I love to bring my young son here for special breakfast "dates." The staff is always friendly to him and very patient when I let him practice ordering for himself. The service here has been spotty on occasion, but server Kaylee was perfectly attentive on our most recent two visits. The food at this location is consistently good, and I appreciate that my scrambled eggs with cheese are never overcooked and my hash browns are always crispy. Brand new to the area and it is the only reason why I bothered to try it. Why? The place hasn't been wrecked by the crowds yet. Still, the place was pretty crowded when we got in. We ended up placing our order before we got seated so we could just pass it to our waitress once we were seated. We ended up getting a corner booth and my nieces got a couple chairs near us. We submitted our order and it came out pretty fast. I got the steak and eggs with shredded hash extra crispy and my friend got the all american special. My meal was good except for the steak. It tasted like it was boiled rather than cooked on a flat top. My friend thought there was too much pepper on it. My friend's meal was good and she got the chocolate chip waffle to go with it. The only complaints was about the eggs since she asked for them to be over medium and an egg was cooked over hard. The waffle was good, but the chocolate chips are better inside the batter and I prefer a crispier waffle. As for the service, it looks like the place is still working out their issues. There was some lack of communication on who should be seated first from all of us that were waiting, but the guy looks like he's training the staff. He did his best to make the place run smoothly and he did his best to get our food out to us quickly. Overall, this seems to be like a one time deal for me. I love waffle house, but when I get off my seasonal job at 12:00 and i need something to eat, i go there. first night i went at all, we never ordered. we sat there for over an hour and never got to even get water. we didn't go back for a few years. now i'm coming back with friends, and during the daytime, it's amazing! 5 stars! but at night?? i understand wanting to have a slow night shift, but i walked in and ordered to go. i'm sitting there with my wallet in hand, ready to pay, and this dude is doodling on his waiter pad. not doing math or anything. just doodling. i wait for maybe 5 minutes which isn't bad in hindsight, but when my food was ready to go and was waiting to be put in a bag.... the same dude who was doodling was showing his coworker a video on his phone... meanwhile, a group of 8 is sitting at their table, and haven't even ordered. they got there way before me. tl:dr, waffle house has amazing food and daytime staff, but the night shift staff needs to up their game. 24/7 is a key highlight of waffle house, and it fails to meet basic expectations during the later hours. read more

This was the most unique waffle house I'd stopped in. This place is memorable from the customer service. It was almost creepy the number of "hellos" and other salutations, the checking up on you every 30 seconds, and the sheer number of people working on this light Sunday. Don't get me wrong; each of these young people were clearly doing their level best, leaning forward to ensure every need was met and the customer was welcome. It just seemed a bit overwhelming particularly with the 12 or so employees milling about. The food was that traditional Americana diner breakfast. Not a foodie delight; just solid traditional breakfast fare prepared on the grill and slathered with butter. What is not to love? Price. Although even Waffle house prices have crept up in a weak economy; they still are soundly in the value category. Look to spend about $7 a head depending entirely on the type and quantity of the meal and trimmings you choose. But there is one particular young girl that wears a pink camouflage hat, who is the most rudest person there. She will look straight into your eyes & make a face of disgust. I came here on a late Saturday night (or early Sunday morning 0_o ) and I just really enjoyed myself here. The staff was outstanding, and so warming and welcoming. It made the stay there that much more pleasant. I'm sad I can't remember his name, but our waiter was just so caring. He made sure we were catered to the entire evening/morning.
