The Service was amazing! The food was amazing and they had big portions unlike any other restaurants.

    French toast is great.

The ambiance at this place is great, it gives me a classical cabin vibe. The food was peak, the waffles were great, and so was the French toast and eggs. The service was great, our waiter was super polite and the food came super fast. My family had a great time here. This is our new spot!

Like others have mentioned this is an old-time diner that has been in this location for years with pretty much the same staff and repeat customers. Place is large, we've gone there when it's been busy and when it's slow and the service is always efficient and friendly. Prices are also good and portion sizes are large. We like that the meats are good quality, ham, bacon, and sausage. We've tried just about all the diners in Manteca and their bacon and breakfast sausage is the best. Even when we ordered the mini or light entrées, we still end up taking leftovers home. We also like the pancakes which are huge and fluffy.

We were promptly seated on a Sunday at about 1pm and ordered beverages right away. I tried the corned beef hash and eggs, ordered crispy corner beef with eggs on the lighter side as I don't like dry scrambled eggs. Corned beef was mushy, not crispy though. Also ordered the hash browns crispy and it came with biscuits and gravy. My goodness! So so much food! I had at least a whole meal for two left over! Hubby got chorizo and eggs, with potatoes. Again, giant sized and at least another meal. It was good, not great but server was fantastic.

A must-visit restaurant in Manteca!…read more Besitos Fine Cuisine has been one of my favorite local spots for years! Back when I worked for the City of Manteca, they frequently catered our events, and the food was always something to look forward to. My coworkers and I also made it a tradition to visit the restaurant about once a month for breakfast or brunch, and it never disappointed! The food is absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of options to choose from. You can tell there's real care and attention put into what they serve. The staff has always been incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which makes the experience even better. Now, I'll admit, it's definitely on the pricier side, but in my experience, the quality of the food, the selection, and the wonderful service make it worth every penny. I love supporting local businesses that consistently deliver great experiences, and Besitos is one of those places I genuinely enjoy recommending. Whether you're a Manteca local or just passing through, I highly recommend stopping by for breakfast or brunch. Definitely a local gem worth visiting!

We wouldn't have come here if we knew that, considering there is mimosas in the pictures. Other than that, cute place if you don't mind serving yourself, including water and lemonade. The staff was super nice but the food was mediocre. The biscuit was really dry and a tad hard. The sausage is Italian Sausage and it seemed pink in the middle. The gravy has sage in it. Lots and lots of flies, even with the fans. We wouldn't go back.

The Mangy Moose is exactly the kind of place I love stumbling across. It has a genuine old-school…read morediner feel that you just don't get from the big chain restaurants anymore. The place is narrow, with a long counter running down the length of it and additional seating tucked away in the back. Grab a seat at the counter and the grill is literally right on the other side, so you get a front-row seat to the action while your breakfast is being made. And honestly, the entertainment is half the experience. The cooks and wait staff are constantly joking, talking, and giving each other a hard time. Their friendly banter is so natural that I found myself wondering if this was a family-run business. Whether it is or not, they definitely have that kind of chemistry. They also seemed to know just about every regular who walked through the door. Between the conversations, laughter, open grill, and familiar faces, I couldn't help thinking I'd somehow wandered onto an episode of Cheers, only instead of sitting at the bar with a beer, I was at the counter with coffee and a seriously impressive breakfast. I ordered The Moose Omelet, and apparently the moose isn't just there for decoration. This thing is a beast. Four eggs packed with crisp bacon, linguica, sausage, ham, green onions, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, and thin-sliced potatoes that reminded me of scalloped potatoes, all folded into the omelet and blanketed with melted cheddar cheese. Their homemade pico was delicious and went perfectly with the omelet. What I liked most about The Mangy Moose is that it doesn't feel manufactured or overly polished. It's a real neighborhood diner with character, generous food, friendly people, and the kind of atmosphere that's becoming harder and harder to find. I may have walked in as the new guy, but it definitely feels like the kind of place where, after a few visits, everybody really would know your name. I'll be back. Five stars.

