    Pulled pork sample

I was looking for a spot to eat and my friend recommended me to eat here. Let me just say that being a local at California, there are not much options for American BBQ, all we have is kbbq, Filipino bbq, Japan bbq, etc. So this was newer to me, I just don't have it often. The bbq here was the best American bbq I have had in my life, that being said I don't go to American bbq spots often. The smoky flavor was perfect, my favorite sauce was the smoky mountain. The meat of the brisket was so tender and the potatoes were flavorful and perfect! I would definitely take my friends and family here if I came back to the east coast. The staff was friendly and the place was clean and very country like!

Always friendly staff and the food is amazing! Love the decor and that at noon everyone stands while the National anthem is played!

Food was perfect, staff was super awesome, and the young lady working the dining room was the best hostess ever!

I was out thrifting in Warren so I decided to give Cockeye Creamery a try after seeing it…read morerecommended by an online article. Located on the North side of Warren on 422 the Creamery is located in the parking lot of Cockey BBQ. The menu is a bit limited compared to most ice cream places, it has cones, dishes, sundaes (hot fudge only, milkshakes and ice cream sandwiches, plus hand packed pints and quarts. The variety comes from the variety of unique flavors of ice cream; I tried to get a picture of the flavors board, but the video screen was in the sun and was very hard to read. Service was nice, I got a sample of the Cornbread and Sorghum, which was unusual and very sweet. I ordered a dish with 3 scoops, which was a generous portion. All the ice creams were creamy, not too rich with good flavor, also the ice cream was served just at a great temperature, firm, but not solid so that the flavors really hit the palate. The Key Lime Pie was Key Lime ice cream with graham cracker and marshmallow creme, nice and balanced if not as tart as real key lime pie, but still tasty. The Kong, banana ice cream with graham crackers and mini buckeyes was great, the banana flavor was as good as I have had in an ice cream, not artificial at all. My favorite was the Andromeda, chocolate ice cream with brownie pieces and chocolate chips. The chocolate ice cream was the real star here, rich and chocolaty and not too sweet, this is what you want if you are a real chocoholic. Cockeye Creamery is concentrating on making great ice cream in some unique flavors, well worth a visit if you are in Warren and you want some high quality ice cream. Definitely worth a visit when you deserve a treat.

The batter had no seasoning and the fish tasted like it was defrosted in water and the breading was very greasy . I'll stick to the other items we've gotten here before . The burgers, flatbreads, ribs etc have always been great . The last few times the service has been getting worse, this time we got there at 4:30 and had great service until 6:30 . The people beside us waited over an hour to order and I had to tell the waitress. We look back to left of bar and staff is always hanging out back there talking. No one seems to help one another . Some of the male staff just put off a really bad vibe and truly Never see them helping out . This place is one of our favorites and can't for the expansion to be completed and they are finally working on it again .

I in particular was attracted by the daily prime rib special. My wife, the fish dinner. The prime rib was very flavorful. It's charcoal roasted and well seasoned. It wasn't the most tender prime rib I've had but the flavor made up for it. My wife enjoyed the fish dinner, which was pleasantly a large piece of haddock, which seems rare in these parts where Cod reigns supreme. She said it was nice and flaky, huge portion, and not too "slimy" like the fish fry dinners back in Western NY. The hand cut fresh fries and coleslaw were welcomed treats as well. Overall, we enjoyed our food immensely, which can be a surprise sometimes for bars. We took a peak at the outdoor seating which looked very fun and inviting for a warmer day. We'll definitely be back. This may also be our go-to place for when guests are in town.
