The coffee was cold, tasted horribly burnt, and was honestly difficult to drink. I returned about two hours later and asked to taste the coffee again, hoping the first cup had just been a bad batch. Unfortunately, it tasted exactly the same. I genuinely can't believe they're serving coffee in this condition. I understand that coffee can sit for a while, especially during slower periods, but this is a coffee shop. Serving fresh, decent coffee should be the bare minimum. A few simple changes could make a huge difference. Keep a small whiteboard indicating when the coffee was last brewed, use smaller dispensers so it doesn't sit for hours, or offer ONLY French press or pour-over options later in the day when demand slows down. Staffing also seems to be an issue. They really need more people working behind the counter and in the kitchen. If that's not feasible, perhaps simplifying the menu would help the staff keep up with demand without sacrificing quality. It's a shame because the atmosphere is charming and the people working there are genuinely lovely. I wouldn't normally give a business such a low rating, but when you call yourself a coffee shop, the coffee really needs to be good. I hope they make some improvements because the place has so much potential.
