I don't know much about plants, but went with my friend who knows a ton, and was able to do many options for indoor and outdoor plant options. Prices range, which is great because I feel like everyone who wants plants can take their pick with level of expertise. The Paris Market is essentially like an antique shop, museum, and classy cafe all came together at once. It has a perfect vibe and aesthetic that is honestly very calming when you've been rushing around the streets of Savannah prior to walking in the door. I highly recommend getting any flavor of latte (hot or iced) as well as their incredible Parisian hot chocolate. Both were delicious and actually worth the $6/$7 price tag! Getting to know the Cottage Shop was a reminder that not all of the "Old South" is gone. First of all, possibly the most unwelcoming store I have been inside of in recent memory. Knocking several times to be let in. Only to have someone answer and almost reluctantly let us inside. And then, I was followed around the store. I would like to tell you that this was because the proprietor was interested in us and wanted to help. But that would be a rose colored tint I am not prepared to see through. I am of color. I was followed around the store in a way that I know. I know the motivation and belief system that causes store personnel to follow me, ask me repeatedly if I "need help", or simply just eye me suspiciously. I was offended and despite the beautiful merchandise (we wanted to buy the set of steak knives we saw--we later bought them from Williams and Sonoma) I bought nothing. It was horribly offensive to be profiled by a lady literally older than dirt. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this place to anyone. It's a shame because they had a nice selection of things. Guess they don't trust their customers and don't want anyone's business. They didn't even try to conceal that's exactly what they were doing. I thought it was just us and I am horrified to see they are doing this to multiple people. Buyer beware- there are so many other adorable shops who were more than welcoming and we spent a ton of money elsewhere. Their loss.

The shops are awesome!…read more My favorite is the hot sauce shop, but there's something for everyone. This area is a must see if you're on tybee. It can get packed during tourist season, and the pizza shop also draws a large crowd, so parking can be scarce. Make it a point to check it out, it feels like you're in a whole different world!
