At 92 it's a favorite treat and I was so happy to find a place on the way to her home that makes a good old fashioned pastrami on a french roll with pickles. She just lights up when I bring it. So the name and prices have changed. The same exact order I made 2 weeks ago is $5 more for the exact same food. Grilled chicken sandwich was $7.95 and it's $10.99 now. Same exact sandwich. My other favorite is up $2. Same exact food. If the food is the same because they kept all the cooks I'm ok with that. Otherwise I'm not really happy about this . Been dying to try this restaurant since my kids come to boxing class nearby and I finally had the opportunity last week but was surprised to be sent away after walking in on a Friday night shortly after 8 pm. The gentleman at the counter told me they wouldn't be able to serve us since it was 8:10 pm and they close at 9:00 pm. Guess I'll just take my business elsewhere. We ended up going to a different place nearby and they were happy to serve us. We sat and ate there and we're honestly done by 9 pm. Highly recommend the steak and egg breakfast- such a value! I sat down inside and it was very clean and nice. I've also used the drive thru which was extremely convenient. We loved their mango smoothie and tuna melts . After a couple years I've decided to retry this establishment, and I'm glad that I did. I've been about four times now and the service was excellent, and the food was CONSISTENT. The Cali burger is honestly so good, and has been so fresh every time I've been. The wait times in the drive through is to be expected due to them cooking it all fresh. Employee Isabel was very disrespectful to me. Isabel yelled to the chef in Spanish "Ella quiere todo gratis" which translates to "she wants everything free". Furthest from the truth. I purchased a family meal+ ranch all I asked in all seriousness was if the banana peppers were an extra charge as well (since prices are increasing). Which lead Isabel to answer me sarcastically and laugh at me since that was not enough she then got the chef and manger to join in (yelling to them in Spanish in front of me). First and foremost, I LOVE supporting family-owned businesses. And I have supported Copperlocks since it opened. In fact, I make an effort to go anytime I'm in the area. I typically go during the day so prior to tonight, I had no idea when closing hours were. But on my way, I checked the hours on Yelp. I also looked on Apple Maps which both indicated that it closes at 9:00pm. I arrived at 7:48 to which I was greeted by a soft spoken young man. Before I can place the order he tells me that it needs to be for takeout. I asked what time he closed and he mumbles something to the effect of "I don't know 8 or 8:30." He then tells me that the drive-thru was open until 9:00. Please keep in mind that both Yelp and Apple Maps tell me the restaurant closes at 9:00. There was no distinction between inside and drive-thru. Meanwhile, there was another family already eating inside. And it was still only 7:48. If in fact the inside closed at 8:30, shouldn't I still be allowed to eat inside? Highly disappointed in the poor customer service. Each visit of mine has been exemplary. Yet, tonight's was so disappointing and bothersome. Not sure I'll be back. But, this kid should have got a manager to come talk to me or offered a more sincere apology than the half-hearted one I received. Why am I being turned away service over 40 minutes prior to closing? I had never heard of Copperlocks before but decided to give it a try. This is the place off Green River in Corona. I ordered two burgers and, while waiting in my car, I noticed through the window that the cook was handling the food without gloves. He slapped the patties onto the buns, wiped his hands on his apron, pressed the buns together, wiped his hands again, placed the assembled burgers into the bag, then wiped his hands on a wet towel sitting on top of chopped lettuce--before wiping his hands once more on his visibly dirty apron. All of this was done casually while he chatted and laughed with a female worker. When she brought the food to the drive-thru window, I refused it and politely requested a refund. I explained my concern about the lack of gloves, to which she responded that they never wear gloves--that's just their procedure. She then became defensive, refused to issue a refund, and told me to speak with the owner the next day if I wanted my money back. I never returned and never will. That place is unsanitary, and the service was terrible. I will be sharing this experience on my company's social media and informing all my friends and business partners. As a member of the Corona Chamber, Rotary Club, and Elk's Lodge, I will make sure they hear about this unacceptable food handling and poor customer service. read more

To the Owners and Staff, I recently visited your newly opened establishment and decided to give it a try. I ordered a burger and fries and pulled up to the window to pay. When I asked for condiments, I requested a side of ranch, only to be informed that it cost an additional $0.50, which I hadn't noticed posted at the drive-thru window. I politely declined the ranch due to the additional charge. I ended up waiting for about 10-15 minutes before a staff member returned to ask what I was waiting for. I repeated my order, and she walked away. A minute later, she returned with my food. I thought to ask if, considering the long wait, I could be given a complimentary ranch, but I was told no. While I understand that charges for extras are standard, I feel that such a small gesture could have made a difference and would have kept me coming back.
