Super Cute brewery perfect for families, relaxing after work or date night! We always enjoy stopping by Studlys when we have a free night just with our kids. Mondays they have music bingo, no extra charge, just fun! Their pizzas are always delicious and service is always a hit! The drinks are home runs every time. Love the atmosphere, cute corner for kids to hang and play so the adults can have some uninterrupted conversations. Always clean, great atmosphere and decor.

Had an absolute blast there the other night! The pizza was amazing, the sour beer I had was great, and the vibe was awesome. I loved the family friendly touches throughout the place. The staff was super friendly and the owner seemed like a really good guy. We'll definitely be back.

First off, the aesthetic is really nice especially if you're into sports. They clearly paid attention to detail when designing the space. The tables are covered in baseball cards, there are baseball-themed photos on the walls, and even the bathrooms are decorated. The women's restroom has two murals inspired by A League of Their Own, which I loved. There's also a The Sandlot movie reference in the restaurant. It's definitely a fun spot for baseball fans. Even though it's a brewery, it's very family-friendly. They allow kids and have thoughtful touches like smaller toilet seats and a little kids' area. That stood out to me. They have a good selection of draft beers. I tried a Hazy and a vanilla-flavored one. I'm not a big beer drinker, but I can see someone who enjoys craft beer liking them. Now the pizza. The pizza was REALLY good. They have a wide variety: classic cheese and pepperoni, margherita, sweet and salty options, and even something close to Chicago-style deep dish. The deep dish had the perfect crunch on the bottom without being overcooked crispy underneath and soft everywhere else. The thin crust was also done perfectly. Everything tasted very fresh. When you bite into the pepperoni, you can actually taste the pork. Same with the bacon, cheese, onions all the toppings were flavorful and fresh, and each ingredient really stood out. Overall, great vibe, very family-friendly, and some seriously good pizza. I'd definitely go back.

Came here for a wonderful Yelp event. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, if they were overwhelmed I definitely didn't notice! Great ambiance and FANTASTIC food. I call that the baseball fan trifecta! So let's dive deeper into the food and drinks offered. I tried one of their brewed on site beers called Nana Ball which was a delicious hefeweizen. It paired well with their artisanal pizzas. I tried their traditional pizzas and soon to be added to the menu Detroit Style pizza. I LOVED the Dill Pickle Detroit Style pizza which shocked me because I wasn't expecting to! Highly recommend! I also tried their made on site root beer and I loved the fact that it wasn't obnoxiously sweet BUT I wished it had a bit more bite. If you're an avid root beer fan you know what I'm talking about. I would still get it again though because it is good! This place checks all the boxes, sure to satisfy even the pickiest of eaters and drinkers. This is a family friendly place for sure. Totally worth checking out. Thanks for a wonderful night!

I recently organized a work function at Studley Brewing and was instantly impressed with how amazing their service and atmosphere is! The owners were so friendly and easy to work with and our servers took amazing care of us. Do you like baseball and beer? This is the perfect place for you! Studley offers a variety of amazing craft beer selections and a robust menu featuring everything from basic ball park hotdogs to personal pizzas! You can purchase a baseball bat sized cup for refills at a discounted pour cost too! There's nothing not to like about this place! The outside offers a few tables in a baseball theme and gives you a place to sit if you want to bring your dog. I don't travel to Chesapeake often but I would go back just to enjoy the local atmosphere that Studley brewing provides!

Strolled in and was amazed with all the baseball theme ambiance from the movie "The Sandlot" to "A League Of Their Own". Baseball cards used as coasters keep the baseball theme mainstreamed! Customer service was top notch as well as the delicious pizza! I ordered the pepperoni pizza known as the "is this heaven? no, it's pepperoni" DEFINITELY ADD HOT HONEY. So many beers that were all delicious and matched well with the pizza. If you are a fan of root beer definitely get a glass of their homemade root beer! Very refreshing! Can't wait till I try a calzone next! Or the chicken bbq pizza or meat lovers!

This is a hidden gem. I was in the area for an event and stopped in to grab a to go order. Although this is a brewery upon arrival the atmosphere was very family friendly. The eating area and bar have a nice gap between so it doesn't feel crowded. I approached the bar and asked if I could place a to go order. Tiffany was more than happy to assist. She provided great conversation as I waited for my food and even offered me a water. Just my interaction with her I would return! I ordered the phanatic calzone which smelled amazing on the drive home. It was fresh made and still hot after a 15 minute drive. There was a great balance of ingredients - cheese meat and veggies. The meat had great flavor and the mozzarella had amazing pull. Looking forward to my next visit to try some of the beers. Highly recommend stopping in.

Friends brought me here to watch the game, and craved about the pizza. Definitely themed around baseball, so it's a cool spot. Not too big, but not small. I went with the Figley Field pizza, friends had The Heater, and The Rundown! All were good, but definitely built for your palate, and flavor profile. Something for everyone on the menu for sure! Cool sports decor on the walls, as well as the artwork.

A beer to make the day.

For beers, I very much enjoyed their Tiny Panzer, a tasty hefeweizen. For seconds while Yelping with my laptop, the BUB Lite was a lighter American lager that was surprisingly flavorful and totally crushable. A great way to socialize and enjoy the warm weather. The drink options look great, from beer, to mixed drinks, to even coffee. However, we didn't have a chance to try them this time around. We came in for a late lunch, the menu has some great options. Unfortunately, my food came out about 15 minutes before my husband's, so we couldn't really enjoy our meal together. 2 meals, no drinks (not even a soda), and 2 sauces came out to around $40. Honestly, I wouldn't pay that again for the portion of food you're getting. For food at this price point, I think there's better places. However, the vibes are great and this is an awesome spot for drinks. Definitely recommend for drinks & hanging out!

If "Hole in the Wall Brewery" was a thing, Rip Rap would be at the top of this category. Hidden…read moregem is an understatement. Hidden Gem, for real. Sometimes great things come in small packages. This is literally a garage door Brewery. From what I can tell, everything is small batch ( see photos of Brewing area). I almost want to stop here, because from the sampling I have had the beer is AWESOME SAUCE. So far, this is the best beer I have had in the area, and I have already visited about 10 breweries between Norfolk, Virginia Beach and Chesapeake. I literally could waste my days here. But, it wouldn't be any where near a waste. I think I'm in love. The BEER: Break Water Cream Ale 4% ABV... Smooth and delicious, all day crushable. New Moon Schwarzbier 4.9% ABV... this is closer to a Stout with some smoke, it is very good. I was hoping for the Rausch bier flavor. Still quite delicious. Kaiyo Rice Lager 5.5% ABV... Oh Wow!!! Creamy and delicious. Reminds me of coconut water. This would pair well with just about anything. The BEST. Teak Beach tropical IPA 7.7% ABV... Party in my mouth... thus is AMAZING!!! pineapple, guava or mango, and coconut. Brian says, pineapple and Coconut, but my mind is going tropic crazy. This IPA is low in IBUs and high in full robust flavor. If you love craft beer and you are in the area. If you miss Rip Rap Brewing in Norfolk, Virginia, you have truly missed something special. PS... Brian is a font of knowledge and an overall great beertender.
