I love this spot. Its small but mighty and the service is great! There's a little something for everyone at the Waffle House. I ended up getting the two egg breakfast and it was very filling. My family got waffles, bacon cheese burger deluxe papa joe's pork chops. This place hit the spot. I loved how nice the staff were who worked here. I enjoyed the music they had playing. This restaurant is clean and well kept. I do suggest you get breakfast here next time you are wanting to treat yourself. First of all, IT'S A WAFFLE HOUSE ! It's not the Ritz Carlton. Please manage your expectations to a realistic level. I've been here probably 5 or 6 times over the last few years. It's extremely consistent. The service is usually friendly and efficient. Your food comes quickly and if you sit at the counter, you can watch it being cooked. I really enjoy the "cheesy" scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns. I don't think I've come here for lunch yet but I'm sure I will at some point. The prices are somewhat reasonable under current inflationary conditions. My only minor complaint is the tiny cans of tomato juice. Really ? If my server hadn't put ice in the glass, it would have been 2 gulps of juice. But, I will be back. read more

Where to even start?? We ventured in here mostly because the Cracker Barrel across the street was packed with a wait...first mistake. The menu is standard and the place smelt like a greasy spoon, which was fine considering our hunger. After a few minutes, the waiter came and immediately said that they were put of bacon, onions, waffle batter and a couple other things. Good thing I didn't necessarily want any of those things. A sandwich and fries were served up rather quickly and more people started coming in, being told what was what and eventually the cook/manager said he was shutting the doors and going home. The service here is really good. I saw a negative review posted a week ago that was totally unfair. I was present when this occurred and heard the servers bad mouthing their manager to other customers. They were trying to cause issues. The restaurant is run well and I'm unsure why these servers were trying to cause problems but it was clear they were trying to stir up trouble. Hey, what can you say it is Waffle House. A staple for traveling. The staff are a little preoccupied with their phones, everyone was talking, just not to the customers. The food is the same as most. It was generally clean, bathroom, maybe not so much. It sits in a kinda sketchy hood of lower-end motels. Some of the clientele and staff, probably live there. At least they are working. I'm a mixed male with a black girlfriend, standing behind a black couple, an after me and the couple in front of us waited 10 minutes to even be spoke to, a Caucasian couple comes in and is immediately greeted and seated by the manager...what a joke. Walked in and sat down to wait for a booth. We were never acknowledged or greeted. Noticed the guy cooking food was wearing his mask below his chin and not correctly. Waffle House is a restaurant I'm sure most people know about. Despite its reputation as a chain, I can tell you that this one is great. The server was so super nice to us. She took our orders quickly but politely. The food came out super quick. They seem to be well staffed. Everything was clean, too. They were very busy and the server still came by to chat with us for a few. The food was great. We got peanut butter waffles (omg amazing) and toast. Their grits were good, too. The best thing was the price. Two grown person appetites and we still got out for under 25 excluding tips. Honestly, I suggest going to this place and giving them a try. This was one of the best tasting, and most welcoming diners I have ever been too. Our waitress Casandra was very accommodating and she checked on us several times to make sure that we were happy despite the place being packed. She made a mistake with our juice order and decided to give us a 10% discount on our TOTAL bill which was nice. The employees treat you like you are their only customer - while still taking time for the 'full house' of patrons.
