Clockwork has been a huge fixture in the Middle Georgia skate scene for years with their Macon…read morelocation, and now they've opened a new location in Savannah which is really logical considering we have three colleges, many high schools, and thus a lot of skaters over here. I was very sad when PlainView closed up, so it's good to see another authentic skate shop open. And the Clockwork Savannah location has the ultra-clean, bright, look and atmosphere of the Macon store plus the same sense of style in its well-curated selection of sneakers--something the Macon store long has been known for, I mean, you here of people trekking down form Atlanta to Macon to cop new sneakers at Clockwork, so they're pretty infamous in that regard. They also have a decent selection of clothing from brands like Diamond, Thrasher, HUF, and now some really sweet tees from Welcome Skateboards. And of course they have lots of decks--including Welcome's great, somewhat odd, throwback vert-looking ones--and skate trucks, wheels, bearings and hardware. Their shoe selection includes Nike SB, adidas, Converse, and Vans for skating plus Asics and Saucony throw-back designs. The staff is really chill and friendly, too. Certainly a big and necessary addition to Savannah's growing youth culture scene--very glad they're here.

She kept apologizing that…read moreshe didn't have much in stock currently in my size in Nikes (I wear a 12 which is about the most in-demand sneaker size so I wasn't surprised her 12s already sold out). The store is fresh, clean, and really chill: just a great experience between Whitney's friendliness and the engaging store design, the shoe-box benches in example, and clear layout. Aside from the expected Jordans, Nike Dunks, and other sneakers she has a selection of shirts and other goods by brands like Supreme, Palace, and Anti-Social Social Club. Whitney herself very accurately noted that shopping in person should be just as much about the overall experience as getting that rare pair of kicks you're seeking and I cannot agree more. As to the other reviewer who left one star and was upset that the store owner asked for documentation of their service animal, ummm, I guess they're either unaware that people buying vests for their random dog online and saying it's a service dog when it's not is a real thing? Or maybe that's their game? It seems perfectly fair to ask for documentation given that people do indeed just buy a vest for their animal when it's only a normal pet and try to abuse the system. The same user has written no other Yelp reviews and obviously just signed up to leave a mean review because they were upset, which unless they're like ten years old is pretty petty. Come here. Whitney's the nicest person. She has good stuff too.

Had an absolutely fantastic experience here!…read more The vibes are impeccable--the store is well-lit and well organized with some beautiful vintage products for all genders. Prices may seem steep, but value for money is incredible given the rarity of some of these vintage pieces. The owner is an absolute delight and gave me a discount on a piece I was interested in when we discovered it was stained. I highly recommend this spot for finding your next showstopper outfit!

Cool spot, cool vibe, cool idea, just not for me. My girlfriend and I popped to Savannah on our way…read moreup from Florida going back home to the 757 (Virginia), and I saw this on a billboard so I yelped it and added it to our list of places we would pop in. It's a small spot with loud music, which kinda was overwhelming, and the people that were working were a bit abrasive. My girlfriend and I both agreed about the one worker being too much in our business- we just wanted to roam around and look, but it kinda made us wanna get out of there quicker than we would have, had we had the time to just look on our own. The person kinda pushed to get us a fitting room, which we didn't need- I was afraid to hold anything up from the rack to look at, because I didn't want a fitting room. They have lots of cool things in there, but also very pricey. $150 for a windbreaker suit? Not today. We went to the shop a couple doors down where they let us free roam and the prices were WAY more reasonable. We were happy to check it out, but would not go visit again. Maybe this is the "Geriatric Millennial" in me, but give me my space to look and on top of that, don't charge over $100 for a windbreaker suit.
