This is our go to stop everytime we visit from Out of town. I usually order the salmon veggie bowl and sometimes a miso soup. I wish they had wabba grill up here in the Bay Area cuz they would eat this place uppppp. It's consistently delicious, a good portion of protein, veggie, rice-literally makes the perfect post gym workout meal! Love their sauce too! The miso soup was so comforting too. Seating is available inside and outside too, usually very clean and chill. The restaurant has kiosks and staff to assist inside, staff has always been kind and professional. overall everything is great price for quality protein meals. read more

Not sure if I caught them on a not so great day but I didn't enjoy their bowl today. I was so disappointed because I have had Waba Grill plenty of times (not this location) and have had no problems. And the bowl looked good too so I was so excited! The restaurant itself was clean but the rice was undercooked and the steak and chicken I received was very chewy to the point that I couldn't enjoy my food. Don't let the picture fool you. Literally the only reason I give this place two stars is because the staff was nice and the tables were clean (the bare minimum in my opinion) read more

Will be the last time I come here. Usaully come once a week. All of a sudden they are charging $2 more a bowl, skipping on the meat, no carrots or green onion. Don't know if under new ownership. But surrounding ones are still charging $2 less. Will not be visiting this on anymore. read more

This was a disappointment. Order the chili crispy dumplings. My child ate 2 and asked "are these suppose to be crispy?" So I took the rest, went back inside and asked. I was told yes. I explained they were not crispy. So they redid them. Never will I go to this one again. Instead of cooking them to get them a little crispy, they heated them up on the grill, put them in bowl with sauce and mixed in bowl. then put them back on the fryer and the fire that came up was ridiculous and this is what they served me. My car smelt like burnt spice. read more

I came in right before closing. That didn't bother Evelyn! She treated me with positive energy, as if they had just opened. Polite & patient, she helped me place my order, helped me get points, and went above and beyond to make sure I had fresh food with a smile. @ Some places people say don't order right before closing--not an issue at Corona Waba Grill! First time eating waba grill, coworker mentioned it being good so i decided to order food here. it was a pick up order. I got two bowls one with brown one with white. they both had white rice. 5 stars The teriyaki chicken with brown rice was absolutely delicious--perfectly cooked and flavorful. The customer service was top-notch, very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was spotless--not even a grain of rice on the table. Highly recommend! YELP you need to update the 2.5 star to at least a 4. Their service is absolutely terrible I tried ordering more food but i waited at the register while the two workers talked and giggled . i guess their conversation was more important than customer service . lucky a shorter hispanic worker had to stop doing what she was working on so she could assist me . while the other workers laughed and giggled. and when they asked what was wrong i said how about you do your job instead of talking and giggling . and they continued to laugh . i believe her name is ALIDAY S. and her friend with the piercing in her nose . i will not be returning. read more

Would give 0 stars as well. This is based solely on my experience with one worker here. Older lady at the register *Kimberly C as I see on my receipt. She would give me the total repeatedly without letting me finish what I wanted to order. Then she scoffed and was rude the rest of the time and to top it off she served what seemed to be regulars before me. I had to write to the company with additional details that I do not want to disclose but I was completely taken aback how some people are so unprofessional working in a service industry that's solely working with customers. And the actual audacity to treat other people in a working environment with such a demeaning and condescending attitude is beyond me. *wish I would have read the reviews prior to visiting this location. From what I have seen scrolling through these reviews it seems like the only consistent thing at this location is Kimberly's unprofessional behavior and attitude towards customers, how she continues to work is beyond me. This is actually a very bad reflection of everyone managing, leading and owning this business. ** thank you for the generic response but prior to my review I made sure to contact you first to redeem the situation but have still not heard back from you. read more

Amazing service everytime I eat in or order out. They always have my order ready to go as soon as I walk in the building.

