walmart, I'm just here to let you know RVs are not allowed overnight in the parking lot but you are welcome to park here while you shop, I'm sorry for the inconvenience " She said the store manager , Pedro Fígaroa is making her talk to all RVs who park at Walmart because some of them stay overnight. This Walmart needs new management because they have no idea what being professional means. We were just stopping to buy some items and then head on but we ended up not shopping there and if you drive an RV we recommend not shopping there either. NO RVs allowed at this Walmart overnight - BUT you will get approached even if you're there for a minute. read more

I usually always try to write reviews for any establishment that I have to make a purchase with money. With that said, I came to this Walmart in Pooler, Georgia without checking in on the Yelp app, but made a purchase anyway. I tend to do that sometimes, but it is what it is. With that said, I arrived here near Savannah, GA to a place called Pooler, which is just outside Savannah around 12:30pm local time. My friend from North Carolina always comes here to pick up supplies whenever she's down in this part of the state. So we needed supplies before heading north. It's a Walmart, the place where they try to be everything to everyone. With a sizable grocery section to a clothing section and a technology section, with automotive and home wares too, and everything else in between. My time spent here in this Walmart was just under 30 minutes, which is kind of short for most trips to Walmart anyway for me. I just had a few things on the list and I got them quite fast. I even had a shopping cart with me as I breezed thru the aisles looking for my stuff. This Walmart is as large as it other locations. Plenty of space for numerous products on its shelves. I usually think of Walmart when I shop because it tends to be one of the places where you can get a pretty good deal on everyday items and food too. It's simply Walmart so you know whatever. Best time to come is when you know it is the time versus night time. Just because there's no windows in the Walmart so you can't harvest night or day actually unless you look at your watch. It's weird. The other experience here at this Walmart in Pooler, Georgia was typical and good, will be in casual at the same time. It is basically self service, unless you are needing help with some stuff or getting stuff off the shelf. It was nice that I got help when I needed something. This time around, it was purchasing something that needed to be unlocked from a glass case. I had to wait till I flagged someone down, but luckily, I found a Walmart associate who had a set of keys, instead of waiting more to get someone else who had access to the keys. While my experience here was self shopping, it was cool to have employees roaming around to help whoever needs it, like myself while I was here. While I was waiting for someone to open the glass case, I looked at the guns literally next door and thought about owning one someday. I ended up purchasing a few more things that day, including food products and some snacks for the rest of the day. Thankful for the Walmart associate who happened to be there at the time, so I didn't have to keep my friend waiting around for my purchase. It's typical Walmart for an ambiance, to be honest. You get in and get out without much effort. Shopping at Walmart tends to be the one stop shop for all your daily essentials, which obviously they strive to be that everyday. And so, if you are in the area and need stuff, come on by. This Walmart is located at 160 Pooler Parkway, in Pooler, Georgia. It's right outside Savannah, which explains alot of T-shirts that said Savannah inside the store. D'oh. They accept major credit cards, which is always a good thing, as well as cash. As far as parking goes, they have a very generous parking lot, that's co-anchored with Home Depot. Didn't see much of the other stores in the clique, but they're there. Come early enough to secure a parking spot. As far as public transportation goes, I'm not sure about that. Best thing to do is to drive or take an Uber / Lyft for your shopping needs. I will say that Walmart carries alot of stuff that you may or may not need. At least it's there for when you need it, especially household items you need seasonally. Stopped in here from the road before checking in to our hotel for things that we forgot. The store was very well stocked and busy! Everyone was getting their SB stuff, I guess. We were in and out. I was pleasantly surprised by this store as they were conscientious in taking safety protocols. Announcements encouraged shoppers to maintain social distancing, there were two greeters wiping down carts, hand wipes were available, and clerks wore face masks. Shelves were well stocked and aisles were well spaced. The staff were doing their jobs, and I was able to stock up without worrying about other shoppers. I read complaints about customer service, but I did not run into any issues. A draw back, as with other stores in this location, is the traffic. Great service in the automotive section and the overall store. The automotive work was done in less than 30 minutes after they (Rob and Rosario) started the work. All regular grocery items and electronic items I needed were in stock as well. I can't really complain, as it was a pretty good experience for a Sunday. read more

