I will say it was slightly busy when we came in but our server took about 25 min to get our drinks in. It took over an hour to get our order (4 people). In between that time our server did not check in on us at all and didn't apologize about the wait. Several people that came in after us got our food before us. 2 out of the 4 things we got were not hot at all. On top of that 3 of our items came out at the same time and the 4th came 20 min later. Additionally, we had a baby with us who was getting fussy since we had been there for over 2 hours. When the waitress came with the check, we told her that the food was very late and cold. We asked for some of our entrees to be taken off. She never apologized but took 15% off as well as beverages. Disappointing experience for such a highly reviewed place.

On the plus side, the morning coffee in the lobby is free and pretty good. The restaurant in the second floor and rooftop, which I confess I did not get any food from, is attractive. But, they only open the rooftop at 5 PM. The rooms feel reasonably well insulated, and I do not remember hearing noise from other people in the hallway at night. She then took a look at our receipt and didn't really say anything or explained to us what the small side of egg waffle was. Didn't answer any of my questions and I never saw that small side of egg waffle again. Shortly after then our down home dish was served to us. It was just a confusing situation that I wish could've been handled better by communicating with us. As for the food, the pictures online are a bit misleading and on the expensive side for the quality. All the photos were taken right after it was served to us. I'd only order the omelet again. A bit lacking with the ingredients and needs sauce. The down home was too doughy for my liking and it's a mix of salty and sweet from the batter and ingredients.