I ordered a plate of crispy hashbrowns topped with tender pulled pork, smothered in rich, creamy gravy, and sprinkled with fresh jalapeños for a perfect kick. It was comforting without being heavy, like a warm hug you didn't know you needed. But the best part? They had fun flavored mimosas that made brunch feel like a celebration. We tried a few different flavors, and each one was bright, refreshing, and paired perfectly with the savory food. (Rachel Green would approve.) The staff was friendly, kept the coffee refills coming, and made us feel welcome without hovering. The prices were fair, and the portions were generous enough to leave you full but not overly stuffed. If you're looking for a cozy spot with great food, good vibes, and a reason to say "How you doin'?" to your mimosa, this is it. Can't wait to come back and bring friends for a brunch round two.

Service- the staff were nice, but they were slow. Granted, there was a large table ahead of us, so +1 for that Food- I ordered the kalua pork and rice. The kalua pork was probably reheated on the griddle, kind of salty, it was meh. The biggest disappointment was the rice. It was hard. For a "Hawaiian" restaurant to not know how to cook rice is sad. This place has potential. I don't know if they are tired or don't have that spark. Maybe they need a new location. The park across the street has a bunch of unhoused folks.

Everyone here is so sweet and helpful, and from what I've observed, they know many of their customers by name. You can feel the genuine sense of community. That same care carries over into the food. For the longest time, I couldn't stop ordering the turkey pesto sandwich because it was that good. Once I finally started trying other menu items, I realized it wasn't just one great sandwich. Everything I've had has been delicious. The coffee and tea are exceptional as well. Manteca is so lucky to have a place like Bean & Leaf. Given the multitude of licenses at stake in such enterprises, I wish to share my recent experience at this location. This morning, my husband and I visited, and we were somewhat disappointed with the quality of our orders. He ordered a vanilla latte with oat milk, while I ordered an oat milk latte with an extra shot of espresso at a temperature of 200 degrees. He also selected a ham, cheese, and egg croissant, and I opted for a bacon and cheese croissant. Regrettably, the items did not meet our expectations. The beverages lacked the desired strength; although the temperature was correct, I was informed after placing our order that they were out of oat milk and had to substitute it with almond milk. Given that we had already paid approximately $30, this was quite disappointing. Despite these concerns, we did not request a discount or refund, and we accepted the substitution that was communicated to us approximately 10 to 15 minutes after placing our order. On a positive note, the staff were very courteous, and the establishment was clean. However, I suspect that the items we ordered may not represent the best offerings on their menu. While the service was commendable, there was a notable wait involved. It would have been preferable to have been informed of the oat milk shortage prior to payment, as we might have chosen to leave at that point. Unfortunately, our dissatisfaction led us to seek alternative options, and we subsequently drove to Stockton to visit Peet's Coffee, where we consistently find lattes prepared to our liking. While we may not return to this location, I do not wish to portray it negatively. It is clear that the establishment has potential, yet our experience did not align with our expectations.

I had already been having such a hard morning and had been crying. I originally stopped at ELIYANNA CAFE just hoping to get a cup of coffee, slow my day down, and give myself a little pick me up, but unfortunately I had such a terrible customer service experience that I actually left feeling even worse. After that, I came here because I wanted to grab some donuts for the kids, and I am so glad I did. I wish I had gotten the woman's name because she was absolutely wonderful. We started talking a little bit, and I think she could probably tell I was having a hard day. She treated me with so much kindness, patience, and genuine warmth. It was not anything huge or over the top, but that is exactly the point. Sometimes a small act of kindness from a stranger can mean so much more than they realize. She made me feel welcome. She made me feel seen. And after the kind of morning I had been having, that meant everything to me. I walked in feeling completely defeated and walked out feeling lighter and genuinely grateful. That is what good customer service is about. It is not just taking an order or handing someone their food. It is how you make people feel while they are there. Thank you so much to the woman who helped me today. You probably have no idea how much your kindness meant to me, but you completely changed the direction of my morning. I will absolutely be coming back and supporting this business. Places like this are a reminder that kindness really does go a long way.
