I love the apple sauce with which they are served. I had the pork schnitzel with Spätzle for my entree. It was delicious. They have outdoor dining and a large dining room. Our service was great and we had an excellent turnaround time on our food and orders. I took a slice of German Chocolate Cake home. Parking is free and ample. Come support this longstanding Augusta institution that has been around for 50 years. I had my perennial favorite Jaeger schnitzel with brown mushroom gravy and roasted red potatoes. I also had a nice side salad with excellent blue cheese dressing. Mom got the sampler platter with home fries and had to carry half home with her. Over all everything tasted great and the service was top notch.
