Dillards is the only department store in Savannah that provides great service, especially for a woman looking for the correct bra. CI CI in that department is specifically trained to assist you. The two gentlemen the women's shoe department were very helpful and found the correct sizes quickly. Forget about Belk! They have no personnel who could help direct you to the right department and when I went there, there were no cashiers in many sections the store. Makes you wonder if they have a problem with theft. read more

Came here with a neighbor as she needed a last minute dress for a wedding. We went to the second floor where the dresses are. As she was trying them on I looked around the home section and they had a nice assortment of bar accessories on sale. I bought a scoop for my ice bucket and a holder for my cocktail napkins. Downstairs as she looked for shoes I found two pairs on sale that I purchased as well. They carry the OOFOS brand of flip flops that I will make a mental note of for the future. Seems they have a nice assortment of items in the store. The sales staff were lovely as most retailers are empty not a lot of shoppers. Dillard's never disappoints, and it's always a pleasure to shop and browse this department store. Also, they have the best ladies formal wear selection in the area at a great value - especially if you happen upon a sale. What Dillards does well to enhance your shopping experience: *There is plenty of room to shop as clothes racks are far apart, and you're able to find what you're looking for quickly. They don't cram a lot of clothing on their displays. *The department store and fitting rooms are kept neatly, clothes quickly returned to displays, and not left on the floor or in fitting rooms. *The sales person took me to an available fitting room and came back to ask if I needed another item/size. I was a customer for over 25 yrs and when I got my new card over a year ago, I didn't change my account number because they have always been the same. I even asked customer service, and they said don't worry. I was paying my complete balance every month with my original acct # for over a year, when they advised me my account was not being paid. I was on the phone with Citibank for over an hour and a half and no one mentioned an acct #. I then found out every payment was sent back to my bank, after three months of going back and forth. I was never late for my payments, but they cancelled my account. They said just get a new one. I was very upset, but I did. They just sent me a letter saying they would not give me a charge card because of my dispute with Citibank. I found out Dillards changed banks from Wells Fargo to Citibank over a year ago and Wells Fargo was sending my payment automatically to Citibank, but stopped 3 months ago! That's why I didn't know it needed to be changed and Dillards told me I did not have to change it! After over 25 years of service, and I was an elite buyer, they kicked me out! read more

Although they were in a place where they were taking in more stock, I appreciate that this is a place where they have nice bedding and bathroom sets that are decorative in elegant taste. The young lady in the bedding department was helpful and kind. I will return to see what new stock they bring in the future. read more

I went to Dillard 's and had some Gift Cards and when I went the Store was steady but not packed, clean and well lit. I was looking around and the Clerk approached me and asked if I needed help and I said I was just looking and she backed off and said if I needed help she'd be at the register. When I was done I went to the register and checked out and we talked a little bit. I liked the way that I didn't have to look for anyone but not overly aggressive either. I don't shop much for clothing and usually wait for gifts but would definitely recommend Dillard 's based on my experience with their Clerks. read more

Stopped in with my mom on a regular Friday night. We generally come to Dillard's because the store has an excellent shoe selection. We walked in briefly and the store already had Christmas decor out. This store is a fairly decent size and the employees are always nice. My mother is more of a frequent shopper than I am and she knows most of the ladies in misses and shoes well. Make sure you come in frequently they have great sells. Overall this store deserves an A-. The store has great sells, awesome merchandise/brands, fairly reasonable prices, and the staff is friendly. Pitfalls this store is older so everything isn't upgraded. read more

Look at this fitting room... it has trash on the floor, and the carpeting is stained all over. Clothes were not put away and left in the stalls. Carpeting does not look like it's been swept in a while. Disappointed as Dilliard's has always been special. read more

