First time trying out this spot in October. My parents have been here about 5 or 6 times. Food here was good and the portion are huge. I ordered a regular hamburger, my dad got the burger with bacon and my mom got the Denver omelette. This is her go to order here, it comes with pancake and hash brown. Overall, food was delicious and service was attentive and friendly.

    French toast is great.

The ambiance at this place is great, it gives me a classical cabin vibe. The food was peak, the waffles were great, and so was the French toast and eggs. The service was great, our waiter was super polite and the food came super fast. My family had a great time here. This is our new spot!

Like others have mentioned this is an old-time diner that has been in this location for years with pretty much the same staff and repeat customers. Place is large, we've gone there when it's been busy and when it's slow and the service is always efficient and friendly. Prices are also good and portion sizes are large. We like that the meats are good quality, ham, bacon, and sausage. We've tried just about all the diners in Manteca and their bacon and breakfast sausage is the best. Even when we ordered the mini or light entrées, we still end up taking leftovers home. We also like the pancakes which are huge and fluffy.

We were promptly seated on a Sunday at about 1pm and ordered beverages right away. I tried the corned beef hash and eggs, ordered crispy corner beef with eggs on the lighter side as I don't like dry scrambled eggs. Corned beef was mushy, not crispy though. Also ordered the hash browns crispy and it came with biscuits and gravy. My goodness! So so much food! I had at least a whole meal for two left over! Hubby got chorizo and eggs, with potatoes. Again, giant sized and at least another meal. It was good, not great but server was fantastic.

Came here around 1030am on a Monday. The cafe was not packed and we had such a wonderful server. I was pleasantly surprised on how good everything was. No complaints and definitely coming here again.

The food was really good and definitely lived up to the hype. Unfortunately, the service didn't quite match the quality of the food. The wait times--from being seated to receiving our meals--were unusually long. It seemed like they may have been short-staffed, which is understandable, but it did impact the overall experience. That said, we're still willing to give it another try in the future to see if the experience improves, because the food alone makes it worth another visit.

I ordered a plate of crispy hashbrowns topped with tender pulled pork, smothered in rich, creamy gravy, and sprinkled with fresh jalapeños for a perfect kick. It was comforting without being heavy, like a warm hug you didn't know you needed. But the best part? They had fun flavored mimosas that made brunch feel like a celebration. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was bright, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the savory food. (Rachel Green would approve.) The staff was friendly, kept the coffee refills coming, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous enough to leave you full but not overly stuffed. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, good vibes, and a reason to say "How you doin'?" to your mimosa, this is it. Can't wait to come back and bring friends for a brunch round two.

I'm not sure how busy it gets on weekends. The coffee is always fresh, and the menu has all the classic café breakfast options you'd expect. My favorite is the chorizo omelette with a side of strawberries. The omelette is flavorful without being greasy, and the strawberries are always fresh and delicious. The toast is decent, though I think trying a different bread brand could make it even better. The servers are consistently friendly and attentive. Orders come out quickly, and coffee refills are always topped off without having to ask. Overall, Frank's is a great spot for breakfast and definitely worth checking out.

I was greeted after a moment, just after 8:30 when there was only one server working. Two others arrived probably 15 minutes later. It really wasn't much different inside than when it was Johnny's. I even sat at the counter. It feels renewed, not renovated. Having a drink menu at 8:30 in the morning seemed more "Breakfast at Tiffany's" than I considered, even though I knew that they had such a menu. I think I spent too much time thinking about that. I ended up ordering Chorizo & Eggs. That's a first time for me. I was thinking that I spent almost a week in Monterrey, NL, and I couldn't remember anything I ate. The hotel restaurant had Spanish food, and that was 1977. With a name like Querencia (hangout/haunt), I had to try a Mexican breakfast. When the food arrived, she told me that the tortillas would take an extra moment. I asked something silly: "is there a special way to eat the meal?", especially since everything comes with tortillas. She was kind and helpful. The Chorizo & Eggs didn't look as appetizing as I expected it would. The good thing was that it was more like grandma cooked than having a chef. Tell me that you don't like grandma's cooking more. Come on. With the orange juice, it was about $28 and 22% tip put it over $34. The servers all seemed very friendly, and the food was good.

We started with the mimosa flights. We couldn't decide on flavors, however, Aaliyah picked a variety of flavors for us, so we were covered. The food came out hot! I had the meat lover skillet with eggs over-easy. The eggs were cooked perfect. The warm yolk added to the flavorful meat and smothered potatoes. René had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was juicy and tender. Next time we'll ask for a side of sauce because it's so good that we needed more than provided, at least for us. One thing we noticed was that every customer was happy. Maybe the other customers were regulars there but this was our first time and we were treated like we were regulars. I think it just says something about the attention to customer service. Toward the end of our visit, "B" one of Sheila's daughters, came out to check on us. Again, it was like talking to a long time friend. Well, it turns out Sheila B'Z is a family business - - everyone working was family, including those working the food truck at an event today.
