Came in to find some Black Friday deals. We walked in around 10 pm and by that time the store had been disheveled by manic customers. My boyfriend and I wanted to look at the home goods section (comforters, sheets, towels, etc). As we looked through the different sell options we seen very little deals. Most products from Macy's are great quality but sometime over priced. The prices from the store generally keep me away. Nonetheless, the two blankets we picked up were 10 dollars a piece and pretty good quality. The pots and pans we had an eye on were on sale for approximately 30.00 for an entire set. The pots and pans set wasn't the best quality however for a starter college student or single person household they are something to think about. Overall the store deserves a C+. Macy's always carries high quality products. Pitfalls the store is pricey so make sure you looks for coupons and sales. read more

This Macy's is very scarce and rundown unfortunately. The shelves are barely stocked in certain departments and it's difficult finding any help. I was searching for bedding and the stuff was so limited and picked over. I did have a gentleman ask if we needed help, who was very pleasant. When I did finally need help I could not locate 1 employee on the top floor and no available registers. The didn't seem to have the size available so ultimately I had to take photos so I could purchase the bedding set online, which was also alot cheaper on the website. read more

This store seems to be doing everything to make it an unwelcoming environment for Savannah Citizens. I went shopping there this week, looking for a second evening gown. Which i have purchased here in the past. It took me 15 minutes to find someone. She was very kind. I asked to be shown to women's plus size dresses. She said M'am i am so sorry we no longer carry plus size clothes. Unbelievable. She apologized and said she suggest i shop on line. Perfume department is a joke. I like to shop myself, but had to be reminded " we lock things up because " they" steal you know. No personal shopping assistance anymore. Hubby is buying a suit, no one to be found except one friendly woman that was stuck ringing customers because there were no other eployees around. What a disappointing read more

I've been a fan of Macy's forever it seems. It's the best place for me to find formal wear. They always have a dress that is perfect and the cutest shoes. I also like to shop here for gifts and holiday items. They have an okay selection of home goods including bed and bath. Not tons of selections but usually something I like that is of high quality. I love their sales. This particular location has a mini toys are us in it. Just in time for the holidays. There aren't that many items but it was still fun to walk through and look. The service is good and the store is always clean. read more

Once again, I'm having to seeking out help at Macy's. Online shopping here I come! I found a salesperson to ask about Waterford stemless wines in lingerie, and she left me to search stock. Ten minutes later as I'm leaving because she never came back, I spot the salesperson at a checkout helping other customers. When she saw me, "Oh" she called out, " we didn't have the item you were looking for!" I won't return. read more

Mens clothing section sucks. Just my taste, but serious. I see no one dress like the shirts that are on the racks in here. Not to mention the tons of racks full of clothes this store drags out that has been in moth balls for special sales from time to time. Other items are ok. Serious, Macy's get some better fashion sense. I'd find better looking clothing at @ Defcon. read more

Macy's is SO hit or miss for me. I can usually find some great sales on work and weekend outfits, but you literally have to dig through racks since they stuff them so full! Some of the staff members are friendly, but they aren't overly helpful. I came here last week to find a dress for my college's homecoming. There was a man working in the junior's section who was extremely helpful and friendly. I had him hold a couple of items that I wanted to purchase later. When I returned, there was a woman behind the counter who was watching videos and chatting on her phone. One of the dresses that was on the clearance rack rang up as full price. When I told her I found it in the sale section she said, "k" and changed it. Maybe she was just having a bad day. All in all, this is just your standard big box department store. Nothing fancy, but you might find some good deals if you're willing to search a little. I did find a few cute dresses and some tops on sale while I was there! I'll be back to try my luck again in the future. read more

I really wanna like Macy's for customer service but I've only been happy with the service at Daytona and Altamonte Springs. I prefer to shop online as reading the written thank you are better than actual people ignoring you as if they don't need your money doesn't employ them. Oglethorpe mall is the worst. I must say I've gone back after a 1 1/2 year absence thinking it would better. But I think I'll just stick with Nordstrom. Sorry, I've given you 4 chances. I've been more than fair. read more

I usually really do not enjoy shopping at department stores. They are usually crowded and over priced. This Macy's is a different experience though! Every single time we come here the staff are SO friendly to us. They are always so nice, offer suggestions, help us get great deals and help us find what we are looking for!! If you need to find a gift for someone, pick up a few outfit or two, or just want to go shopping, definitely go to this Macy's! The customer service experience is wonderful!!! read more

Coming from the Bay Area, I'm a big fan of Macy's as they're everywhere. Being new to the area I was in need of a dining room table for the holidays. Since this store is an hour away from me I decided to call them directly to place my order as I had several questions. I had the pleasure of working with Scott in the mattress dept.. He was great at helping with the transaction and helping me choose the right set for my needs. I also mentioned that I needed the table for Christmas dinner and the sooner I received it the better. He was very helpful and professional and advised he would keep me posted on a delivery date since it was going to take 4 weeks to deliver. His customer service was beyond my expectations and because of this Macy's is one of the reasons we continue to buy furniture from them. Excellent service as always. Thank you, Scott :-) read more

This Macys has a nice selection and offers great sales. It's a little over an hour's drive from Hilton Head.

Meh, just another mall department store with too much perfume/cologne samples in the air. The place is clean and bright. Just browsed through the store on a mission to find a bathing suit, both the clerk who directed me to the swimsuit area & the one who worked in that particular area were very nice. read more

As Macy have the return label when we buy anything so no need to give the reason to the customer service about return things but though I told her that this dress I bought it....is not fitting me bcoz I have side fat even though she told me that "why u pregnant?" She cannot ask me such question and also she asked me this thing with so much attitude. I m 22 year old girl and she cannot see my stomach really... ? But actually she was talking on the phone that she was about to leave within 30 min bcoz she is hungry.... but u r hungry that doesn't mean that u angry on customer. I never expect this from Macy's but this is the truth. I haven't seen her name but next time I will get it and I will tell her on face that u r giving the worst service and also u r not a good person to take customer. read more

sorry but this macy store needs a serious overhaul. it seems to get worse and worse every time I visit. the plus department is truly bad taste. nothing fashionable, nothing current, does not even carry its own brand INC. so disappointed!!!!! read more
