I have come to school fundraiser events held at this location. The owner of this location was here, very sweet and seemed to really care about her guests. What's very unfortunate is the staff here is not nice. There is an older woman that is shorter with grey hair and every morning when my son and I come she has such a bad attitude. Very rude and gets upset if we don't want to use the computer to place our own order . Today she was talking to staff and kept telling us to wait if we wanted to place our order with her, she was doing it on purpose since we didn't want to place using the computer. Horrible customer service. I placed an order on the mobile app for a breakfast burrito this morning and checked in that I was there. I went to the counter and was told by Luis that he didn't see my order. I showed him the order number and my receipt and said he couldn't help me if it didn't show on his screen. I waited for about 15 minutes and told me there was nothing he could do even with my receipt. I asked to speak to the store manager and he said he was the store manager. Came here on a Wednesday afternoon and to my surprise it was extremely busy. There was only one parking spot left. Liz was very helpful, took my order which was 6 hard-shell tacos, 6 chicken soft tacos and an order of large fries. Honestly worst customer service I've ever had going thru a drive thru. I've worked in fast food as headset girl and know what great service is. I did not once see this girl smile and her tone of voice as well as raising it literally fighting me on using my offer saying I can only use it at the speaker, you could tell she hates her job and there's no compromising when it comes to customers. I will definitely not be coming back. Also forgot my fry to add. Tried to say I did not order my regular fry which was literally on the receipt. Even if it wasn't on her screen as she stated, the way she handled the situation was not a way to talk to a customer. The food was good but this place needs to reconsider their staff if they want more business. Went by del taco tonight after work and I always ask for xtra scorcho. Today was the first time that I got enough scorcho with my order and it's thanks to Oriandi. I've gone to the one off main st in corona and the one off McKinley in corona. I'm always short on salsa even thigh I order 4 del tacos and get about 6 salsas. They messed up on my shake and to make it any worse they didn't give me some of my order! I honestly don't recommend this location!

They repeatedly get my order wrong. Del tacos with no cheese, ALWAYS end up with cheese. Half the time when I go back for a remake, they put hardly anything in my tacos and I'm just eating shell. Everyone has missed having a Del Taco on the west side of Corona for the last 4 years. The old one was demolished to make room for the 91 Freeway expansion. But unlike the freeway expansion, it looks like the new Del Taco unit came out good. Overall, it is a Del Taco. So all of the food favorites you enjoyed at their other units are also here. While the new unit has been open for less than a week, I've gone through the drive thru twice and have been trying to catch up on all of their foods that I've missed for the last 4 years. The food is just as good. In fact, I think its portions are better. That could be because they essentially had to totally re-staff the entire unit. But the old manager is the same. And she is not only committed to doing everything right, she is personally involved in the day to day operations. My favorite items continue to be their Hard Shell "Value" Tacos, "Value" Red Bean Burrito, and $1 Quesadilla "Snacker". I got 6 items yesterday and paid just over $5 !! Of course I used my Senior (Senor) Citizen discount (53 cents). But even if you are not old like me it would have cost your less than 6 Bucks. That's a lot of food for not much money. The only reason I am rating it 4 out of 5 is the Drive Thru. It is on the tight side ... snaking left and right and then left again before you get to the pickup window. I went through it in my Toyota Avalon with no problem. But I'm glad I did it with that car rather than my Ford F150. It's not impossible but it gives you a chance to demonstrate how good a driver you are. If it's the first time you go through it, take care. You are now forewarned. Look at my pictures. The new unit now has 2 unisex restrooms inside the unit ... as opposed to having to go outside to use them as you did at the old unit. And since it is located exactly on top of where the old unit was, get off and back on at Serfas Club Drive exits off the 91 just as you probably did for the old unit. My wife and I are delighted to have that Del Taco back. They have some "startup" issues to deal with. But cut them some slack. I am confident it will even better than before. read more

I ordered food and a medium strawberry lemonade. After drinking the lemonade, I opened the top to eat the strawberries and there was a bug in an ice cube. I called and spoke with the manager Mayra. She agreed to write my name down and replace the drink and 1 food item, not my entire meal. I requested that she throws the ice batch out and start a new one. This is disgusting. read more

I've never had such an issue with any fast food place as I did here tonight at 1am. I ordered 3 bean and rice burritos with red sauce and black beans, my friend ordered a pollo bowl with steak and a large Diet Pepsi, the total was $12.57. I paid $13 in all singles. She told me she only charged me for one burrito, and said she needed to refund me and gave me $3 and change back I was so confused. I told the manager to come, she said now the black beans cost extra and I owe her $10 more, I said refund the rest of my money, she gave me a five dollar bill and a single and a quarter a Nicole and two pennies, she could not tell me how much a single black bean and rice burrito with red sauce was and refused to give us my $3 that I had lost. I was arguing with two Hispanics women in their thirties on a Friday night, I'm fully dressed like a fireman and needed to go to work, after realizing these two girls either pulled a fast one on me for three dollars are were where they need to be employment wise and that's working the night shift at del taco because they cannot take orders and are not honest. I went to a different del taco and for 3 black bean red sauce and rice burritos there was no extra charge for the black beans! So at 6:23 am I called del t Thea I and spoke to a manager and he said he counted the cash register and he had $3 too much in the register! He told me to pick it up, I live in Huntington Beach and was passing through so it's impossible to go back! I asked for him to send me the money and he said he would have a manager call me. It's been 18 hours and no call so I called in at 12:23 am, the women who worked Friday night at 2 am who refunded me $3 short of $13 said yes she took my money but I only bought three burritos which is wrong, she also said I asked for $2, IT WAS $3! The order was 3 bean and rice burritos with black beans she WAS NOT ANLW TO TELL ME THE PROCE JUST RHAT IT WAS more for BLACK BEANS ( the second del taco I went to did not charge extra for black beans!) And a superset order for my friend a pollo Saadi bowl with steak instead and a large Diet Coke, she tried to give me back $6 and change after I gave her $13! And then I was refunded only $4 more dollars meaning she did not refund me $3 nor offer me the food I had been waiting in line for for 25 minutes! She decided to argue with me and lie and say she didn't take the money, she obviously hates her life if she has to work the midnight shift on weekends and is put to make my life miserable because she was mad she was at work and decided to withhold my money and food! read more

They still owe the contractors the money to build this location while they are open and doing business. I have not been in to this Del Taco since it re-opened, so I can't say much about it. My co-worker went on a lunch run today though and I was not impressed. I ordered a spicy jack chicken quesadilla " Bold Style" ( with French fries and cream sauce inside). They forgot to "Bold" the quesadilla, so he took it back. It appears that they ripped open the quesadilla, stuffed in some fries and set it back out. It was pretty much destroyed when I opened it. Not a good start if you ask me. Also they sent us the wrong tacos. Ordered and paid for classic tacos and got the chinsy little tacos instead. read more
