once again this place failed to provide good service. i placed and order via my phone app, and the order for my food was made incorrectly. i am providing pictures of receipt and the item i got. plus i called the number on the receipt and no one answered the phone. (this was takeout i have no comment about the ambiance) NOTE: after several calls I did speak with a Ms Shaonna, I told her the issue and what had transpired. She asked me to come back today or to come back another day. I will go another time because now Im home and would hate to leave just to get a new Bic Mac. One of the pluses of McDonald's is that you know what you are getting before you go there. Or so I thought.... Shrinkflation takes on a whole new meaning at this Yorba Linda location. I ordered the two cheeseburger combo meal (#9) at the drive thru . I typically avoid this location because it is an oddity. It appears busy , but in reality they are just super slow. At first, I was given the wrong order and found out that I was given the order for the car behind me. Originally, my plan was to take the meal and eat it at home. My inner-munchie self got the better of me so I pulled into a parking slot and pulled the meal out. I added a picture to this entry, but my order of fries was maybe 1/3 full, and that is being generous. This was not a situation where there was fry spillage in the bag, it was legit 2/3 empty. For my first time ever, I went back into the restaurant and asked for a full order of fries. Had I of waited until I got home, I (and my tastebuds) would have been seriously bummed. My recommendation is to divert and go to the across the parking lot Taco Bell, or better, hit the Costco food court. read more

Located right off the 91 freeway. This McDonald's came in clutch at dinner time. Ordering is done through kiosks here. You take a table number, enter it with your order,and an employee will hand deliver your meal to you. It was a little off putting walking in at first because there weren't any employees at the front counter. I ordered a few of their meal deals. They all came with some type of burger, small drink, and 4 piece nuggets and ranged in price from $6-$7. Yes, I know . I tried the hot honey sauce with my fries and I liked it. I also had a double burger -no onions -and a coke . The coke wasn't as sweet as I like. There is plenty of seating from booths to stools and there's even a playland outside. read more

OMG! My husband just told me there's no running water in the men's bathroom. How do the employees wash their hands?

Worst customer service ever. Was here today 8/2/2026 at 10:30a. The man working the window was rude, he didn't even give us a receipt or give us the chance to ask for one before closing the window real fast. When we get our food she sticks it out the window don't even look at us and then went to shut the window and we had to quickly say wait can we get ketchup please. The decor inside is very nice. There are no televisions so it's very quiet. There is also no customer service area. I do not recommend this location. Very slow and way under staffed. Most likely because of the owner or manager. They are picky with their product. Sodas/drinks are no longer available for refills. Not thru franchise but thru the manager/owner. Now they won't bring the food to you when you order for HERE AND GRAB A TABLE NIMBER. what's the point to grab a table number if they aren't bringing the food to you. What will be next?? The worker there on July 6, 2026 at about 5:15 pm did not care if I had to wait for 15 minutes for coffee. This is not the first time he made me wait for so long. When I said something about it, he said I could go elsewhere and he does not care. Instead of apologizing, he just couldn't care less. It is not his store, so yes, he does not care. SERVICE SUCKED! mobile order took 15min. went home to find out they forgot to give me a FULL bag of my burgers. called to tell them and drove back down. First off I sat at the drive through for 10 minutes while the cashier took the order for 4 cars in the other lane and I believe she only realized because I asked if someone was going to take our order when she accidentally switched to our speaker.she continued to take another cars order and came back to my speaker with absolutely no apology. What happened to this McDonalds? We used to love coming here but not anymore. Yesterday we ended up leaving after 40 minutes of waiting, without even getting our food. We ordered ahead of time for drive through pick up but the drive through wasn't moving when we got there (at all) so I went inside to see if I can get our food there. No such luck. The employees were too busy in the back to even acknowledge customers at the front counter. All of them just trying to avoid eye contact, God forbid anyone asked about their food. The only McDonalds I go to in the area. The last 3 times I was here staff was incredibly helpful and friendly despite it being so busy. I work in fast food service so I know how frustrating it is, but the staff here has always been hardworking and genuinely care whenever I've come in. Least organized location. I work near here, so I come here occasionally; however, they always take forever to fill your order. If it is once or twice, I can let it go, but when I went today, we are the only two customers inside, and the drive through line was short. I waited more than 5 minutes for a simple two item ice cream order before I had to get an attention from someone inside. The tables are never cleaned. I always have to look for a clean table. They should send their people to another location in Yorba Linda for training where there is always someone wiping the tables. To their credit, people working there is never rude, and their ice cream tastes better than other locations. Other than that, I only come here only if I have to. I would choose the other location over this one 10 out of 10 times. read more

Disappointed is an understatement. Went to my local Mcdonald's today and ordered a Medium Iced Coffee With Caramel syrup. I was given a small caramel macchiato. I went inside and complained and the manager told me they changed the cup sizes for iced coffees and that what I had was a medium. She also said that is an iced coffee. Last I checked iced coffees have coffee in them not just milk and caramel drizzle!!! I drove down to the La Palma location and ordered the same thing and they gave me my correct coffee. As you can see what I received from this location looks wildly different in size and color. Save your time and money and go to the La Palma location. read more

Echoing all of the other reviews. It's unfortunate, as the location is so convenient, but the service is nonexistent. I stopped there today (knowing better) only because it's close to my daughter's school and she begged for a Happy Meal for family picnic day at her school. Seeing just 4 cars in the drive thru and from past experience, I knew it would be 15+ min wait. I went inside, ordered a Happy Meal, 2 cheeseburgers, 2 fries, and 2 soft drinks. Fairly simple order. There were two other people in the restaurant and the 4 cars in the drive through. I waited nearly 10 minutes for my order and finally had to flag down an employee to ask where my order was. The complete lack of urgency and even awareness that people are waiting for orders is mind boggling. My order was sitting there, they just didn't bag it. One employee nonchalantly bagged it, placed it on the counter, and walked away. No straws (which were not out in the dining room) in the bag despite 3 drinks ordered. Had to flag down another employee to get straws. Overall 15+ minutes to get basic cheeseburgers and fries. McDonalds is McDonalds, I'm not expecting world class service or Michelin quality food--I frequent there only because my kids like the happy meals. I simply don't understand why it is so hard for this location to get orders right, get their wait times down, and be more efficient. I will drive out of my way to go to the location on La Palma/Imperial going forward. read more
