Beautiful shoes in the window caught our eyes, so we entered to try them on. Some prices are really high in the $300-$500 range, so I put those down really quick. Several on the sale rack in the back were still $200 after discount. A few beautiful options were just over $100. Overall, it's not a cheap shoe store. We fell in love with a pair of Jeffrey campbell bow sandals and brought them home. (See picture). The yellow sorel's also caught our eye but didn't fit just right. I loved the jeffrey campbell shoes and couldn't find them available online, so we bought them here. I did hesitate because the shoe salesmen were not the kindest. One said to the other that their time was being wasted and they weren't going to sell a pair of shoes, so the person should be asked to leave. They also used catch phrases to try to get you to buy a shoe. I get it; They're salespeople, but kindness goes a long way. I like to support good business, and if these shoes were available elsewhere, I would've bought them there instead. read more

My friend and I visited this store when we were in Savannah. I love shoes and can afford to buy good ones. However, when I asked if the store carried wide shoes for ladies, a salesperson told me in a condescending way that We specialize in regular and narrow width shoes. Really you specialize in regular width shoes? That's not specializing! He obviously did not want my business. So don't bother with this place if you are a lady with wide feet. read more

This is a store that's great. We were poor and from the south side of Savannah, before Abercorn Extension took our property. We were too poor to purchase my shoes there, but now I can afford them. I am from the ole school where a person measures your foot and tells you what will fit and not fit. Nobody measures your feet any longer, not even Belk. You're on your own, Babes! Please don't go the way of Johnnie Harris' Restaurant. That upset me even though I got to tell off Dr Jules Victor. I will continue to buy just to keep you in business. Just can't say enough nice things about this store and the impeccable service they provide. I went in looking for the holy grail of shoes, a comfortable pair of pumps for work for my increasingly hard to fit feet. Tea found me the perfect pair immediately, offered to have them slightly adjusted for an even better fit, and also had another pair in a different color brought over from their other location. This is what service used to look like and is so incredibly rare in today's world. This will be an annual stop for me when I visit Savannah. Buyer Beware. Unhappy with business practices of owner(s) and employees. I went to the store, since I just moved here and prefer to shop local. BIG MISTAKE. THESE PEOPLE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND TRY TO SLIP EXTRAS INTO THE SALE WITHOUT TELLING YOU THE COST AND THEY REMOVE THE PACKAGING BEFORE YOU LEAVE THE STORE SO THAT YOU CANNOT RETURN THE PRODUCT. They have a whole game going and it stinks. It is very deceptive and they are unreasonable to deal with. I told the clerk I wanted comfortable shoes to support me during pregnancy. I picked out several pairs. Before I even tried on the first pair, the sales clerk (Charlene) said, "Let's start with these," and slipped some inserts into the first pair. The shoes were close to $300 and she treated the inserts like they were basically a gift or if anything, a nominal amount. She continued to go through the shoes I picked, saying how the inserts go from one to another. They didn't have the color shoes I picked in my size, so she said I could pay for them and pick they up at the other store. I did, and they took the inserts out of the box at the register and handed them to me. Within 15 min I arrived at the other store and realized that the shoes I was picking up had too high a heel for me. They exchanged them for me and I bought 2 other pairs. When I got home and looked at my receipt, I realized I had been originally charged over $45 for the inserts AND I WAS NEVER EVER TOLD THAT I WAS BUYING $45 INSERTS. I went back and tried to return them, in original condition, without the box (because they kept it). They refused to take them back because I didn't have the box. I said I wanted the box then, and they refused to give it to me. I'd like to know what I bought, how to use them, instructions, etc. but they wouldn't give me the box to return the inserts, or to have so that I may know what I bought. TOTAL SCAM. It isn't about the money- meh $47 big deal. It is about the tricky business practice. BOTTOM LINE- THEY WOULD RATHER MAKE A SALE THAN MAKE A CUSTOMER. read more

Walking past Globe Shoes I saw a wonderful selection of shoes in the window. Needing one or two pairs of high quality stylish work shoes I was ready to buy. After trying several pairs of shoes, I found a great pair of two tone shoes. As I was trying to decide what other shoes I might buy, I just couldn't get past the rude sales women. She continued to push me to purchase additional shoes, rolling her eyes, with a condescending attitude. I found the Theirry Rabotin shoes that I wanted and they kindly got the next size up brought to this store for me the next day and I ended up with 2 very fine pairs of shoes from them.
