The staff is very attentive! Food is well above average for a casual environment. You can't beat the prices and low key setting!

What truly sets this place apart is the people. From the second I walk in the door, the bartenders make me feel welcome. They don't just serve drinks -- they remember my name, my drink order, and even what I like to eat. The owners and staff consistently make me, my friends, and my family feel like we belong there. Hoss, Josh, Tasha, Jimmy, Fred, and Mandy are hands down the best bartenders in the area. They're friendly, fast, and somehow manage to give you personal attention even when the bar is two or three deep. The service is always top notch -- even on the busiest nights, I still have a drink in my hand within minutes. That says everything about how well this place is run. And in the summer? The patio is the place to be. It's easily the best patio around -- great atmosphere, great crowd, and the BBQ is always a highlight. There's nothing better than sitting outside with friends, good food, and a cold drink. If you're looking for a spot with great energy, amazing staff, live music, DJ nights, and the best summer patio in town, this is it.

The problem is, the place was packed and is clearly a very popular restaurant here. To start, the service was great! Everyone was super friendly and fairly attentive. Moving on to food. We shared two appetizers, peppers in oil and fried Zucchini flowers. The peppers were ok but had just a low quality olive oil that made them seem greasy. I've had fried zucchini flowers many times growing up in an Italian household but these were the worst I've ever had. They were overstuffed, over battered, and again, greasy! Not sure why they offer this dish when you can't taste the flowers at all as they are overpowered by everything else. Next, I had Chicken Marsala. I've had chicken Marsala all over the world, have cooked it many times, and I absolutely love the dish. This version was unlike any other version I've ever had with the addition of a ton of peppers. The chicken was cooked properly but the sauce was gloppy, didn't taste like Marsala, and seemed like it was cooked by someone who doesn't understand that the best Italian dishes should be simple and not "overhanded". The chicken parmigiana was the best meal out of everything they made but unfortunately the spaghetti it came with had waaaaay too much sauce and the parmigiana cheese (which we had to ask for) seemed like the low quality stuff you can buy in a jar at the supermarket. I guess the overall impression was poor quality Italian food made with average quality ingredients. If you like Olive Garden, then you'll probably be happy here as it felt like this restaurant from the food to the decor is stuck in the early 80s. One other note - the prices were very reasonable but as many Italian places in the US are, they don't understand that the main principle of Italian food is high quality ingredients combined with simplicity.

Ordered there "famous" Station Square Charred Ribeye and Prime Rib Au Jus and neither of them had any flavor at all. My husband said it tasted like steak from Ponderosa back in the day and he was absolutely right. We also ordered the lamb lollipops that were dry, had absolutely no flavor. The little bit of juice from the lamb had soaked into the instant mashed potatoes, that are underneath?? it's an appetizer?!? They tasted like paste!!! The most flavorful thing we got was the Ajou sauce which I ordered an extra side of it/paid for the up charge and they were extremely rude about it. It was extremely overpriced and nothing was good! We won't be returning. As a young child, I used to eat there a lot with my family, but I see things have changed tremendously.

They ranged from sweet to boozy. It was a nice variety that offered something for everyone. For dinner I tried the crab crusted salmon. It was a good pairing, but the salmon without the crab left something to be desired. The Chophouse offers a vegan/vegetarian menu, but you do have to ask for it. One of the featured items on that menu was the ratatouille. It was fantastic and I would certainly recommend it. For sides I greatly enjoyed the Caesar salad, which was not too fishy, and the whipped Yukons were a delight. Large parties can be a challenge, but regardless I found the service to be a bit inconsistent. Though always friendly, we had to remind our server of items that we had asked for on more than one occasion. Near the end of the meal it seemed that the bussers were pushing for us to wrap things up and get out, despite not having been there for a terribly long time. We were asked multiple times if certain items could be cleared while we were still eating them. They just didn't seem to have a good feel for this. There certainly were some strong dishes and I wouldn't hesitate to go again, though it would be on a special occasion as they are certainly not cheap.
