This is one store that I could spend unlimited hours and unlimited dollars in! Between combing through the clothes racks, searching for treasures in the home goods section, and obsessing over really long noodles that I really want but don't really need, and the list goes on for other impulse purchases. TJ Maxx is my first stop when I'm in need of a new shirt, socks, home good accessories, and a specific seasoning blend that I like. In my last visit I picked up some new pots to up-plant a few house plants that had outgrown their existing pot. They worked out perfectly and have me wishing that I had bought more! The check-out line can get long but they try to monitor it and will call for more assistance if needed. Super busy location, especially the week of Christmas. The line was wrapped around the store. We waited about 20 minutes in line for checkout. They do have a great selection of home decor but a little overconsumption of items. The store can be overwhelming. read more

I'm writing this to warn anyone looking for a stable job at this location. Management here is extremely vague about your actual employment status and will hire you and lead you to believe you're a permanent employee, only to let you go about 5 months later and claim you were 'seasonal' the whole time. :// From what I know, they don't explicitly mention a term limit or anything about this during the interview or anything. You put in all those months thinking you have a long term position and they won't even tell you the truth until the day that they plan on firing you. And even though it's not illegal, it's pretty shitty and a really disrespectful move, essentially job-fishing and a word of advice to the management,, be upfront. If a role is seasonal then put it in the job description and say it in the interview, it's the least you could do. read more

I can't believe I TJ Maxx just came on my radar a few years ago. I missed out on years of bargains and cool items. I love to shop here for lotions, candles and throw rugs. I have also started shopping for cat and dog items. The prices are incredible. I don't find a lot of clothes I like here. They have a great handbag and luggage section. I also like to shop towels and kitchen items. It's fun because it is constantly changing. They always have lots of seasonal items. I think it's ideal to shop for gifts because there is so much to choose from. And the best part is it won't break the bank. read more

To quote the famous line from Forest Gump, life is like a box of chocolate you know the rest and if you don't shame on you :-P Anyway it should be TJ Max is like a box of chocolate you have no idea what you'll get in here. Some days they have a ton of stuff others it's like the skeletal remains of a business that's going out of business. You just never know primarily because the staff members have no idea what they'll have because they don't know what will be on their delivery trucks. TJ Maxx is a great one stop shop. It's usually my go to when I need a baby shower gift for a family member or friend. I have visited this store many times over the years and my biggest issue when I go is I always end up with things I didn't know I needed. Haha. It's very easy to be overwhelmed in stores like this, but I find TJ Maxx to be a bit more organized than other discount stores in the area. Lines have gotten considerably longer since the pandemic and I'm sure that is due to a lack of employees. But let's be honest, that's a common theme no matter where you go. I love that they offer both designer brands & not so popular brands. I've purchased luggage, hair cafe, clothing, and purses from here and I'm never disappointed. read more

TJ Maxx is one of my go-to stores. I always like to stop in at everyone I see, in order to see what deals I can find. The layout is this store is a different than I'm used to. It doesn't flow very well. The store is organized and the shelves and racks are full. They offer the typical items--kitchenware, household decor, beauty and bath items, clothes, shoes, and of course seasonal items. This store has a great selection of Christmas merchandise including wrapping paper and gift boxes--which I haven't seen much of at other locations. read more

I've come to the store multiple times and just like any other discount store I always find stuff that I did not know I needed. lol The location of the store is pretty good, it's right down the street from home goods and in the same is parking lot as Ross. Comparing it to other discount stores like HomeGoods Ross Burlington etc. it's pretty normal organization wise. Obviously you're going to have to dig through some stuff to figure out what you want but for the most part it's pretty organized. I genuinely have nothing to negative to say about the store the employees are fine they don't go above and beyond but they're definitely not rude by any means. The store is clean and has bathrooms for the public. They always have a good selection and I always walk out happy. What more could a girl ask for?!? read more

This store was a bit chaotic also. A large amount of customers in there. You would think they were giving stuff away. We bought a fan for Ernie. The check out line was long, but it moved very fast. They had at least four or five Cashiers. The young man who checked us out was very polite, kind and helpful. We were out in no time. read more

I hit the jackpot with the clearance section and a phenomenal manager who helped me return an online order. When I come here, I'm rarely looking for something specific. It's usually a "let me see what I can find" type of trip, and I've had several of those. read more

Returned something at Savannah TJMaxx and the clerk there was an old lady with white hair and possibly the rudest clerk I've ever met. She did not greet me before or after. She told me to "sign" so she "can read it" and I already signed my name by the time she said it where it said "Customer Signature". Then she said "What is this? I said so I can read it." First of all, you don't use that kind of tone to customers. Second, it clearly said "Customer Signature" and I don't see why she needs to be able to read my name when the credit goes back on a gift card. She actually examined my signature twice as if she's never seen a signature before. I'm regular at TJMaxx but I don't think I will be anymore after this. You should train your people better read more

This TJ Maxx is hit or miss. As with most Savannah shops, selection can be limited when compared to TJ Maxx locations in Atlanta that also carry high end designers. Today was a better day and I found a few nice pieces in the Plus Size Dept and Household Dept. read more

I'm going to give this TJ Maxx 2 stars instead of 1 because most of the staff are nice people. But regarding the store as a whole, even after the renovation, it's awful. It has the poorest selection of any TJ Maxx I've ever been to. It's an outlet for MK rejects, if you're into that. I once was told the Savannah location was a "C" store. I'm not sure it's that good. read more

Regardless of what TJ Maxx I love them all and I am a hard sale and a strong critic...But,they always have great finds, management is professional and very courteous. The lines at the TJ Maxx are always pretty long, but the wait is short and the overall experience my favorite store. read more