This review is due to this location frequently not allowing phone orders. I have tried to order multiple times at various times of the day & was told " this location is not taking phone order, you'll have to order in person." Then I've gone in person & there was no line, so they weren't "too busy." This location needs to improve convenience because it does impact service. Do better. read more

Overall the tables are clean, and floors are acceptable. The person working the register almost always greets a customer when they come in. Their menu, typical beef bowl food. But wait they now serve tacos (!?) hmmm WABA tacos, dunno. Any way I ordered the combo bowl, chicken and beef on white rice. I've been here several times and they consistently either under cook or not enough water in the white rice. After seeing plastic rice, makes me wonder !!! Don't know if WABA is in my food rotation Sorry read more

Terrible rubbish all the food taste bad the chicken one time felt like rubber chewing it I've tried the chicken bowl it came with chicken rice and veggies all those things are really hard to mess you yet some how they found a way carrots turns in to mush when I touch them chicken was very rubbery and white rice was nothing to right in the books about terrible I thought I was going to get food poisoning from it and go to the hospital I recommend that you stay at least 15 feet away from the is place at all times for your own safety and it's terrible when people you know like it so it probably won't be my last time getting food poisoning and almost die from this terrible rubbish food maybe stay 20feet away from this place and I pray the I don't have to go here again read more

Food was good! But cashier, Kimberly c on the receipt, was really rude. Everyone in our party noticed.

Tried WaBa Grill today for the first time. I called asking some questions then called back again and placed a To Go order. The girl answering the phone was nice and answered all the questions that I had. She asked me how long it would take me to get there and I told her 15 minutes. My food was ready when I go there and the cashier was very nice. The restaurant was clean and there were about a half a dozen tables occupied of customers eating. Everything was really nice. My food tasted great so I will definitely be coming back. read more

It was good, not in the best neighborhood. Did not feel safe took it to go. The patio area was chained up that says a lot about the area.

Just like all the other reviews I AGREE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE ! The times I've gone in the lady in the front helping me out has given attitude and is super super dry. Her name is Kimberly, the manager there needs to fire her or they will be loosing customers. Never coming back here again. read more

The Food is good and staff members are very friendly . Online ordering is so simple and very quick .

I go here about once a week. I've not found the workers rude, just very busy. The food has always been good and I've not been disappointed with the service or the food. I am usually try to go a time of day when they are not so busy. They do get backed up when busy, cut them son slack!! First time at WaBa grill and it was great! The place was clean and the staff was friendly. They explained some of the menu to us because we had never been there before. The price was decent and the food was delicious. It was perfectly seasoned and not overwhelming. I am vegetarian and my husband isn't so there were choices for both of us. The tofu was some of the best I have ever had, it was actually charred from the grill and I have never had tofu like that. My husband got the chicken and he loved it, it too was perfectly charred. Overall, we highly recommend eating here. read more

I've had a few issues with my orders in the past and have never been able to get a hold of a manager. The feedback I've received regarding the manager's availability is that they do not have a set schedule, with is unusual for a restaurant. This location is also constantly hiring, which leads me to believe that it's due to the lack of support from management. The location has had a "Now Hiring " banner up for over a month which leads me to believe that this location is in need of new management. read more

I agree with all the other reviewers about the poor service. I just moved to the neighborhood from Orange County. And this was my first and last time here. I went in yesterday December 2nd in the afternoon. The lady who took my order was so rude. I'd never been to a Waba Grill so I was trying to decide what I wanted to order. She rolled her eyes at me and rushed me through. No greeting no smile. I mean it was obvious she was bothered that she had to work. I ordered a steak bowl and she said no veggies and rung me up. Actually, I wanted veggies but she didn't even give me the chance to order them. Just rushed me through. When I got home and opened my steak bowl they massacred my steak. It looked more like pieces of burnt minced meat. Disgusting! Someone needs to call the department of health on this establishment! read more

Cashier who worked tonight was HORRIBLE AND RUDE AS HELL ! I had placed a order a couple days ago but something came up at work and I ended up taking lunch later then expected so I never got to pick up my food. I went in today and told the cashier this. She literally repeated " oh yeah that order was placed and no one picked it up. " I just stood looking at her like ????? That's wtf I just explained. Within three minutes of placing our order, we had our food. I ordered the WaBa bowl (steak, chicken and rice) with veggies. The steak and chicken were both cooked in a savory and sweet sauce.
