A bartender sets the tone for the entire experience, especially for solo guests. Sitting alone at a bar can already feel awkward enough, and a warm, welcoming attitude goes a long way. I still tipped her generously despite the experience, because that's just who I am, but management should really pay attention to how guests are being treated behind the bar.
