Waited for a good 10 minutes before being acknowledged by a wait staff. I ordered my drink and part of my breakfast came before my drinks. I had asked the wait staff, before i ordered, if they had sugar free syrup. Yes, being diabetic, I probably shouldn't be eating waffles, but. The staff said yes. When the waffle came, I ask again for the syrup. He said sure and turned to a waitstaff conversation that lasted a good 10 minutes. Still no syrup. The entire breakfast got cold before it dawned on them that they forgot something. This last 4-day trip that I took had me eating at various Waffle Houses between here and home, breakfast and dinner. The Franklin Indiana is the absolute worse place that I ever had service from. Never again read more

We hit the WH about midnight on a Saturday. The place was busy but we didn't have to wait too long. The facility was relatively clean considering how fast they were moving tables. The menu is relatively small. Apparently they offer more items. The menu is only their most popular items. Prices are simple and moderate for what you are ordering. Our waiter was very engaging. He new his menu well and was very helpful and friendly. He hustled to get our food to us quickly. He was confused about who got what. He focus was just getting it there ASAP. The check out lady was less friendly m. She was occupied doing other things and left us to self check out basically. The food was okay. The omelette was really basic - fluffed eggs folded over a piece of cheese. Very basic. The waffles were rather small and very thin - very disappointed in what costs almost $5. The sausage gravy and biscuits were very plain. The biscuit was medium sized and moist. The gravy was moderately thick and rather bland. The sausage didn't have much spice or heat. The two side sausage patties were basically burnt and thin. Waffle House is a nice fall back if you are looking for something fast and simple. read more

It's been awhile since I've been to a WaffleHouse. I've never been to this location but stopped in after I dropped my mom off for an appointment nearby. The staff greeted me right away when I came in and I got my food quickly. It was around 9am on a Thursday morning and it wasn't super busy. There were actually more employees than customers which surprised me. However, after taking my initial order, no one checked on me again or offered a coffee refill. They were loudly discussing how they didn't want to be there which is my pet peeve. Just don't have those conversations in front of the customers. Tried out this lil Waffle House right off of 65, it was pretty small and seemed to have a cold draft from the big windows by Our booth. The inside was like a retro dinner vibe. The staff was friendly. I got the double waffle option, which was just 2 waffles with chocolate chips on top and came with syrup and butter. Tasted pretty good but nothing special. Ran out of water towards the end but overall a nice little breakfast place to stop in and try. Not a lot of options but do u really want much more than a waffle here? read more

This Waffle House is just like every other waffle house on the planet, except this one was the only place open at this exit when we were driving through on Christmas and will always have a place in our heart. Got a seat quick, our waitress was super friendly, and everything came exactly as ordered. We were starving and ate til we're stuffed for like $30. Even though it was a holiday evening everyone that worked there was smiling and wished us a Merry Christmas. Someone even put on the grinch song on the jukebox. Wow! Me and my fiancé came here two times and we've been to many waffle houses but really this one is the BEST. Staff was amazing we came around 130am and Bri was working as she was fantastic!!!! The cook was super amazing too he checked on us so much too. They were so fast. We ordered steak and eggs & a blueberry waffle. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and so was our waffle. Everything tasted really fresh. They really cared about us and were sooo personable. I literally couldn't stop saying how perfect they made my order. I've gone to waffle house hundreds of times and this was literally the best experience ever. What a great duo working together! Thank you guys so much for the great late night dinner and service! Well you really can't go wrong with Waffle House. The food is home cooked, the waitresses are wonderful seasoned hard working women who call you sweetie and tell it like it is. The food is a bit oily (because of the single flat grill that everything gets cooked on) but that's what your getting here...traditional home cooked diner food. I have to admit, I was quite skeptical, especially when our 4 year old wanted to sit up to the bar. But in the end, we left satisfied. We enjoyed watching our food be prepared too. It is what it is. 3 star food you would expect from a waffle joint catering to late night people shuffling in from the bars at all hours. I give this place a fair 4 stars because the service! Yes the food is alright. Like I said 3 star stuff. But I have never had bad service here at all. My coffee mug is a black bottomless pit here and I always have a good chat with the staff. My waffle was undercooked bc the iron was messed up. The guy quickly swiped it from me. "I can't do you like that my friend". He replaced it with a fresh one. It is extremely cold in there. They said the air is either in or off, they can't adjust it. Also said that if they turn the air off it will get too warm, start condensation and everything will get wet. No one else was there, not surprised. first and last time here. the waitress ( jessica ) was not pay any attention to me whatsoever for the first ten minutes I was here. after I ordered my food it took an additional ten minutes for the cook to start cooking my food. after I got done eating my drink glass was empty. I had to wait an additional five minutes to get a refill. the staff here are more interested in talking to each other than they are talking to the customer. they also whisper in each others ears to talk crap about customers. after my food I inquired about more food as I wasn't full. nine minutes later the waitress finally checked in with me. after I ordered my food she took seven minutes to tell the cook to prepare it. I also didn't see anyone wash their hand the entire hour I was here. I don't recommend this place to anyone read more
