Next up, the waitress was super nice and attentive. We ordered the deep fried devil eggs...so yummy. The mule drink was mixed well. The burger, fries, cup of stew was also prepared very well. Pricing was good. Will stop back here again.

Stellar cocktails, friendly service, great views, modern design aesthetic, and incredible food. My only gripe is that they do not take reservations, though even on a Friday night, I've been able to get seated within 20-30 minutes, and you can always grab a drink from the bar and hang out on the lawn while you wait. This most recent visit, I started with the seafood chowder, one of my favorite soups on the island. Creamy, hearty, with plenty of fish, shrimp, crab, and potatoes. Shared a crabcake with my girlfriend--another solid choice, with plenty of crab, not too heavy on the filling, and with a lovely remoulade. For mains, we both had the grilled redfish, a baked potato for me, and mixed veggies for her. Perfectly cooked pieces of fish with a nice crust on the outside while still being moist and tender. Dessert this time was the chocolate pie, which was quite nice, not being too heavy nor excessively sweet. Did I mention the cocktails? I'm a big fan of the smokey mango Fiddlerita (a mezcal take on the classic marg), and the saladito a close second (again, mezcal, but with a little honey and cayenne). The girlfriend enjoys the basil smash (hold the simple syrup, please). Previously, we've tried the artichoke dip, which is also fantastic, shrimp and grits (solid, but Reid's does it better), blackened tripletail over creamy leek sauce (a special, and special indeed), and the key lime pie (excellent). You really can't go wrong here.

Nice market with a good selection, but very pricey. Per many other reviews, my husband and I both had fried shrimp. It was excellent. He got the large platter and could barely eat it all. The regular platter was very plentiful. He got sweet potato fries as his side - excellent choice. I went wrong with my side - Mac n cheese. It was homemade and OK. To me it was like a very creamy and very cheesy Kraft with added pimentos. But to be honest , I make a killer southern mac n cheese and am pretty picky. So it is probably totally fine for most folks. We did have to wait quite a while for the food. We got there just 15 minutes before closing. There were a couple folks that had just ordered and were waiting. Then when I meandered through the whole store and came back twice to find it was still in process, I found out that someone had called in an huge order for 10-12 people just 15 minutes before closing. Amazing that people do things like that. Anyway, the staff was nice, patient, accommodating and doing the best they could. We weren't in a hurry. I just felt bad for them trying to get closed. Will definitely rely be back when we visit again.

When we arrived, we were asked if we were OK if the service was a bit slow that night. Since we drove a bit out of the way from Brunswick we were not leaving, but it gave us extra quality family time with the daughter who was visiting. After ordering the wife and daughter went outside to take in the view of the water and look around. Maybe we were just having a great time, or were prepared to wait forever, but once the food came out, we all agreed it wasn't as long as we thought it would be. I ordered the whole fired flounder platter with Oysters,h ush puppies and fried Okra. Everything was perfectly cooked. And as you can see from the pictures I provide the flounder itself was stunning. I also ordered onion rings which were fresh, large and incredible. The Daughter ordered the Founder dinner, and again, just a absolute beautiful cooked piece of fish. The wife order the Grouper Plate, which was probably the least favorite dish of the 3 as she got it blackened, and it was not as well prepared as the other dishes. Overall a very successful dinner night out

Destiny was our server and she handled everything like a pro, even with a very difficult table next to us. You could tell she was hustling and still kept a great attitude...service definitely stood out. Food-wise, we ordered a little bit of everything: alligator bites, a dozen oysters, and the whole flounder with mac & cheese and collard greens. The alligator bites were easily my favorite--crispy, flavorful, and not chewy at all. The collard greens were also a standout, seasoned just right and full of flavor. The oysters (from Virginia) were fresh and hit the spot. The flounder itself was cooked well, but it could've used a bit more seasoning to really bring it home. Same with the mac & cheese...just a little bland compared to everything else on the table. I also had a prosecco, which paired perfectly with the seafood and kept things feeling light and fun. Overall, great atmosphere, strong service, and a few standout dishes. I'd definitely come back...just know what to order.
