Reid's Apothecary now offers bottomless--but instead of refills, they bring you a full bottle of…read morechampagne with juice (love that). I may or may not have finished mine. lol We booked through Resy--highly recommend. My husband had the chorizo burrito (good, but didn't love the fried chicken gravy), and I had the farmhouse skillet--tasty, but the chimichurri was a bit too limey for me. Shoutout to our waitress Emily--she was fantastic and made the experience even better. Definitely coming back!

I think I sampled everyone's, and most were really good. *Place had a cool vibe What could of been better: *This almost ruined the visit. Walk in and the hostess, young lady looked at us and mumbled. We explained how many people we had 5 with one more joining us. Just stared at us and looked confused. Said we could sit at the bar. The place was mostly empty. Asked again about seating and she seemed lost. A member of party asked if we could sit there, and pointed and the hostess states " I guess so" it was the weirdest interaction I have ever had with a hostess. She seemed lost. We were debating whether we should even stay. Overall we enjoyed the visit once we got past the door. Will give them another chance

We tried coming here last year, but they were closed a few days before and after Christmas. This…read moreyear we're in town closer to New Year's and thankfully, we were able to try Maggie Mae's in downtown Brunswick. This definitely appears to be a popular place with locals because most people are greeted by name as they enter the restaurant. I was greeted with a smile and a good morning as soon as I entered the restaurant. They gave me a menu and told that I could sit anywhere I would like. The server was very friendly and relatively attentive. The dining room is adequately filled with six large larger tables and a number of smaller ones that are perfect for two people. They also have four picnic tables outside. They serve breakfast and lunch all day. Yelp shows that they're open until 3 PM, but the menu shows 7 AM to 2 PM Monday through Friday, and the grill is turned off at 1:30 PM. I decided to try their ham and cheese omelette. The menu shows a peace symbol next to the best selling items. The omelette comes with hashbrowns or grits and your choice of toast. The server suggested raisin toast or the biscuit. I typically do not order biscuits because they tend to be dry. Their biscuit was surprisingly good. It was sliced in half and grilled on both sides. It tasted soft and moist after applying butter and strawberry jam. Similar to the biscuit, the ham and cheese omelette was also really good. It was loaded with ham and there was possibly a little more ham than cheese. Overall, I had a positive experience. The food tasted great, and the service felt personable and exemplified southern hospitality. I would definitely consider returning, and I would recommend Maggie Mae's to others Cheers

Where else in the world can you bump into a colleague from three-plus decades ago by accident?…read more We stopped in after reviewing quick lunch spots after leaving Saint Simons. Maggie Mae's look fun and it was. Food: a unique, toasted Cuban sans mustard with a heap of tater tots. Also tasty egg salad with pasta salad. Both with water. All good. Ambiance: this is a local oasis with a wide breakfast and lunch menu, including soup of the day. Sandwiches are specialities but we hate to have missed breakfast. Not opulent but a hometown feel you can't import. Service. Perfect. From ordering to delivery to a quick "hey" from the boss. We'll go again when in the area.

I had a dinner sampler...1 piece of fried chicken breast, a piece of meatloaf, and 3 sides (Mac & cheese, hash brown casserole, and corn) and a basket of biscuits, cornbread and butter. A ton of good. Everything was soooo yummy. Just under $16. Can't beat that. Also had a shepherd's pie which was made different than typical. This one had chunks of meatloaf, like pot roast, instead of ground beef. It was delicious! Much better than regular shepherd's pie. Loved it. The meal made me want to come back again really soon.

I arrived too late for dinner but that doesn't mean that I can't get an early breakfast on the way out! After a quiet night, I arrived just after opening to a warm welcome and was seated immediately. My waiter took my order, brought coffee and a very few minutes later, brought breakfast. Two eggs basted (they don't do poached) with bacon and sausage. No carbs for me today as I'm back on my keto diet. Sad because the fresh biscuits at the next table over looked fabulous. Yes, a five star Cracker Barrel experience. A quiet night's rest and a filling breakfast. I'm a fan! [Review 498 of 2025 - 819 in Georgia - 24060 overall]