I can't stand dealing with Wal-Mart as a whole. You can never get the information you need when you ask for it and there is always a bunch of red tape. Today I went to pick up money that was sent to me. When I first showed up it was a little after 9. The money center was not open yet. I asked what time do they open. It took 3 associates before I got my question answered. The answer is 10Am. I came back at 11am. I had forgotten my receive code. What do you think Walmart told me? "they can no longer look up by name. " I could have killed someone. That was ridiculous to me. But I made a phone call and got the code. My issue with this is the inconvenience this caused. Luckily for me the money I was receiving was a loan that was being paid back to me. If I were actually in need of financial assistance today would have really upset me. When I showed up the girl immediately told me she was not able to pull up Western union transactions. Lucky for me I was using Walmart to Walmart. Poor, poor, very poor excuse if a store. Homeless camps are better organized than this store! Unclean, unkept, dirty store. Disgusting! Employees don't care. Shelves are near empty. Saying the store is horrible is a nice compliment. Store managers are non existent and do not know how to keep departments orderly, clean and safe. The left over stocking from empty boxes are left torn and strewn on floor in aisles leaving a trip hazard plus making it difficult to get to products! Ha! What products! Nearly out of everything. I can see a law suit happening at this location soon, if the employees would give a rats ass and clean up this junk hole of a store! It might survive. Wish I could give zero stars. I have used Walmart curbside at 5 different locat in 3 states and always had a good experience. This one was awful. Waited 45 minutes for my order to come out. Ice cream was soft, butter melted and I am afraid to use the sour cream in case it was warm for too long. Every time I inquired about my order the answer was mumbled and I didn't know what the kids said. Inside the store the shelves are half-empty and employees have no idea when they might be restocked. This Walmart is & has been the worst in years. The people that work there have bad attitudes, they act like are being bothered when asked for anything. If it wasn't for self check out you would never get to check out because no one is ever at a register. When this Walmart first opened they were way better than they are now. They had a better staff the store was fully stocked, & the store was always clean 15yrs ago. The staff now sucks and the website is badly organized. the store part is connected to the website side and it really sucks. I pay for the delivery but at least Amazon cuts the price when you are on benefits, Walmart does not care. This location was right near our hotel. We stayed at the airport Hilton Garden Inn. I'd say its walking distance, but it sorta isnt once you see the layout and have to cross a highway. I only needed shaving cream, razors and bobby pins. I thought the cost of razors way to expensive for Walmart, but guess they don't really set the price..but almost $5 for one razor was a lot, and there was a 2 pack in the travel bin for for $2.99 for the generic Walmart brand. I went in about 2am and the staff that was on hand was mostly doing stocking task, but still seemed friendly. There were multiple registers open at 2am also. Its Walmart. We have recently moved to Pooler Georgia from Denver, Colorado. I had To pick up a few things from this Walmart and I have to say it is completely disgusting the shelves are partially empty, extremely disorganized organized. Clothes are all over the floor, food shelfes half empty, palates of products in the middle of the aisle, It appears they don't have staffing or just don't care about keeping the store organized and clean. As a result of Management not caring about cleanliness and over all store organization will be taking my business to Target and Publix. read more

The majority of employees have no knowledge of where items are in their own store. You can ask where an item is, and they are confused, send you to the wrong place, or tell you they do t know. This has happened in camping, housewares, grocery and electronics. It is not one department it is store wide. So are bad attitudes. The attitudes and lack of knowledge were prior to COVID and also current. Staff aren't friendly. Store doesn't have a lot of stock no matter when you are shopping. They do have toilet paper and paper towels. read more

It's Walmart- and I've heard some people say it's one of the busiest ones in the country. The selection of items is the same as any other store- but the customer service is usually bad. The workers at the returns desk are always slow, and there's usually only one open. The checkout lanes are no better. Always slow. This Walmart is located near the airport and i-95. Great place to pick up personal care items and everything in between. The accessory section is worth looking at. I found some really cute fashion jewelry on sale. Some necklaces were priced at $3. That's a steal! The lines were long , so I checked out in the Garden Center. Great location. read more

They definitely need New Management!!!! They never have enough registers open. I went there today and at 9:30 am there is only one register open and it had a problem. So nobody was going anywhere anytime soon. They should at least have two registers open at ALL TIMES!!!! Also this Walmart does not keep up with their inventory. Shelves are bare people! Since the remodel there is nothing to separate orders at the register. There is one rack of boy's pajamas; lots of small sizes but nothing above an 8. Shoe selection for boys is heinous. I'm not sure what they added but it is obvious what has been scaled back. The selection is poor. I was hoping for improvement but that didn't happen. Trying to check out at 19:30 there were 2 registers open. Do better. Update! Went to the Montgomery Crossroad Walmart today and they had everything!! The team members were all super nice and helpful. I made my first Walmart delivery order today. I placed my order at 10:18 am for it to be delivered between 6-7 at night. I received an e-mail at 6:57 that my delivery was being prepared and I figured they were just running a bit late. Not a big deal. I ended up waiting until roughly 8:30 pm with no groceries before calling the help desk number listed at the bottom of the "your order is being prepared e-mail". The hold was not too long but when I finally got someone on the line they told me that the driver cancelled the pickup of my groceries and they were not able to get another driver, so that I needed to reorder my groceries tomorrow. No notification was received telling me that there was an issue with my order. When I asked to speak to a supervisor they said "they're actually very busy right now". I then asked for the supervisor to call me back and they said "I send send that request over to them but I can't guarantee they will actually call back" I then called the store itself and spoke to a supervisor, Richard, who said that I was roughly the 6th person that called about not receiving their groceries today. When asked if there was anything he could do to assist with this inconvenience or fix this problem he just said "unfortunately, no" and blamed it on the delivery service used by Walmart. To summarize- do not order from this store. They notified me that my order was being prepared and never said anything about it being cancelled and I am still left without a resolution. I will definitely be sticking with Aldi from now on. read more
