Super embarrassed to admit this, but they totally pulled one over on me. I purchased a Mario Valentino bag from them, thinking it was Valentino Garavani. True, the mistake was due to my own ignorance; however, the bag was steeply marked up and displayed with Louis Vuitton bags in such a way that I feel I was misled into believing it was worth more than it actually was. Lesson learned: do your research before dropping a mint on something you think is luxury. Also, sounds like they're super racist. I can't abide by that. read more

This shop is wonderful! I never write reviews, but I was so impressed by the warmth and friendliness of the staff here. On an overnight trip to Savannah, I popped in to this great little store. Their selection is great, but the staff is amazing. As I browsed great merchandise, I overheard an employee interacting with several customers who she knew by name and saw her sharing family photos with others. She was just so friendly, inviting, and helpful - qualities that are mostly missing from customer service these days. And I found cute clothes to boot. I will definitely be back! read more

Obsessed is an understatement!!! This is without a doubt, a hidden gem. I found out about this place through word of mouth. I'm a huge fan of consignment shopping and when I moved to Savannah I was so worried I wouldn't be able to find any decent consignments- luckily I was told about Designer's Consignment. Parking is free and in a lot. Saturdays are usually pretty busy! I like to get there either early or when the afternoon is winding down. You will always get greeted upon entry. The lady at the front is so sweet and bubbly! She will always tell you the sales. The sales are AMAZING! I've found Zara NWTs, Ralph Lauren NWT, frame denim, black house white market, and other major finds!! It's the best value for your money! All items are in excellent used condition. FINAL VERDICT: this is a MUST if you're looking for some amazing brands for 1/3 of the price. Check it out! You won't be disappointed! read more

My 5-Star rating for Designer's Consignment could EASILY be based on the customer service alone. Let me be more specific...Olivia. Customer Service: I walked in and was warmly greeted by Olivia and given the sale specials for that day/week. I was so taken aback by her bubbly personality that I hardly paid attention! LOL! I had to ask her to repeat herself. She didn't mind at all and reminded me that the specials were posted throughout the store. Everyone and I do mean EVERYONE that came in the store was greeted the same and they all knew Olivia. She happily engaged with them while also making sure other customers were taken care of. She was very attentive. The Selection: Designer's Consignment has a great selection of luxury labels like Chanel and Louis Vuitton and other labels like J. Crew, Ralph Lauren, and Banana Republic. Shoes, clothes, handbags, jewelry, and accessories. There's much to choose from. I purchased a pair of tortoise shell earrings, a pair of emerald rhinestone earrings, a Marisa Christina 100% cashmere turtleneck, a J. Crew lambswool sweater with rhinestones, and a pair of high-rise Joe's jeans for $45.53!!! I'm VERY happy. The Store: Everything is very organized by size and some luxury items by label. The store is very clean and well kept with nice displays. Parking is plentiful. I called the store a day later to get the sales associate's name so I could mention her in my review. GUYS! The person on the other end was so bubbly I KNEW it was her! LOL! We chatted for a bit and she invited me back whenever I visit Savannah again. Really great consignment shop!! They have mostly ladies items, all in very good shape and very reasonable prices. I bought six items and my friend bought seven, so it's obvious how much we liked everything. There was a lot to choose from, and the ladies in the shop were just as nice as could be. I really used to enjoy browsing here, and I would find things on occasion. After the coronavirus lockdown ended, I visited again but had to leave quickly because the employee was not wearing a mask. The virus is spread through respiratory droplets, and she was spreading hers all over the store. It is impossible to stay 6 feet away at the register. I hope the business realizes that everyone needs to wear masks and socially distance in order to reduce virus spread AND to help the economy recover. Verdict: the product is okay, but the service shows a lack of care for clients. read more

Theives! Scammers! I had to give a star to rate. The scam is that you donate your clothes unwittingly to them. They don't pay on anything! I dropped off 46 items and got paid on two items a total of $9.40 they gave me back 10 items and told me the other items were no longer mine. So, they never have to account to anyone for anything. They just say nothing sold. And in TruForm of thieves everything is of course your fault as the consignor. The complicit workers at the shop give you an attitude when you question these things which is a true sign of the guilty. If you truly wish to consign your clothes go to cherry picked on E. Got some fabulous Fendi boots w the box and dust bag...normal price of $895 - I paid $100 for some beautiful leather Fendi boots, may have been worn once. I love the clothes I found at this great shop. Unfortunately I was only visiting Savannah but will come back whenever I'm in the area. The designer brands were definitely there and current in style. My only complaint was that the salesperson kept calling me "sweetheart" and "honey". I know that's a Southern thing, but I'm Southern and don't appreciate it. Anyway, I love the Eileen Fisher and Steve Madden things I found. Thankfully, I don't let YELP reviews drive where I shop.YELP is NOT a friend of small businesses (I own a consignment shop in Charlotte). I rarely make things about color or race, but today I will. Go into this consignment shop, Designer Consignment, and browsing around....was never greeted. The only black in the shop. Every other person, white that is, was greeted and told about their awesome sale. 20,40, 60% percent off. So then I'm followed around. Next best thing for me, I left. As I'm leaving then I'm acknowledged. Money is best somewhere else. I give no stars but in order to leave this review I had too. Dang shame. read more

This place really jerked me around and wasted my precious time. I called and made an appointment to deliver 10 pairs of brand new Ferragamo heels plus 5 designer clothing items along with a full length fur coat in excellent condition. I thought I was sending my recently deceased mother's best things to be enjoyed by someone else going forward, and that the estate might enjoy a small monetary return in the process. On the appointed delivery day, in between three moving van pick-ups and a closing on the sale of her condo, I was running 30 minutes behind, so I called the shop to let them know and asked if I could still deliver the goods. The answer was a reluctant yes (they'd be closing for the day soon) -- but okay because it was my last opportunity to get there. Anyway, I raced over, arrived well before closing, and Olivia, the owner, stepped forward and quite rudely informed me they weren't accepting any more consignments as they were "out of rack space." She refused to even glance at the goods I had hauled in and dismissively advised me that Goodwill was next door. I could have been told that there was zero interest during my first or second phone conversations, and that would have been fine. But to have said "yes" then "no" at what was my last minute, was pretty high-handed and inconsiderate. A Goodwill shopper will no doubt be delighted with some special finds at very excellent prices. I recommend that Savannah women avoid dealing with Designer's Consignment and shop elsewhere. read more

If you want to be treated like your nothing then this is the place to shop. Olivia lied to the owner by the name of Michelle that she didn't give me a extension on my layaway. When I received a call from Michelle 2 emails later she stated that she was standing behind her worker. I took that statement as a consumer, I am a liar. Michelle customer service sucks and she talks to people like they are beneath her. With her attitude and not being accommodating to her customers, I don't see why she is still in business. She said that I was wasting her time on the phone and she had to go pay her insurances. I will never shop at this establishment ever again... So please people don't waste your time or money getting ripped off. Michelle is now sending harassing messages due to this review and if she keeps it up I will contact my attorney. read more

I'm really not understanding the low starring for this establishment. I visited on valentines day weekend and they had an awesome event and sale going on. The manager was there and she was extremely nice and very helpful. We were treated to cupcakes and treats from the bakery next door and extra goodies for shopping on Valentines Day. I scored two handbags both I paid less than $15 for and I even got a little goodie bag filled with Valentine's Day treats and an extra 15 percent off of my purchase. So that was pretty cool! I did not do any consignment so I cannot speak on that experience but I'll definitely be returning when I do another thrifting day. read more