After spending all Saturday shopping for a formal dress for the military ball and having NO luck I finally decided to check Dillard's out. Wish I would have stopped here first since I had to pass it to go to the Oglethorpe mall. But after 8 hours of misery it was so nice to finally be in a store where 1- they had formal ball dresses 2- the store was not in complete disarray and lastly 3- here where actually staff willing to help. Once my friend and I stepped foot in here we knew our search would finally be over, I mean we were able to grab an armful of heavy dresses so not only did they have the dress style we needed but there was a great selection. Even when we had stopped at David's bridal who specializes in dresses they came nowhere close to the beauty and selection of what Dillard's carries in store. Now this was my first time shopping here since I'm from the west coast I would say it's very similar if not identical to Nordstrom. Prices are a little higher then for average mall store but trust me here you get quality and service most department stores, especially of this size seem to lack these days. All in all it was a great end to my day and my friend and I both left happy and with a dress for the ball next week. read more

I love this Dillard's and I appreciate that the company keeps it going even though it is probably not one of their best revenue-producing locations. The store is always clean, nicely stocked and the people who work here are always friendly. Since I don't live in the south or midwest, I always enjoy shopping at Dillard's when I am visiting. Savannah is a frequent destination for me, and as a result, so is this store. The men's department is great and the selection of Daniel Cremieux, Visconti and Thomas Dean does not disappoint. The Home Furnishings department is also great here. read more

Staff here helped my wife (has a hard time shopping for herself for work clothes, formal office setting) pick out numerous outfits and styles and basically gave her a ton of ideas and pointers for her body type and desired style. Not every person in the world is a fashion guru, and it was nice frequenting a store where the associates genuinely seemed to know the product they were selling. The help for my wife was very appreciated, and was provided by an associate named...(not sure how to spell it) Keeyana on the Saturday after Black Friday. Dillard's should be proud to have associates like this. I was very happy that she was able to help, me being a guy I have no idea what to suggest to my wife, lol. Thank you Keeyana! And don't be dissuaded by the fact the Dillard's is in savannah mall, it's a very clean, orderly, organized, and nice store with a relaxing helpful environment. I needed to buy a complete formal dress outfit for my mother in law for my son's wedding. My mother in law was not able to come shop. The staff helped me pick out multiple appropriate outfits in her size, including shoes and bags and bring them to her to try on. They asked about her favorite colors, styles etc to make sure she was pleased. They pointed out flattering styles for her age and figure type.They reassured me I could bring everything back that did not fit her. They remembered me when I came back and were very gracious and glad that she was happy. And I was especially happy that had petite formal dresses for me, which are hard to find in stores. Rarely do I go to bricks and mortar stores anymore; and the reason is because of experiences such as the one I had at Dillard's in Savannah Mall. If it had not been for one wonderful young sales associate in cosmetics, who did actually help me, this store would received a -1 star. As if suddenly stuck in the Twilight Zone, the store appeared to be have no employees and almost as few customers in sight on a Sunday afternoon when I came in to pick up an item that I called about earlier (And Isn't Sunday afternoon one of the prime times for mall shopping?) . When I finally spotted someone behind a counter and asked if she could call customer service to have someone come to the cosmetics section, she informed me that I 'could go upstairs and tell customer service that I needed help. ' Really? Not that I object to exercise, but I weigh under 90 pounds as it is and happen to have a lung disease which makes me short of breath even with the normal walking I did across the first floor of an almost empty store in search of someone who could take my money. Now, I need to go to the 2nd floor to ask customer service to find someone and go back to the 1st floor when that person is found so I can actually purchase the item I came in for? Can we blame the consumer for buying as much as they can online and hope for the best without any live human customer service, rather than subjecting themselves to rude, unprofessional and really stupid behavior from a retail employee who shouldn't have been hired in the first place and has had way too much time on the job to develop the enormous chip on her shoulder that she had on display that day. read more

this is a wonderful salon. It is a spa really. You can get a mani/pedi, your haircolor done and your waxing all by the same person in the same day and then buy amazing Aveda products. Ask for Ashley she is the manager and amazing. read more
