Wife wanted Bob Evans but I can't drink their jacked up coffee so we came here. I've never been to a Waffle House before (I know I know). For starters, the layout of this place is genius for expediting orders, with precious few footsteps required for the capable staff to move orders from griddle to plate to table. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but deftly prepared, with a crisp yet fluffy waffle and a side of ham left on the griddle just long enough to kiss it with a little singe of color. we stopped in as a late night eat during a road trip. I have also never been to another waffle house before so I just wanted to try it. Overall, the experience was just okay. My food was okay and my husband agreed. He got a waffle and the overall experience was just okay. The service was friendly enough and I thought the prices were reasonable. The food came out quickly and the waitress was accommodating of my requests. This just wouldn't be my first choice if I was going again. read more

All my visits to this Waffle House have been pleasant, but my latest trip on 6/12/23 truly stood out. Aaliyah H. is the best waitress I've had the pleasure of being served by in years - friendly, sunshiny, with a beautiful, genuine smile. Her kindness and positive energy was a breath of fresh air for my family after being on the road for 8 hours. We're from the Chicago area, hundreds of miles away from any Waffle House, so I ask to stop at one when we can on long car trips. We've always gone to this restaurant; it's in a very convenient location right next to I-80. The food is delicious; my favorite order is waffles with chocolate and peanut butter chips, and they've been so excellent each time, I made another order to go. I'm savoring my last waffle as I write this. While I can't visit this wonderful restaurant often, I look forward to each and every time I do. read more

We plan on having dinner their after leaving the new Past Time arcade blocks away. We pulled up before 8:45 we were about ready to get out when a manager type standing by door stated they will be shifting over to drive thru ? What the hell. They have no drive thru they had 2 new walk up type windows. What's the deal with this? Waffle House is 24 hours. So you want people to eat in their car in your parking lot. Very good. The problem I have is you have to go there early in a shift to get sausage gravy. They don't promote it enough and it goes bad when sitting a long time so they don't make much of it. read more

This is a great Waffle House! Service was super quick and friendly, food was on point for what you want from a good, cheap diner. I had eggs and hash browns and my husband had a waffle and hash browns. We stopped to charge our car next door at the Sheetz and walked over to eat. By the time we were done at Waffle House 20 minutes later, our car was charged and we were full and happy. Would stop again next time we pass through! read more

OMG this was the worst experience ever! And believe me when I say we used to love this Waffle House - we would drive 20 min for it instead of the one 10 min from home. But no more after this visit that is for sure! We sat down ordered. Our waitress Destiny comes back a short time later with my sister's hash-browns and says "She didn't do them in the ring are these OK?" My sister said as long as they were cooked through they should be but pointed out she wanted them with her meal (she could see our meals were nowhere near ready) Destiny huffed and said that 'This is how the food comes here." We said no, we've eaten here before and she rudely cut us off and said "I've worked here two days and its always like this." She then sat the hashbrowns down and walked off. Another waitress apologized and we sat and waited as our meal slowly came out plate by plate.....my sister got her waffle...last and whats worse it was RAW. When she told Destiny she again got mad and said "There is nothing I can do 'cept take it off your bill" and walked off. I was mortified. We all were mortified and a week later I still cringe thinking about it! Just drive on. Do not visit this one. WOO.... Fast take out less than 10min for a to go order of 2 All Star Breakfast and a extra walffle. The kids eat hear all the time. I'm not really a Waffle House guy for breakfast but it'll work. The place was convenient off of Route 80 fast-moving and the staff was polite. read more

The cook did not change his gloves in between touching raw meat, raw eggs, and cooked food. We sat and watched for a while... He touches raw food and then grabs plates and bowls and puts the cooked food in them.. definitely super unsanitary. read more

For what it is, it's fine. I had a perfectly good "greasy spoon" breakfast the other day. My friend got a grilled chicken salad and wasn't impressed. I came in this past Saturday night. It wasn't really busy but there were a few tables in the restaurant. When I walked in I was only greeted by one person (that ended up being my waitress). The sloppy cook was literally sleeping standing next to the grill and the other waitress was talking to her friends. We sat down and we were greeted with a smile by our waitress. She was an excellent waitress, she knew the menu and made awesome recommendations, she was fast attentive but didn't smother us. In my opinion this girl could and should be working somewhere way better than the Waffle House. They're lucky to have her. Her name is Leea. If you go in definitely ask for her you won't regret it. On the other hand the other waitress stood around loudly talking with her friends about drinking and their plans to go out. The sloppy looking cook was complaining the whole time and burnt our waffles. I saw them when the cook put them on the plates and already planned to send them back. Our waitress went to pick them up and when she saw them just made new ones. When she brought our food she didn't even blame the cook (don't know if I would have done the same thing). She just said your waffles will just be another moment and brought out perfect looking waffles. How is it that the waitress made us better food than the cook. It wasn't even busy. This girl is a five star server and probably saved this place from a nasty review. I don't post reviews often but I had to let everyone know how this girl saved our experience.
