My husband's steak was very well done, not even a trace of pink . He brought his plate back to the counter to request a new order and by the time he got his food, I was done with mine. As soon as he touched the steak, he could tell it was almost raw. When he cut into it, it was plain to see that it was dark red and raw inside. He showed the waitress and she offered to have it cooked again, but since I was already done eating, we paid for my omelette and left.

The kind of joint where the regular crowd of old-timers comes in every morning for coffee and conversation, and you'll see soldiers in here occasionally from the local Army National Guard Stryker Brigade. Not a fancy place by far, they serve breakfast and lunch, and the hours are Mon.-Sat. 7am-2pm, and Sunday, 7-1. I usually can't eat more than a few bites of sweet breakfast dishes ... this is one of the few exceptions. Can't wait to come back!
