The absolute best, friendliest service from Donna at the front counter. She greets everyone as they walk in, takes a genuine interest in them and follows up to make sure everyone is satisfied. The Good: the pastrami, pastrami melts and hamburgers were very tasty. The Bad: I'm not sure where all the positive raves are coming from regarding their french fries, but they are in no way comparable to that of In&Out. Well they are thick cut. They lacked seasoning. The zucchini was also fair, but it too lack seasoning. The Ugly: nothing fits in this category. All in all, most of the reviews about this place are accurate. There is a little bit longer wait time at the drive-thru, but that's to be expected since they don't have their food already pre-made. Everything is cooked to order, so expect a bit of a weight. This is not McDonald's fare. The pastrami fries are obscene. They come in a huge box with a huge portion of pastrami on top. The pastrami is fantastic. Sadly it sits on top of a bunch of mediocre cheese fries. Their fried zucchini is similar to other places. Smaller pieces so it's not too big. It only lacked seasoning. Oh, people that say the homemade ranch dressing is good. It's not. It needed more herbs and seasoning. The hamburger was also very good, but because the patties are so thin the "bread to condiment to meat" ratio is way off. They need another patty to round it out. But the overall flavor profile is good. Overall, I place Copperlocks way above Lucky Greek. It's a similar type of food. Greasy spoon with a drive-thru. I'll come back again. Not what I expected from a fast food drive thru! Skip the drive thru if you can and eat inside! The menu selection was good and what I expected from a burger joint. The shredded lettuce is crisp and because it's shredded, you don't get one big chunk in one bite, and none in another. Pickles are classic and crunchy. The thousand island is rich but tangy so it compliments the greasy burger and cheese. And then there is the bun (the part I appreciate most), it is fresh and fluffy and they toast it on the flattop so the edges are golden and crunchy. We come here often and the food is consistently delicious. The cashiers are always friendly and helpful. The entire restaurant is clean and the restrooms are always spotless. Big fan of Copperlocks. I can say that I have tried many dishes (pancakes, gyros, breakfast wrap, breakfast burger, pastrami fries, and a crispy chicken salad...to be specific) and only one was a miss (the salad, only because I wish it were bigger). In general, portion sizes are pretty hefty (except for the salad) and the food tastes delicious. I drive past the location often because it is on the way to drop off or pick up kids from school and the drive through makes it so tempting to just stop in and pick something up. The drive through makes this place a little deceiving because when you go inside it looks like a nicer restaurant and not a fast food place. Lastly, the staff is always so friendly and so helpful. When picked up my order was picked up extra item was charged prior to asking for them. I understand they charge for extra items, but they don't have the right to charge prior to being asked. Not only was it the longest wait in a drive thru with me and just one other car but ordered the bacon and avocado melt and I tossed it right out. You couldnt get browner avocado-gross and soggy tasteless bacon. Pictures taken 8 minutes later when I arrived home. Shame on you for serving this and feeding rotten food to your local supporters. Glad they've finally opened. We tried their club sandwich, fries, onion rings and a 2 egg breakfast. The breakfast was subpar, the eggs tasted worse than Dennys. Bacon was superb. Hashbrowns tasted as bad as they looked. Fortunately the club was okay. Fries were good, onion rings amazing and the homemade ranch was pretty good. The star of the show however was the ice-blended Mocha which was excellent! My advice is to avoid the breakfast menu. read more
