Plenty of seating, but they sat us at the worst table next to the dishwashing in the corner. The seat were dirty with crumbs and some sticky stuff. They grudgingly cleaned them. After waiting for a good 10 minutes, with no service, I got up and asked if we could move to another booth. They said yes and we moved to a nice seat next to the window. Another group of red-blooded white Americans. They weee seated immediately and warmly asked what they would like to drink. We still had no service. I had to stare down the waitress just to get her to come over. In a not so warm way she asked what we want to drink. Then she stomped away. We waited for our drinks and looked at the menu. Another group of white boys came in and the same thing happened. Immediate service. We still waited. Both those groups that came in a good 15-20 min after us got their drinks and their orders in before us. We still had not even had the opportunity to order food yet. Still no water or coffee. Still no order. I got up and left in disgust. My friends reluctantly followed me out. Racist, prejudiced, entitled white breakfast spot I guess. Would not recommend at all if you don't look American.

The menu is wonderful and I had a hard time choosing. Every kind of breakfast food imaginable and nice lunch choices as well. I ordered a 1/2 club sandwich with chicken tortilla soup. Food - Very Good. I had the French Toast combo, which came with two eggs and a choice of several meats. I chose scrambled eggs and the House sausage patties. The bread used was Texas Toast. They make you feel like part of their family and want to know where you've been. The food is simply delicious. The ingredients are fresh and the servings are plentiful. Today I was in with my daughter and son-in-law for a scrumptious breakfast. Jill - our wonderful server - suggested the seasonal lemon-blueberry waffles and we also got the cinnamon roll pancake. Wow ... wow wow wow ... they were incredible AND the fresh butter created to pair with each was decadent. I also got a western omelette, my daughter eggs Benedict and my son-in-law the 2 egg breakfast. Very little remained on the plates. Their soups are always hot and full of flavor. Salads crisp and the seasoned fries are crispy and craveable. Homestyle food, served with a smile ... you are truly welcome here.

I say that because the server knew everybody, carrying on discussions like they were old friends. Perhaps they were. I think it was great personized service. I wasn't a regular and I also got great service. The menu is large. I didn't get a chance to look at it earlier, their website wouldn't open. I just tried it again, it timed out again. They might have a problem. Anyway, in my previous review some years ago I didn't care much for the potatoes, so I wanted to avoid them this time. My first choice today was their Country Eggs Benedict, a biscuit and sausage gravy dish constructed like a Benedict. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it today. My second choice, their Ham & Cheese Crepe. The crepe wasn't that impressive. It didn't look that great on the plate. To me the crepe itself was a little rubbery. Inside were a couple of thick slices of ham. That isn't what you would find in France, but I'm not in France, and I like ham. The cheese part was a sauce in a separate dish. This mild Mornay Sauce was ok.

Outstanding I…read morestopped in for lunch, thinking lunch rather than breakfast. Perkins is well-known for their breakfast, but can they put together a great burger? Turns out they can. The burger I selected was their BBQ Tangler Burger, a bacon and cheese (and lettuce and tomato) tower with sweet BBQ sauce and lots of thin deep fried onion pieces. Stacked high and messy with onion pieces falling out, this was an outstanding burger. The fries matched the quality of the sandwich. I wasn't surprised and I was very pleased. It only took about 10 minutes from ordering until I had my food. Everything about my visit was great. My pleasant server was topnotch, doing all the usual server things in a timely manner, interacting with me and other regular customers to make everyone's visit a little nicer. The restaurant appeared clean and well-maintained. At Perkins you pay your bill up front as you leave. By the register they have a couple of display cases, one full of muffins, the other pies. It looked good, but I was full.
