It had been a few years since I been to wava and was digging a Teriyaki chicken bowl, so I stopped by here, prices deff have gone up, but not too bad. Ordered the half chicken half beef with veggies, one for me and one for my brother with a small drink, as we were dinning in. Total was about $29. We dined in, location was clean, quiet and very nice ambient. We waited about 5 mins for our bowls. The portions were decent, could have had more rice and more veggies but the protein was good. 3/5 for potions but 5/5 for flavor. We didn't get full so we ordered the promotion they had on the window, 2 for $14. So in total we spent about $45 plus tax on 4 bowls of rice veggies and meat. Overall the food was good, service was good, price a bit high for the portion. Maybe a once a month thing for me. But overall a 4/5.

The trashcan is full and it's dirty stains everywhere. The picture doesn't know justice and it smells.

I repeated my order three times. No rice, sauce on the side and only veggies. He still gave me lots of sauce (too much) in my bowl. I told them that there are no more straws no more lids by the fountain drink machine and he pointed and said there's some by the register instead of saying OK no problem, I will fill it up. The trashcan is filthy. The counters are not wiped down. I will never come here again. The place is empty and there's four workers on this Monday shift at 4:20 PM. Unacceptable service and acceptable hospitality and dirty and it smells!

Steak bowl with Avocado and mini chicken bowl.

Great food super fresh and great customer service from Jaimy ! Would definitely be coming back.

They were also very nice to let me sample their bun bo hue broth, which was very good and not too spicy. My girlfriend really liked their broth as well and thought it was authentic for Vietnamese standards. However, I decided to opt for the Pho Brisket sandwich as I didn't feel like eating any heat for the night. The pho brisket sandwich was pretty big, and the meat was very tender. The pho broth was rich and it is southern style too. I loved dipping the sandwich into the broth. The greens and picked onions were fresh, and the fries were crispy and the right amount of salt. I really enjoyed my meal and definitely next time I would like to try the bun bo hue style sandwich.

I ordered the Tai Lan, which is a fun cross between phở and a noodle salad. Sliced tender ribeye sits over garlic oil phở noodles on a bed of greens and fresh herbs, tossed with a shallot tamarind sauce, topped with crispy garlic, and served with a side of their 24-hour bone broth to sip or pour over. The ribeye was genuinely tender, the tamarind sauce had a nice tangy-sweet kick, and the crispy garlic tied it all together. Added some sriracha for a little more flavor and to give it a kick. Best phở I've ever had? No. But it's a clever modern take and I left very full and very happy, which is exactly what I needed. And if phở isn't your thing, the menu sprawls into wagyu phở, garlic noodles with filet, lomo saltado, sandwiches (which look amazing) and even Vietnamese coffee with sea salt foam. Plenty to explore. This is now the first spot I'd send anyone to in the Glendora Public Market, and a real step up from the ramen place that used to be in the same space. Already plotting my return.

This was the closest one to us, and it definitely lived up to what I was expecting. I tried their new Bolognese udon, and it did not disappoint. It had a really rich, savory tomato flavor that paired surprisingly well with the chewy udon noodles. It's a little different from the usual udon dishes, but that's what made it stand out. I would definitely get it again, especially since udon is one of my favorite types of noodles. My friends got the Nikutama udon, which was also really good. You can tell the udon is freshly made, with that perfect chewy texture. We also grabbed some of their tempura sides, and they were crispy, light, and super satisfying. The workers were really nice, and the whole setup runs pretty smoothly even when it gets busy. The space itself is pretty spacious with lots of seating, so it's great for groups. It has a casual, lively feel with people coming in and out, grabbing trays, and building their meals, which adds to the overall experience.

The nikutama udon was only warm rather than hot, and the broth tasted overly salty with a slight sweetness. I added green onions and flakes, but the flakes quickly became soggy in the soup. I also ordered crispy katsu, which was actually quite fresh and tender, and helped give an extra star. I also tried a battered chickenc tempura shrimp, and battered sausage that was cold and seems left out for a while. I can't say the meal was enjoyable.

I took my mom here for a Mother's Day brunch and my birthday celebration because it falls around…read morethe same time every year. I am so glad we chose Hide Out Cafe in Rowland Heights to have our celebration. The food is delicious, the staff is so friendly, and the cafe is so cozy and welcoming. My brother was sponsoring our meal since he couldn't make it, so of course we had to go all out and order two drinks and two main dishes. (Thank you, big brother)! I got the Boba Bear Set $8.50, which comes with a drink and two house-made cookies, and my mom got their Tiramisu Latte $7.00, which is heavy on the coffee liquor, to be honest, but we had fun with it. The drinks are crafted beautifully, and with the open cafe concept, you can see they pay attention to the small details of their crafted drink menu. The house-made cookies that were a part of my Boba Bear Set are not to be forgotten. The cookies are buttery, decadent, and delicious; they are the perfect tea cookies to pair with! I can't wait to go back and try more of their fun drinks and maybe bring a study book the next time. For our main dishes, we shared the Chimi Wagyu & Frites $35.00, and the Fresh Avocado Toast $19.00. We both love eggs so of course we had to get something with eggs in our dish. My mom loved her avocado toast, and they were very generous with the avocado as well on there. The salad is a definite hit with us and included a great dressing on the side. The eggs were cooked perfectly on top of our toast and steak. The frites with my steak were crispy and seasoned well. I also loved the chimi sauce with my steak as well. The portion was huge so we were able to take some back home to enjoy another day. Overall, my mom and I had a great experience and would absolutely come back for another sip of their lattes and try another fun drink on their menu. We left with happy smiles and full stomachs, and can't wait to come back soon.

It's a brown sugar milk tea with caramel foam with a floating frozen milk tea bear. ADORABLE!! The set even includes two house-made cookies. WOW! TASTY!! (Important: Cash is not accepted. Bring card or contactless payment.) I arrived at Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) on Wednesday (around 10:21AM). Parking is very easy. The lot is big. However, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is very hidden. It has no visibility from the street! Staff is very professional and welcoming. Staff politely and cheerfully answered all my questions. Staff is very knowledgeable and accommodating. For example, the location does not have a paper menu; all the menus are accessed via QR Code. Fortunately, Staff let me borrow their iPad which allowed me to see the menu on a larger screen. When I'd arrived, Staff asked if I was dine-in or to-go. I was immediately seated. When I'd inquired about the boba. Staff honestly told me that they needed 15 additional minutes to prepare the boba. I brightly waited. All in all, after the 15 minute wait, the drink took an additional 10 minutes before being ready. As mentioned, I ordered the Boba Bear Set ($8.50). CUTE!!! It's a very aesthetic and memorable presentation. The boba pearls came perfect; they're bouncy, perky, and playful. The brown sugar milk tea mixed with the caramel foam tasted honey-like. It's very TASTY! My biggest nitpick is that the amount felt tiny. Still, it's a wonderful memory that I'm so happy to experience! On ambiance, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) is comfortable and clean. There's about 13 interior tables, and there's six patio tables. The music is slow-tempo, and the tall ceiling made it feel spacious. In addition, Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) has utility. There's customer internet with password; details are available on the QR code menu. There's also about four electrical outlets. I also appreciated the self-service water station. There's also a gender neutral restroom in the back. Hide Out Cafe (Rowland Heights) felt very hidden yet well-maintained. It's a lovely spot. Overall, I had a magical, memorable experience. I discovered AMAZING milk tea and many precious memories. If searching for someplace special, I happily recommend. 4.9 out of 5
